CHAPTER 8: SHE IS NOT OKAY

EIAN

I brought my car with me as I went to Vince's party. It was already pack of people I do not know most of them. But I know they were all from our school.

I saw Vince with some friends of ours near the stairs chatting. Vince waved at me as soon as he saw me walking in.

"Hey, I was about to dial your number. I thought you will not come." Vince said as I reached near them. "You are late."

"Of course, I will come and I won't miss a thing in your party." I replied as he gave some root beer. Yeah, root beer; we are not yet legal age for liquor. I do not know what others have but as much as possible I will not do it open wide. "I thought it was just a small party you have and what I see…" I did not finish my words and shaking my head. I heard Vince laughing loud.

"Well, I cannot help it they love parties and I let them be. Besides, it's our senior year and make best of it." He said grinning at me then I saw Cindy coming to us. Of course, she will be here with her boyfriend.

"Hi, Eian." She said greeting at me.

"Hi, it is good to see you here tonight." I spoke.

"I would not miss a thing." She smiled.

"Babe, where's Sky, by the way?" Vince asked as he faced Cindy.

"I thought she went here after I said I will go to the bathroom first." Cindy said with concern.

Suddenly I had a bad feeling about hearing it. I know Sky is not a partygoer and I know she was forcing herself to come because of Cindy.

"Come on, let's find her." I said and they all nodded. Vince and Cindy went together and our other two friends help us too.

I went to the kitchen when I heard voices from the bathroom. Two girls were talking and mentioning Sky's name.

"Are you sure she drinks it?" Girl 1 said and her voice was so familiar.

"Yeah, she did not even notice I changed her bottle." She replied. "Any minute it will…" The girl did not finish when I opened the bathroom door and saw who they were.

"Now, tell me where is Sky now?" I asked them with anger.

They both frightened knowing how I looked. "W-we do not know. T-the last time I saw her she was in here."

"I will deal with the two of you later." I said and left.

I quickly called Vince and told them what happen. I went to the back door thinking she passed through here.

I roamed my eyes and landed on the noises from the bench near the pool area. It was Callie's voice talking and she is not alone. I could hear her words, rejecting to someone because she was saying No and leave her alone. I walked closer and found out that the guy wanted to grabbed her to get up.

"Hey, what are you doing to her?" I asked in a loud voice. I have not seen this guy before in our school.

The guy froze, "I just want to send my girlfriend home, buddy. So, mind your own business." He answered.

I got closer to them and saw Callie's face; she was leaning back resting. I faced the guy angrily. "Funny thing, idiot, because that girlfriend you were talking about is my girlfriend. And I haven't seen you before." I said firmly and the guy eyes widen.

Before I knew it, he pushed me just to run away. I wanted to run after him but seeing Callie, I let it go for now.

"Cal, we've been looking for you. Cindy was looking for you." I said in a low voice and sat beside her. She was wearing feminine clothes and I have not seen her wearing that kind of clothes. Short skirt and sexy top. Her legs were exposed. She has a beautiful leg. I bit my lips, shaking my head.

'What am I thinking? You are jerk, Eian.' I was talking to myself and looked back to Cal's face.

"I… I am not feeling okay. I... I feel a little hot and dizzy. My body is..." She said in a weak voice.

I know what happened to her. It might not be that strong. But it could affect her system since it was slowly hit her. I took out my phone and call Vince.

"Hey, buddy" I said.

"Have you found her?" He asked.

"Yes, I found her. We are here at the back yard near the pool and she is not feeling okay." I informed him.

"We are on our way." Vince said and cut the line.

I caressed her hair as I waited them. "Cindy and Vince will be here." I whispered and she did not say a word. She put her head on my shoulder.

Minutes passed Vince and Cindy came, still Callie was resting her head. Cindy rushed as soon as she saw Callie.

"Best friend, you, okay? Gosh, what happen to you?" She said, worrying. "I should have not let you go alone."

"I will send her home so she could rest properly." I offered and Cindy nodded. "Do not worry about her. She is safe with me."

Cindy smiled slightly at me. "I know, Eian and I know your family and hers were close friends." She spoke. "But her parents were not at home right now. They were in some business trips and be back by Sunday or Monday I think."

"Okay, I will stay with her. Then call her parents to let them know what happen. Do not think too much just enjoy the rest of the night." I assured her.

They helped us as I carried her to my car. I know she could not walk straight with her situation. She put her arms wrapped around my neck and starts sniffing.

Cindy opened the passenger's door. I put Callie down slowly. Fasten the seatbelt then quickly closed the door. Rushing to the driver's side. I know she was uncomfortable right now. I waved them goodbye and we left the place.
