CHAPTER 7: ENJOY

Cindy and I were at my house since my parents were not staying here tonight until Sunday. They have some business trips then left me alone instead. Caria? I know where she is right now as usual.

I know how busy my parents were and they trusted me with so many things since I am now 18, not the last child under their roof.

"Come on, Sky, it's our last year in high school and please do not be a kill joy for once."

Cindy was bugging me to go to his boyfriend's party tonight. I do not like party even thou my parents allowed me to go and experience being young. But it is just me I am not into it.

Since this morning, Cindy keeps on begging me to come and it was irritating to my ears already.

I heavily sighed as I looked at her like a little puppy.

"Okay, okay, I will go since I know who hold the party but I will not stay longer." I said and she just smiled like an idiot jumping in my bed. Good thing my bed is super heavy duty that my parents bought it.

"Yes, I know you love me, best friend." She said then grabbed her bag. "I will pick you up and be ready by 7 tonight and wear a dress, skirt or short not that pair of pants, jeans or whatever please." She pleaded.

I rolled my eyes. "What? I do not think so. Cindy, that's too much you know." I said in disbelief.

"Please, this is our last year in our school. We will not be high school anymore just live a little fun in your life." She added and waved goodbye. She was already rushing out before I could tell her no.

No one saw me wearing a dress anymore, well, when I was a kid, yes. But growing up I junked my dresses, shorts and skirts somewhere in my closet but never wears them. I have nice long-legged legs like a super model and I never show it to people.

Some people told me I could be the next Aunt Zari if I want to because I have the height, the body, the face and everything they could say to me but I do not want it. I just love to be a photographer, fashion designer, architect someday or anything that were related about arts.

I locked the front door and went to the kitchen for some foods before I will go to my room. I opened the ref and see what we have in store.

My mom left me some lasagna and I took it out then reheat it into the microwave. It never took long and I started eating while thinking if I wear dress or not.

I finished my lasagna and washed my plate then rushed to my bedroom. I know I still have three hours before Cindy picks me up.

I lay on my bed thinking about the clothes I will be wearing tonight. I thought about it for a while before I grabbed my sketchpad from my bag.

I started drawing some designs not just clothes but something else too. Ever since I could remember, I really love to draw anything from clothes, houses, faces and so much more. It was just random thing that pop up inside my mind. I have separate pad on all of my drawings.

I want to design clothes more of it. Sometimes, I do not know what I prioritize first. I do not know what really, I will be going to master in college. I finished the last strokes on my pad before taking a shower.

I know I should be enjoying my senior year in high school just as Cindy said that I have to enjoy life and be free just once. Well, it is no harm if I will do it occasionally, right and it is Vince's party. And I know her boyfriend will not do bad things. I trust Cindy that she will always be with me. So, why not go for it tonight.

Wasting no time I rushed inside my bathroom, a quick shower will do.

I was searching for a few clothes to choose and decided to wear plain silver sexy scoop top and black godet skirt then silver peep toe flat shoes. I do not want to wear heels since I do not need to.

I put some face powder then light lipstick, a little splash of my favorite body spray FRENCH LAVENDER & HONEY.

I grabbed my phone wallet with some bills on it. I do not worry my house keys because it was high tech door locking systems. Passcodes we were using.

I was done, ready to go. I went downstairs to wait for Cindy. In any minutes, she will be here in no time. I did some exhale inhale exercises. I have to be calm for tonight just like Cindy said enjoy our senior year. I hope...

While waiting, it came to mind about Eian. Since that incident, we never talk or being close except about our lessons. We were both kind of distancing more than before.

Tonight, it is going to be different. Eian is going to be there since Vince is his best friend. I could not escape from him. Suck the awkwardness. Cindy is the only closest friend I have.

I know Vince was nice. I spend quite a while with him too when Cindy brought him with her. I found him totally in love with my best friend. Well, they were both are.

Doorbell sounds in the front door. That was my clue that we are going. Opening it, I saw a stunning Cindy. She is super attractive with the choice of dress she wore. I am sure Vince would be all over her.

"Hey, you look gorgeous, Sky." Cindy complimented me. "You should wear something like that more often." She added.

Shaking my head with rolling eyes at the same time with her words on me.

"That's ridiculous. I don't think so." I replied. "Maybe not often but occasionally."

"Well, if you say so but if you do it more. You will get a boyfriend soon." Grinning at me.

"Urrggh! Cut it off, in love girl." I said laughing as we headed out.
