CHAPTER 35: DOUBLE CELEBRATIONS

I could not absorb everything what just happen this day. Graduation Day was all I was in my mind. But never in mind sink in this wedding thing.

I may not have dream wedding in nor the wedding itself. However, things happened in my life were all unexpected.

We were sitting in our table facing the guests. Looking around seeing all of our loved ones were really here. My grandparents both paternal and maternal sides. My parent's siblings were all here. Even my grandma's brother Shane and his families were also here.

Everyone that I could not ever think we're here. I never thought it just a simple close event. But seeing them now here to witness our wedding was enough for me to feel that they love me.

"Let's go and greet our grandparents." I whispered to Eian after I have done eating and so does, he.

I want to feel the embrace of each one of my loved ones. It is rare to gather something like this.

"Okay! But are you comfortable with your attire? I can get you to change." Eian was even sweeter now that we are married.

"Yes please! I want to take off my wedge. It feels uncomfortable walking on it." I complained.

"You want to wear sneakers?" I nodded. "Okay!" He took off my wedge and I took off the ball gown skirt too.

Before he left, he kissed me first. I smiled, following my eyes on my husband.

'Wow! Husband'

I was comfortably sitting on the couch when my mommy and Aunt Zari joined me.

"Hey! Skylar!" Aunt Zari said. "You love my gifts?"

I nodded with matching thumbs up signed. "Superb! Thanks Aunt!"

My maternal grandma Shay joined us. She sat beside me.

"Oh dear, you look so blooming today." She said as she put her hand on my tummy.

"Thanks grandma! Thank you for coming here too." I hugged her.

"Well, I now know who follows Mom in our clan." Aunt Zari laughed. I confused.

"Yeah right!" Grandma Shay rolled her eyes.

"Yeah! The difference is it breaks her record thou." Mom chuckled.

"What we mean is you, Skylar." Aunt Zari explained. "Your grandma did the same after she graduated college. Wedded next but you and Eian were earlier."

I laughed. "Really?"

"Yes, my Sky. Just like you, I married on the same day of my graduation." Grandma giggled. "Double celebrations. But mine was not a surprise thou. We both planned ahead."

"Really? I haven't heard that." I laughed. Grandma nodded.

"So, whatever happens do not go to bed with misunderstanding. Talk with each other. Hear what each other thoughts. Same as you, Eian." Grandma Shay said.

I did not even notice Eian's presence if she did not mention it.

"Yes, grandma!" Eian replied as he kneeled down to put on my sneakers. He squatted down on the floor beside me.

"It is not the age that matters. It is between two persons how to handle it." Mom added.

"Every people have different problems. We all have our fights inside our home but it should be fix inside that home." Aunt Zari said. "You two, will always remember why you two reach this level. It is because of love to one another."

We nodded as Eian squeezed my hand gently.

It was a warm feel that my grandma, mom and aunt cares for the two of us. I will follow their advices. It helps our married life in some point. Even Aunt George, I mean Mommy George told us to have patience and understand. That married life is real. Divorce in the family is not acceptable.

"Besh, I cannot believe you are married. But I am happy for you two." Cindy said as we were now in my room already.

I changed into a casual attire now. They told us we will go somewhere for two nights for our honeymoon. I do not know where but it definitely not outside the state.

"Me too but...." I paused. "What is that?" Pointing my finger to her hand. Raising my eyebrow, smirking.

Cindy bites her lips. "He also proposed to me before we came her." She said shyly.

I hugged her then pushed her away. "But you are not pregnant." I spoke.

"No, of course, no. We have to finish college first." Cindy said. "We were going to get married before Christmas. I told him just a simple wedding will be fine." I smiled.

Eian once told me that Vince has been aiming to be with Cindy for a long time. He did not expect that she would be his. I am happy for them too. And not just that, we were going to be in the same school.

We said our goodbyes to them. To our parents, our siblings and our friends. A car with a driver waiting for us in front.

"Enjoy your honeymoon." My mom said.

I shook my head because we will only be gone for two days. I am not really excited because I am a little bit tired the whole day events. I need sleep, a very good night sleep.

As soon as we were on the road I keep on yawning.

"You sleep first, sweet. I will wake you up once we arrived. You look exhausted and keep on yawning." Eian said as he played my hair. I was leaning in his chest. "Our baby needs it too." He reminded me.

My eyes could not stop from closing so within those seconds I was totally drifted.

Waking up in a soft linen bed. I totally opened my eyes to roam around. It was so beautiful. I must be really dead last night that I totally was not aware. Eian must carried the heavy me in here. I looked at my side it was empty.

I got up slowly to reach the bathroom. I wore silk night gown. Eian even changed my clothes too. Shaking my head to wash myself before heading out.

I want to spend my time with Eian. It is our honeymoon that we should spend just the two of us.

I want to see where are we right now. It was Eian's parents who gifted this honeymoon.

I stopped thinking and do my thing. I am starving already.
