Hashira second meeting; Summoned

Demon slayer HQ…

.

Outside the main dojo of the demon slayer HQ, the Hashira stood silently, as the atmosphere seemed to radiate feelings of unrestrained anger and fear.

In their midst was an injured Water and Insect Hashira, who were being supported by their fellow swordsmen.

"My children." Their master, Kagaya Ubayashiki walked out of the dojo was an unfamiliar expression on his face. A mix of anger and fear, fear that he had not even felt even at the name of the king of demons, Muzan Kibutsuji.

"I came with grave news. Our deepest fears have been confirmed. Ryoumen Sukuna is back!"

Although the other Hashira had heard it from Giyuu and Shinobu, it carried a massive impact when it came from their master.

"How is this possible?" The white haired wind Hashira, Sanemi Shinazugawa, with a menacing scar on his nose , dressed in his unbuttoned uniform and a white shirt coat that was rolled up to his sleeves roared in disbelief.

"Master. The prospect of reincarnation has been nigh unachievable since the beginning of time. How is it possible that this guy had been able to make it a reality?!"

Mitsuri, the love Hashira with rainbow coloured hair couldn't help but comment with a surprised expression.

"You said it yourself, Mitsuri. It's nigh unachievable, but for someone as powerful as my ancestor, in as much as I hate to admit it, everything is possible for someone like him."

Kagaya sighed and raised his gaze to the sky, remembering how Sukuna had toyed with two Hashiras, talented demon slayer and a member of the twelve Kisuki, even though he wasn't even being serious.

He had only chosen to show himself at the last minute to determine the level of strength Sukuna had.

"How he reincarnated isn't important right now! We need to know how strong he is and whether he'll oppose us in our fight against the demons!"

The flame Hashira, Rengoku clenched his sword tightly and spoke with fiery eyes.

"I couldn't figure out his intentions, but I can tell that he views anyone weaker than him like an ant to be toyed with. Concerning his strength, I believe that even with all of us combined, he might still be able to win…"

Giyuu answered the question while the memories of his fight with the king of curses flashed within his mind.

Even Shinobu couldn't help but sigh as she remembered how Sukuna was able to shrug off one of her most powerful poisons like it was nothing, and how he thrashed the two of them around. For a moment there, she questioned whether she had really become as strong as she had promised to become.

"As for his intentions, Sukuna is the type of person who just wants to see the world burn. Rather than oppose the demon slayer corps, I'd say that he opposes both demons and demon slayers and would not hesitate at the chance to take all of us out to achieve world domination."

A voice suddenly spoke from behind, and the Hashira turned only to see a wine haired young boy dressed in demon slayer uniform with a green and black Komodo over it. On his back was a reddish wooden box, from which a demonic aura continuously emanated.

"It's him?"

Sanemi instantly unsheathed his sword and blasted forward with its immense speed, wanting to instantly decapitate the traitor of the demon slayer corps in his eyes, the one who had cooperated with Sukuna.

Before his sword could reach, Giyuu moved and blocked shielded Tanjiro's body with his own, entering a stalemate with the wind Hashira.

"What are you doing?!" Giyuu roared out as his injuries flared up.

"Out of my way Giyuu! This traitor has to die!!" Sanemi roared in fury.

"If he was truly a traitor, so you think he'd still be alive right now?!" Giyuu retorted back. The usually calm and composed disposition was now replaced by a raging fury, like the ocean during a storm.

"What about the demon he carries with him? Isn't it forbidden for demon slayers to do what he does?!!"

Sanemi roared out and increased the strength on his grip, however Giyuu's eyes remained on him.

"Stand down Sanemi. This isn't the time for this." Kagaya suddenly spoke, as Sanemi snarled and went back to his position.

"We need to be united at this point. Sukuna has declared war on us. And we'll need every single resource to defeat him!" Kagaya nearly raised his voice, as all the Hashira lowered their heads.

"Tanjiro is the only person here who has ever seen both Sukuna and Muzan Kibutsuji and is still alive. We need him!" Kagaya declared.

"Concerning Sukuna's strength, Giyuu is right that even if all of you ganged up on him now, he might win, however that's not the complete truth. The current Sukuna isn't even at half of his true strength."

"What?!!!"

At this point everyone was shocked at Kagaya's words, and looked at each other in disbelief.

"How is this possible?!!" Even Gyomei Himejima, and Muichiro Tokito, the stone and Mist Hashira who were the most composed of all the Hashira couldn't help but turn their heads towards their master upon hearing this, while Rengoku roared in shock.

"On the day I met Sukuna, he killed my sister and I, and then revived us through unknown means. He then instructed me to gather his fingers which contained fragments of his soul, and power, which were 20 in number. But since Sukuna had already swallowed one, there were 19 left to be found.

I was able to gather 3 more, so Sukuna is more or likely at five fingers of power. He might've found more on his own or not, but the fact that he still sent me out to gather them tells me that there are still majority of his fingers out there that need to be collected.."

Tanjiro took the stage and answered everything to the best of his ability, leaving the Hashira in deep thought.

'No no! A five finger Sukuna was able to toy with Shinobu and I like we were nothing. How powerful will a 20 fingers Sukuna be?!'

Giyuu's thoughts were in complete disarray. For the first time in a few years, he felt like a weakling, an ant that could be trampled on by the strong, and he hated that feeling.

"Master. Is it truly hopeless? Are we really going to lose against this demon? We can't let him prevail. What about those defenceless humans and animals, how will they survive if we lose?" Gyomei placed his palms together, as a tear dripped down his cheek.

"It isn't completely hopeless Gyomei. Like I explained to you previously, there's a chance to take him down."

Kagaya spoke and gestured to his daughters who brought out multiple scrolls from inside the dojo.

"There are two ways to take down Ryoumen Sukuna, and Gyomei and I have already discussed them, but I wanted the votes of the whole house on this. The first way is to figure out the secret to Sukuna's reincarnation and use that to bring back Yoriichi Tsugikuni from the dead.."

Everyone gasped at his proclaim, but he took in a breath and continued.

"The second method is a bit more practical. Now, the ancestors of my clan were all born with a natural bloodline that granted immense strength. However records say that the only child to not awaken the bloodline was a son of the clan leader, who was then ostracised by the entire clan, tortured and nearly killed, but he managed to survive somehow and escaped. That child went on to establish what would become a power system known as Jujutsu, from which our very own Yoriichi derived his sun breathing from. With the power at his disposal, he nearly destroyed the clan, and took over it.

His teachings of Jujutsu however were shunned by society and hid upon his death. That child was Ryoumen Sukuna, and his teachings of Jujutsu have been found…by me!"

Gesturing to his daughters, the hoisted the scrolls up, so all the Hashira could see.

"If we manage to decipher true Jujutsu, we might be able to grasp the secrets to the power of Sukuna and the way to bring him down!"

Kagaya spoke as light returned to the eyes of Hashira.

Meanwhile, the king of curses appeared in front of his mansion like a ghost, only for him to frown, seeing the state of his abode.

It was nearly half destroyed, with some parts ruined by sharp blade marks.

"Someone dares to destroy my abode? How brazen.."

He chuckled, placed his hands in his pockets and walked in with a smirk, only to be met with Tamayo who was covered in blood with arms slashed off, as she tried her best to crawl away from the two monsters behind her.

She crawled further away until she saw a figure which made her pause, as tears streamed down her face.

"My Lord.."

She lowered her head, seeing Sukuna's apathetic and judging gaze.

"You must be Ryoumen Sukuna. Lord Nizan has requested your presence hehehe."

A green skinned, slim, messy haired demon spoke with a zombie like face, holding onto two sharp sickles in his hands.

"You can come with us quietly, handsome, or end up like your servant over there!" By him, a female demon with long white hair spoke with a mischievous laugh.

"If the two of you already know who I am, then why aren't you grovelling at my feet?"

As Sukuna spoke, his overwhelming aura burst out of his body with every step he took, as an immense pressure descended.

'This pressure? He's so strong!!'

The green skinned demon, Gyutaro, tightened his grip on his twin sickles and glared at Sukuna while readying himself for battle.

"You dare defy us? We are members of the twelve Kisuki. My brother is an upper moon! You better give up!"

Beside Gyutaro, Daki his sister roared out, as sleeves burst out of behind her, as if they had minds if their own.

"Your gaze sits too high.."

Sukuna smirked and merely glanced at Daki as an uncountable number of invisible slashes swept out in an instant, dissecting and cleaving her body into thousands of cubes which exploded in an instant, as blood burst out and covered a completely stunned Gyutaro.
