Brian's POV

The minute I work up I requested to go see how Candy was doing but the doctors won't allow me because they think I'm still not out of danger. I laid on the bed frustrated and soon fell asleep.

Candy's POV

The kind nurse wheeled me into his room. He was breathing with the aid of an Oxygen support machine. I felt bad for him and went closer to him admiring his features. I raked my fingers through his soft jet black hair. His hair is so long and silky. I brought my hands down a little and touched his eyebrows and traced my finger down to his nose.

I was marvelled at how pointed it was and how well it fits his face. I was about to touch his lips when his eyes suddenly opened and there was that smirk on his face. I was embarrassed and turned red instantly. In order to avoid his gaze, I started yelling "Call the doctor, he's awake".

PS: I didn't know he had woken up since and was just asleep.

He looked confused and asked "Hey, Why are you calling for the doctor?". I looked at him and replied "You're just waking up, the doctor needs to check you and be sure you're okay". He smiled and said calmly "I woke up about an hour ago and I was just asleep before you came and started admiring me. I turned red instantly and replied stammering "No, I...I wasn't admiring you. I... I... I...".

"You what...?"he said interrupting me with a questioning look on his face. I bent my head and finally said "I was trying to kill a bug on your face". "I see, such an interesting bug killer you are little girl" he said with an unbelieving look on his face.

I immediately said to change the topic "How are you feeling?" He laid back on the bed, facing the ceiling and said "I'm much better. What about you? How are you doing?". I answered casually "I'm okay I guess".

There was a moment of silence before he suddenly said looking me in the eyes "Candy, I've been a very bad person to you, I have hurt you and I don't really deserve your forgiveness but I just wanted to say I'm sorry once again". I looked at him and I could see the sincerity in his eyes so I said "I have forgiven you Brian, let's just be friends from now on okay?".

He sighed in relief and looked at me smiling. "So now I'm your boyfriend right?" He said teasing me. "Of course not, you're annoying" I said and opened my eyes widely. "Hey, I meant a boy that is your friend. What were you thinking huh?" He said with a smirk. I blushed hard and hit him on the arm before the door opened and someone walked in.
