Chapter 29
We filmed all day and luckily, I made only one mistake through out the entire shoot. I got back to my room exhausted. Gwen had been really helpful and actually a great mental and moral support to me. she was often bullied for being my assistant, but she always defended me each time I was bad mouthed and she actually helped me manage my time and sort out difficulties I had in filming. She even helped me run lines at times. I planned to take her out after the whole filming is done to appreciate her a little. It felt like I had a close friend with her around.
Anthony called and he asked about how things has been going, I told him all was well and he shouldn't worry. He reminded me I should be in my best behavior and avoid any scandals. He gave me the long talk as usual. I wonder why he's so certain I'll do something bad that'd embarrass him. If he's not sure of my character he should probably go find someone else to play this game with him. Thinking back, it's quite understandable why he'd think like this. This nutjob still sees my as an ex-stalker after all.
We were already done with our filming in C city so we headed back to X city. The production team gave me two days break to cool off and relax a bit. I was too exhausted to even hang out with Emily when I returned. Luckily, she decided to hang at my place where we just binge series and munched on snacks for my entire break.
Soon, the break came to an end and we were back to filming. Martin already arranged my schedule and the director was already aware of it as I had to run from one shooting location to another. I was fully booked this month because Martin greedily accepted all the high paying jobs thrown at us. I had to meet up with Anthony once in a while to get more sneak pics taken. I also had to engage my followers on all social media platforms for more social media presence, I still got hate messages though, but my fanbase was quite strong. It was new and probably didn't have alot of loyalist but at least, they defended me from the antifans. Most of my loyal fans were the ones I got after starring in Endless as a ghost. They praised my acting since then and wished I was casted for better roles and now I finally am and they are happy and anticipate my future performance. I surely would not disappoint them. Other fans are those I got from my rumoured dating with Anthony. They think I am pretty, which obviously I am, and they got curious and started digging for works I've been on, they say I deserve more roles and opportunity because finally my acting is getting recognition. While the majority of my haters steamed from my relationship rumours and they think I'm not that pretty and don't deserve to be with their perfect Anthony. Some believe I'm clout chasing which obviously I am, and they claim to detest such kind of girls who try to create relationship rumours with powerful men. But to be fair, I'm not the one who initiated the rumours in the first place. Some fans had vowed to find out the truth as more pictures had been leaked online over the past few days. My most loyal haters, were the Anthony and Chantel supporters who sees me as a vixen and a fox demon seducing the beloved Anthony and making him leave the perfect and pure Chantel, I've even seen edits of me as a fox online. It's quite childish to be honest. But in the midst of all this, I was making alot of money and building my fame too. I've long known that not everyone can like me, I don't even like everyone, so all I needed to do was keep playing my game well, and when the one year contract is over, my name will still be remembered even without the Triple gangs support.
It was already time as Richmond had suggested that our relationship goes officially public. They already had a plan. According to what had been arranged, I was going to go live to talk about how things were with filming and stuffs as I had already announced a few days back. So when I'm live, Anthony is going to walk pass in the background pretending not to be aware that I was live and I'll pretend not to notice him in the background until people watching the live sees him and starts commenting about it, then I'll act shocked and quickly end the live. When things gets trending online as usual, Richmond is going to make a post saying "you're finally caught" and tags Anthony and Scott is going to like the post and reply "it's been so long already''. Then Anthony is going to finally officially announce things during the interview for the launch of the new phones his company made, which is going to be exactly the next day. Obviously, reporters are not going to ask questions about the phones but the dating rumours. So this was our plan and we carried it out as we had planned. Richmond said this whole plan depended on my acting. I needed to look really shocked and Anthony also needed to act well too. We practiced for a while before we decided to do it for real. I did the live in my room and Anthony majestically walked into the room as planned, I noticed and ended the live. Richmond and Scott did their part as well. Emily also helped out by liking the post and also posting a "finally" on her IG story with smiley face emoji. The next day, Anthony went for the launch and as we had predicted, the reporters only asked a few questions about the phones and more about Anthony's relationship with me which he officially confirmed. This was it, the plan was finally coming together. it was my time to officially start this charade.
