It’s Okay

The sun was shining.

Fukashi couldn't get the glare out of his eyes as the sun kept shining. The black suit he was wearing was tight and uncomfortable but he was wearing it for a reason.

A woman approached him, she had short brown hair and was wearing a black dress. She was short and had a large fedora in her hand.

She noticed his eyes pause on the giant fedora and smiled "It's my fathers" she said as if it explained it all "He's an odd man" she laughed slightly as she fiddled with the hat and looked back at him.

The sun was in his eyes again.

He closed his eyes and wiped them to get rid of the glare before focusing back onto the woman. "How did you know Akira?" She asked.

He didn't respond for a while as his adams apple bobbed and he clenched his eyes shut. "You're the kid he looked after?" Fukashi only nodded, he didn't even open his eyes as he did.

"It's good to finally meet you" she said "When me and Akira were together I sadly never did, but-but" her voice faltered. He opened his eyes and his coal black met her honey ones.

She suddenly gave him a heart warming smile "But you were very important to him, he mentioned you a lot" her smile was sincere and her eyes were filled with tears.

He felt the glare of the sun reach his eyes again.

He rubbed his eyes and felt them widen when the woman lifted the fedora in her hands to block the sun. "It should be raining or at least cloudy shouldn't it" she said as she looked back towards the small grave.

"Y-yeah" he said his voice was scratchy as he looked down at his feet.

"Anyway it was good to meet you" she said with a smile as she walked off towards a larger group of people behind him.

He didn't recognise a single one of them.

The sun was in his face again.

He felt a snarl forming on his face.

These people, they were ignorant bastards! Just scuttling around like insects all unaware of why and how Akira died.

They were all non sorcerers.

His snarl only grew, why did no other sorcerer attend.

Until it was suddenly blocked again, he looked back confused only to see a giant man. He must have been taller than even Gojo but a lot wider as he wore a tight black suit that looked quite expensive.

"Sorry about my daughter" his voice was deep as he met eyes with the far shorter teenager. His eyes were a deep brown that showed zero emotion to the teenager.

Fukashi didn't reply and looked back over to the grave. The snarl was still present.

"Are you the boy Akira looked after?" His voice seemed to pierce Fukashis soul. Fukashi nodded, he was already getting tired of that question. "That's good, my name is Arata Ito"

"Fukashi Uchiha" he replied, he wasn't even really listening to the conversation as he was more focused on the grave in front of him.

"I know there is not anything I can say that will help, I lost my father when I was young aswel-"

"He's not my father" Fukashi interrupted.

The older man chuckled "Well, I guess not but I know that he truly did care for you" Fukashi snarled, did they not think he knew that he was about to voice his annoyance but the man kept speaking "He would regularly come to me asking for advice on how I raised my daughter, he never had a father of his own"

Fukashis fists clenched and he felt every muscle in his body tense the damn sun was in his eyes again.

The old man chuckled slowly "I saw Akira as a son of my own even after my daughter and he split I regularly tried my best to stay in contact" he chuckled again.

The man jolted as if he was struck as he chuckled loudly "One time he and my daughter tried to go on vacation to Fran-"

Fukashi spoke with a vicious tone "I don't want to hear about this! Akiras dead and you're talking about a vacation!" He hissed to the older man.

The damn sun kept pissing him off.

"You are at a funeral" The older man said with a calm tone, Fukashi looked up at the man who placed his hand on his trembling shoulder "It's okay to cry"

Fukashis snarl only grew who did this fool think-think he was. He raised his clenched fist and felt like disembowelling this man.

Fukashi met the man's warm eyes and looked away, he placed a hand over his mouth and tried to hold everything in.

His attempt snowballed quickly, it started with just a whimper making it past his lips before they were bombarded with uncontrollable sobs. He placed an open palm against his chest and curled around it as the older man started to pat his back.

"Makis awake" Megumi said from behind him, they were staying in Jujutsu High and were recuperating Sorcerers for some sort of plan.

Fukashis had his mind occupied, he didn't care for any plans.

Fukashi hummed as his eyes were focused on a bump in the room's wall. The black suit he wore to the funeral was half undone with the messy tie hanging around his neck.

He thought about it for a while before standing up with a sigh. He slowly dawdled his way towards the hospital wing room with Maki in.

He hasn't seen her since that day.

The memories of that day constantly ran through his head, the fight with Toji, Makis body set aflame and then-

He shook his head and knocked on the thin door to Makis' room. He heard a barely muffled voice call out "Open" he sighed and opened the door with a creak.

Maki was still on her bed. She had a bandage covering half her face and she looked tired. He didn't know what to say.

Eventually he thought back to Akiras words about dreams. "What's your favourite food?" He asked with slouched shoulders and tired eyes.

"Huh" she definitely wasn't expecting that but her answer was quick. "Junk food" she answered with a shrug.

Fukashi turned and walked out of the room ignoring another confused "'huh" that came from the girl and made his way through the assortments of buildings. He eventually came to the main exit only to see Yuki there.

"Where you going?" she said with a yawn as she stretched he just nodded and walked out the gate.

"That didn't explain anything!" She shouted from the gate as he left.

Eventually he came back with 2 bags full of takeaway food and another 2 bags filled with food from the closest store.

He threw a burger towards the once again yawning Yuki who caught it with a yelp and a muffled thanks.

He came across Megumi and threw a burger at him as well, he nodded towards him in thanks. He eventually made it back to the hospital wing and entered Makis private room with a yawn making its way up his throat.

Makis' closed eye peeked open when the door opened and widened as a burger came flying towards her face, she caught it with a wince.

He sat down in the visitors chair and left a bag of the food on her bedside table and undid the tinfoil wrapping around his burger and took a bite.

He leaned back into the comfortable chair as he took another bite. "Loads of food in there, burgers, curry, pizza pretty much everything" he said as he took another bite.

She slowly unwrapped the foil around the burger and took her own bite. "Why?" She asked as she hungrily took another bite.

He pointed towards his chest "When I got this" he said referring to the scar "and woke up, I was pretty hungry." He took another bite. "So I'm guessing you are as well right?" She nodded before taking another bite. He put the other two bags filled with drinks and cold food on the ground.

He probably got a bit too much food.

"Thanks" it was muffled as she went to take another bite but he heard it.

"Hey, what's your birthday?"
