Chapter 7

Inside the huge training ground of the jujutsu school, bang sounds can be heard throughout the whole training ground.

"Maki, try harder will you~" Shigaraki teased as his eyes looked at Maki, She was trying to hit him, but after absorbing the cursed spirit a week ago, he had become much faster than her.

"Easy for you to say" Maki muttered under her breath as she tried to hit Shigaraki, this went on for 3 minutes before Maki stopped.

Shigaraki stopped and looked at Maki in question, she was not sad, but he could tell that something was bothering her, Shigaraki walked up to her and he smiled.

"What's wrong?" Shigaraki asked Maki, She looked at Shigaraki and sighed, she felt like she was getting further and further from him.

"Well if you want to know so much, I will tell you," Maki said and she walked towards a bench that was next to the training ground, Shigaraki followed her and they sat on the bench.

"You must be able to tell that I have an abysmal amount of cursed energy in my body, because of that I got heightened physical prowess, but it still does not matter..." Maki said while looking down at the ground.

She may act like she does not care if she has cursed energy, but the reality is that she can only see the curses with glasses, if the glasses break during a fight then she is done for.

"Maki, what would you do if I said I can take away all of your cursed energy, and it may bring an effect on you?" Shigaraki smiled and he wrapped his arm around her shoulder, Maki looked at him in confusion.

"take my cursed energy? and how would you do that?" Maki asked sarcastically as she looked at Shigaraki, He smirked before getting closer to her face.

"What I am about to say is top secret~, so you must not tell anyone" Shigaraki whispered into her ear, Maki shuddered as she realized that a pervert was whispering in her ear.

"The truth is... that I can absorb the cursed energy of anyone I touch" Shigaraki smiled as he saw the shocked look on Her face, he licked his lips just thinking of how she would react to his real power.

"Can you really do that?" Maki said with a shaky voice as she looked at Shigaraki, she wanted cursed energy, but she had a gut feeling that she should allow him to take her remaining cursed energy away.

"Do you want me to?" Shigaraki said as he looked away from her, it was her choice if she wanted that, he was not going to force her to do it.

Maki sat there for a few minutes, she went through all the cons and pros of this, and in the end, she realized that her cursed energy was not even as good as a normal person's.

"Do it" Maki said as she looked at Shigaraki, her voice was determined and she had a light in her eyes as she decided on what she wanted to do, it was not like she was getting help from cursed energy.

"But, I need a little kissy on here~" Shigaraki smirked as Maki became flustered, he pointed to his left cheek and smiled as he pushed his cheek closer, Maki clenched her fists and was about to punch him when she stopped.

"Fine!" She said and she gave a quick peck on his cheek, Shigaraki smirked before he pulled her closer, He put his palm on her head and her cursed energy was instantly stolen from her.

Boom!

Suddenly the sky above the school changed, and dark clouds started gathering just above the 2 of them, Shigaraki suddenly felt his hair stand up, his eyes widened and he looked up, all he saw was a flash before he felt nothing.

Boom!

"Oh God did a lightning bolt just almost strike me!" Shigaraki looked at the bench in shock, his palm was drenched in sweat and his heart started beating at a hundred mile per minute.

"Shigaraki, are you okay?" Maki looks at Shigaraki in her arms in worry, Shigarki looks at Maki and he smiles as he looks at how he is in her arms.

"my princess in shining armor~. you saved me, you deserve a kiss as a reward~" Shigaraki closed his eyes and he slowly moved his lips to Maki, his lips stretched out.

"Uff!" Shigaraki was dropped onto the floor, Maki smirked as she looked down at him.

"Seems like you absorbing my cursed energy has made my body change in a way I did not anticipate," Maki said as she clenched her fist, she looked at the bench which was set on fire from the lightning.

"I mean, you did just dodge lightning with me in your hands," Shigaraki said as he stood up from the floor, he looked towards the sky and he saw the clouds that gathered slowly dispersing.

Yeah, what you say about doing a test drive~" Maki looked at Shigaraki and she squinted her eyes, Shigaraki smirked and he swiped his hand at her sending an acid rope at her head.

[ Kyoto school ]

A group of students are currently walking to the training ground, they are getting ready for the goodwill event that is coming up.

"So Mai, what are you gonna do at the goodwill event, fight Maki?" A blonde loli on a broom asked another girl with short hair and a pistol on her hip.

"Maybe- Agh!" Mai smiled and she was about to speak when a huge amount of pain impacted her body, she collapsed onto the floor and she shouted out in pain.

"Mai!" The blond loli was about to go help her when a bid hand stopped her.

"Wait" Todo looked at Mai and he smirked, he felt her cursed energy grow by leaps and bounds, it soon surpassed even his.

"Interesting~"

[ with Maki and Shigaraki ]

Boom!

"Oh shit!" Shigaraki made a tentacle appear in front of the hit to resist Maki's punch, but her fist just made the tentacle burst into blood before her fist impacted the right side of Shigaraki's shoulder.

"UGH!" Shigaraki flew out onto the floor and he continued sliding on the ground until he stopped, leaving a large and long ditch in the ground, Shigaraki groaned in pain as he felt the skin on his back get peeled up.

"Shigaraki!" Maki looked at the blood pooling under Shigaraki and she appeared next to him with worry, she lifted him up and she was shocked to see his back with barely any skin on it.

"Don't worry, I will heal" Shigaraki said and he turned around with sluggish movement, Maki watched as the skin left on his back moved and connected with each other, soon becoming new and covering the wound.

"Thank god" Maki muttered with relief in her voice, Shigaraki turned around and looked at her, and with a glint in his eyes, he walked to her and embraced her in a hug.

"That hurt, what are you gonna do to pay me back~," Shigaraki asked teasingly as he embraced Maki, She looked at Shigaraki and rolled her eyes in annoyance.

"Here," Maki said and she kissed his cheek, Shigaraki smirked before letting her out of his embrace.

"Well I will forgive you this one time~," Shigaraki said as he looked at Maki, he walked towards another Bench and sat down.

"So what now?" Maki asked as she sat down next to Shigaraki, she was met with silence and looked to see Shigaraki sitting there silently, she was confused at his silence.

"What now?, we will train and keep living~," Shigaraki said as he relaxed, that not every second in his life has to be just fighting curses.

"I guess"
