Almost time

Two months have passed since the travel of the Martells beyond the wall. Eddard Stark is traveling to every house with Raizen to see progress in buildings, crops, and other things that need his concern.

Ned: "I still could not believe that the north can be as good as the south."

R: "No, the north is better. Better soldiers, army, water quality, food production, stronger castles, better hygiene, and other things. Just by the next generation or two, the south would be considered barbaric to the north."

Ned: "Why not give them the same things as the north?"

R: "Unlike the north, the southern kingdoms are divided. If I want to give them the luxury that you have, it would be either me being their sole ruler or other monarch having ties with you."

R: "No. Ned, I favor the north very much even though we both know that my roots didn't come from the north."

For now, my men there will hold them back as much as possible. I even kidnap the pyromancers from King's Landing including all the wildfire that they created to add to the defense."

Ned: "What about the dragon glass?"

R: "I already talked to Stannis before and mined some of it, most would be put to fortify defenses like coating spikes with dragon glass ar creating terrains covered with dragon glass shards. Any wights or white walker stepped on it will die immediately. But those preparations can only hold off two to three waves of them. My men can at least hold most of them before coming to the wall."

Ned nods with Raizen's plans and puts them in motion for the next two years. Raizen even took out his better-made Reaper Knights which numbers only a thousand. But this version has the strength of those earth profound cultivators. These will focus on killing the mutated wights because Raizen almost forgot about the flying mutants from resident evil. As for their equipment, they have clothes to make them fly. They also have a scythe to Qrow but instead of a gun that shoots bullets, it is modified as a railgun that is similar to the RE: Vendetta version. He scatters them in the coastline near the bear island, south of Hardhome, and to the right of the shadow tower to prevent the wights from crossing the sea. He did not forget the ancient tunnels like Samwell and Bran used in the series and block the entrance. He only needs the three in the castles to funnel the numbers of wights so that it will be easier to handle them.

Oberyn even said so and he become part of the small council after his nephew betrothed to Myrcella. He knows that she is just a bastard of Robert Baratheon but Raizen suggested it rather than killing the girl out of spite. Besides, he came to like the child and much so for Tommen because the two of them were very different from the other Lannisters.

Raizen didn't bother much with the southern kingdoms other than keeping them from killing each other by sabotaging their campaign to war. He already plans to use some of his items to prevent war from happening, at least for five hundred years. If Arthur Pendragon has Excaliber, he has a crown that can know everything in its domain and a seat to help the monarch rule. An army to follow just orders and men that will help with managing everything else. Well, what is left of it.

Just close to two years, the cities of former Slaver's Bay can be considered different after Daenerys started ruling from Meereen. If it was in the series, she would still be on in Yunkai but with Raizen's army and the draco exercitus, she has taken over the cities very easily. Not even the Second Son and Golden company wanted to continue antagonizing the army after cutting their size in half. In their last-ditch effort, the remaining masters decided to use the two sellsword companies to fight off Daenerys' army. The combined forces of the two are twenty-two thousand strong while Daenerys only has less than seventeen thousand including Raizen's men and the exercitus.

The masters thought they would be able to win since they have more men than the foreigner. Her dragons were still small and a few shots of arrows can kill the creatures. Even though they also heard the stories around the "Company of Rose", what can they do with war elephants trampling them on the battlefield?

Raizen is overlooking the city of Meereen from the highest pyramid. Daenerys was just finishing her meeting with the men and women that Raizen left to teach her about ruling a kingdom. After that, she stands beside him but instead of looking at her city, she is looking at the man beside her.

Dany: " How was it?"

R: "What?"

Dany: "Meereen, Yunkai and Astapor? I did follow the suggestion of your people about ruling the people. I gave the free people jobs based on their knowledge. Rebuild some parts of the three cities for them to live properly with their family. I get them to be educated by those who were more knowledgeable. Recreate the sewer system, promote hygiene, and do other things to help the people. Though we needed a lot of gold and what we got after the fight against the masters will help the three cities until the next year. The direct trade from the Starks also helps with the problem with gold because we can resell the items for a higher price without undermining our contract with them. As for the sustainability of the other cities without my direct control, lords were chosen from the remaining nobles and will manage them similar to what Meereen is currently undergoing."

R: "That is good to hear. There is sure a lot that you wanted to say about your ruling here, but I want to hear your answer. Do you still want to conquer Westeros?"

Dany: "A part of me wanted to go but that is because of the influence of my brother. With the help of Tyrion, I know how the people of Westeros think. At least for the most part and it will just hinder my rule. I might be only a queen for a few hours before someone kills me. Though it might be hard for them with Ser Jorah and Ser Barristan protecting me including the unsullied. Besides, I don't want to leave the people who love me. I could do more in here rather than being afraid every time to some conspiracy that will overthrow me from ruling Westeros."

R: "Are you sure that you don't want Westeros? With my help, your concerns would be no issue. If you wanted to, you can rule both Essos and Westeros as an empress."

Dany: "You know, Tyrion and I have the same conversation though it includes you marrying me. But I don't think you would like that."

R: "You are right, I won't like it. Marriage to gain power is like a betrayal to me. I prefer it that it is through love because some things about me would need unquestionable love from the other person."

Dany: "Does it also involves you wearing a mask?"

R: "Yes. Before our first meeting, I showed my face to one girl because I like her goals from the start but before coming here now, I erased her memory about me. I can just help with her even without directly being close to her."

Dany: "But, do you love her?"

R: "No, it's just my folly of being human. Anyway, I would have asked for your help with your dragons about the problem beyond the wall but you already decided to stay."

Dany: "I would still help and you can't change my mind about it."

R: "Alright then. When the time comes, let Tyrion manage your cities and take only a few of your unsullied to come with you."

Dany: "If you need men for that problem, why not include all my army?"

R: "If they all die in the battle, you won't have men that will keep the peace of your people. I know that some of the exercitus wanted to fight for you and I won't deny them of their choice but as ruler, you must always choose a better path for your people. Besides, preparations are already in place so it does not truly require the full force of Westeros and your army to fight. I prefer if you're unsullied prevent any more slavery to happen in your city than die easily against the dead."

Dany: "If you say so. Speaking of unsullied, most of my men were quite envy their brothers from your exercitus. Not only that they are far above in strength and speed, but they also have better equipment."

R: "Why envy them? I am not opposed to them telling the price to get that power and you probably know that they are what remains of the original three thousand after giving them a choice."

Dany: "What are these bottles for and why put my blood on the blue one?"

R: "I would not explain the details but it will give you and your people some benefits. The purple one is for you and only you. If you take it, you will be able to live for three hundred years at most."

Dany: "How is that possible?!"

R: "Let us just say it's magic and move on. Even though I said that you can live that long, you can still die though not by your enemies but by yourself. I know the disadvantage of long life so I can only grant you a portion of it. Not only that, but it will also cure your illness of madness that came from your bloodline and other complications so that you can still have another child."

Dany: "Really?! Thank you! How about the two?"

R: "The blue one is for Jorah, Barristan, and your army. It will give them the strength that they need to protect you and your people but not as much as to the level of the exercitus. Dany: "I understand, what of the red?"

Just before Raizen could explain, Jorah and Barristan came at this moment.

R: "Perfect, you two are here. The two of you pledge your allegiance to Daenerys to be her queen's guard. But let's face it, you two are already old, especially you Barristan."

Barr: "Even so, I can still protect the queen at my age."

R: "I don't doubt it. Though it would be better if the two of you were in your prime."

Raizen gave the two red bottles to Jorah and Barristan. The two of them looked at Daenerys and gave her a nod to them. They drink the bottles and it did not even take two minutes for the results to appear. Jorah's appearance looks like he regresses to his early twenties and as for Barristan, he doesn't look beyond thirty.

Barr: "I feel younger."

R: "Because you are."

Raizen give him a mirror to look at himself which made him and the other two shocked. Jorah didn't need to look at the mirror to know what happened to him. After checking for any more surprises, the three of them look at Raizen for some answers.

R: "As I said, it will be better if you two were in your prime. That is what the red liquid does. It returns you to the age where you were at your best. Though it seems that you regress differently. Now you need to take two direct drops from the blue liquid to gain strength. Directly having it rather than diluting it in water will benefit you more than the unsullied. Can't have the queen's guard being at the same level as them. For the explanation, Daenerys will do that in my stead. Hahaha... I just remember if I feel like it, I would give Tyrion a growth potion to increase his height. Don't tell him that. Hahaha!"

Raizen left the three of them while laughing. While they prepare the drinks for the unsullied, he went towards the camp of his exercitus. When he arrived there, he saw the former army of unsullied having a group match with their other brothers from Daenerys' army. They were probably teaching them what they learned from his original army.

Raizen also notices that all of them have some white shades in their armor and some have more white parts than most. Just like he said, the color of their armor will change to white after protecting the people but he did not say that it will just balance their karma so that when they die, they will have a better chance of a good life in their next one.

R: "Exercitus! Formation!

It didn't even take a minute before all the men lined up in front of him. The unsullied stay to watch their brethren and see what is going to happen.

R: "I heard from Queen Daenerys that some of you wanted to follow her. Did you know, if I didn't claim you at that time in Astapor, you and the fallen ones would have been part of the army? Now a choice is again presented before you. You either follow her or continue following me. Though remember this, just because decided to follow her, does not mean you are free from your first choice. Based on the colors of your armor, I would say that it will only take a couple of decades before you are free of your burden. Now, I don't want to lengthen this, so. If you want to follow her, move two-step to the left!"

Maybe it was fate fixing its course because all of them did the order at the same time. Raizen acknowledges their choice and talks about it with Daenerys.
