Just finished reading chapter three. it's a good novel. let's start with writing skills, have to say author did a good job and compared to previous novels, he improved nonetheless. However, while writing seemed monotonous, I recommend author to read more of this genre novels so that you would get typical terminology and terms used in magic realism. While, demonic god novel didn't have good start, cliche I am talking about, I can see, the number of eastern fantasy novels author read as he knew how the cultivation world works and how people thinks. But here, it seems little surreal. Not gonna deny that, this one has good start but little research would bring great changes. Second, I didn't know how author planned this novel, since Mc is only 10 and it's coming-of-age novel, character growth is important aspect to keep tabs on. I guess, author knew what to do. Here are the two novels that has great character development: -The second coming of gluttony. -Lord of mysteries. I am gonna end it here, I can only so much from three chapters. However, I can smell promising future for this novel having nice start. Supposing, it's in WSA, if you pull right strings, you might top other novels, securing good seat. All alright, I did read 100 chapters, since I don't have that many coins I continued with free passes, anyway the story is good, to not spoil the story ill just say that if you are a fan of killing, dark, murder... novels, then this story is for you, I dropped it because I found it kind of depressing, you see I'm a man of emotion, I can't hide them, I just can't be close about it, don't get me wrong, be it the world-building, the characters, the plot everything is good, but it's just not for me, it's just that I get rapidly and deeply influenced. like I always say, writing a novel or a book is hard, transforming what you imagine in your head into words is harder, adjusting the plot is the hardest, good job author
I’ll start from the beggining, the story comes in with a good concept and passable execution. The powers are original, the character development is great, until You hit around ch.100. Everything goes trash, the author starts making smart characters dumb and dumb characters smart just to create a plot point, btw the plot point is trash and ruins the series for me. This happens a lot through the series, some bad plot point gets shown and you want to drop the series, I fought through at least 3, but the one that happens in ch.184 just ruined this for me forever.
This book is gonna be interesting 😃 The emotions among characters has been well written this time comparing to your other books! Hopefully, you will rock this time once more and for the readers, keep voting to support this book. That's the most, you can help the author to aim his goal in this spirity. I am certain that this will be another amazing great work from a great author of Divinity and Rise. Early chapters were so intriguing, making me feel different emotions for the MC. I was hooked right away. Looking forward to what will happen to our dear MC. I know this will be a roller coaster ride, filled with exciting journey. All the best in the spirity author-san! Will definitely support you. Keep it up.
honestly just read it. it's THAT good. and this comes from someone who's willing to pay quite of an amount of money to pay for privilige and read 30 chapters ahead of everyone else (honestly i still teared up thinking about it because it came from my own salary and not my pocket money). but yeah i regret nothing really (and i've spent worse). because it is worth it. the updates so far have been great and consistent. 2 chapters every day, with bonus chapters occasionally. so yeah don't forget to give those power stones if you want more chapters. the writing quality is also alright. not shakespeare level because i don't think it would fit this book anyway lol. but yeah it's good and understandable. some typos and errors here and there, but VERY VERY VERY few and minimal and rare. and it's not that big of a deal. the story is done really well. i love how lucifer is a flawed character from the start. and it's a good thing that he's still a kid too, so he has a lot of room to grow as a person going into his adulthood. the side characters are nice too. i feel like the author has done a really good job in showing that defining evil and good is not that easy. there's a lot of grey area and it's not a simple matter of black and white. someone might perceive himself as a good person, but is he really? in the end he just fights for what he believes in. and this doesn't apply to just the lucifer as the MC, but everyone else in this book. character design, i don't know what that is. but i noticed many characters have red hair (or is it black?), so maybe a little more variety on that aspect (?) i don't know lol. again, not that big of a deal. world background is alright i guess. it's hard to say because it's early chapters, and i don't know how many chapters this book will have. you might think the pace is slow, but if the book is gonna go beyond 1000 chapters, then of course it's understandable to be that slow in order to build up everything. small detail tho, i still don't know where lucifer actually comes from, like what country? what continent and all? maybe i didn't catch it when it was being mentioned but yeah. overall it's a 4.8 from me and can't wait to continue reading this story~
starts fantastic I hope it's a revenge one I will give ya if it's fully revenge one with no disgusting human eating stuff I saw in other novels here, I like dark 🌑 villan story's but not the disgusting ones sorry I hope this one's not like them I am just starting so if it's not like what I said above I will give the remaining .2 stars
Based on the quality of his other books, I'm giving this rating. I think lessons have been learned from his older books, the world building is usually very good, most of his characters have depth and the story moves at a agreeable pace. Which is why I scored those a 4, my only gripe with his books is that they feel like they won't end. So it eventually feels like there's no meaning to the developments going on. Don't get me wrong there's nothing wrong with 1000-2000 chapter stories but to me it needs to feel like we're building up towards something. That being said the writing quality and rate of updates are great and the stories are good. I will write a further review around chapter 100.
It started out a bit rocky, I had a hard time caring about if the MC died or not because he was just a very ignorant and pychopathic kid due to him being a lab rat for a few years and getting "killed" in an experiment. But then things got a bit better later on when he lost his memories and basically started a new life, that didn't last long, but the things he learned while in that new life made him less ignorant and more cunning. That's when things really heated up and the novel was actually quite good, but by the time he came close to finishing his initial goals the author started throwing weird curve balls that didn't really make a lot of sense. Time travel, stuck in dreams, memory loss again etc. It felt like we'd take a step forward and two steps backwards. Also the MC never really got past his initial trauma as a kid and he was basically emotionally stunted even though he was less ignorant and wasn't unintelligent, so after that first memory loss arc his character really never grew or changed. All in all I'd say read the first 600 or so chapters, but don't expect the MC to have any real emotions other than anger. After around 700 chapters I just couldn't stick it out anymore. Also there's no romance at all, the MC has a few people that try to get him out of his depressing pit he's been in all his life but he just balks at it and pretends his feelings don't exist. So remove the romance tag lol
I liked the plot development in the middle and the beginning but I've noticed there are so many changes. The plot suddenly starts twirling around near the 800th ch and at that point, everything stops being consistent? I don't even know what I'm trying to read anymore and at this point, it's like a random character was slapped in and it just didn't make sense. It's complicated and the author really isn't connecting everything very well. Now I'm just confused whether or not I'm reading the same novel as it has now developed into something so weird.
So I've read about 15 chapters and all I have to say that the intelligence of each character introduced hurts my own. I don't want to talk badly about this novel but the way everything happens is just plain dumb (e.g. the first human interaction the mc had in the restaurant). I won't tell anymore in this review for it would require me to put the spoiler tag into my review, which I simply don't want. If any one wants to know why I think as I do, comment the review and I'll explain.
to be honest, i don't know how to react to this novel. first of all it was full of negative vibes like all humans are evil. it gives so much inconsistency. An example would be the stupid xander. Knowing that the researcher has done something to mc, the righteous wannabee xander plans the trap in the name of justice. what the heck. do they not have any psychiatrist on child behavior? they are the army. they should know the effect of their behavior. the setting are supposed to be modern times but there are no police and crimes are rampant wherever the mc goes. last, how do they know that mc has super heal when in fact all members of the team died at the house of mc? it was told in the novel that the delta team speculates he was using wind skill to dodge and all of the sudden they know that mc has super heal despite all the team died.
