Chapter 4

"I can't believe it's the weekend already. I am going out Kira. See you later." Emma tells Kira who is in the kitchen cleaning.

"Ok, see you later." She calls back

Emma is walking down the stairs when she is stopped by Mrs. Gavi.

"Good afternoon ma'am." She greets

"Good afternoon Emma, I was on my way up to get you." She said

"Oh, is there something wrong?" she asks

"No dear, there is a gentleman downstairs looking for you." she winks

"Oh, thank you Mrs. Gavi." she smiles

She starts to walk down the stairs again. Her eyes widen at the person she sees at the bottom of the stairs. It is Kylen Roy.

Kylen smiles as he sees her coming down the stairs. She smiles at him.

"Hello Kylen." She says to him

"Hello Emma." He smirks

"What are you doing here on a Saturday?" She ask raising an eyebrow

"I am here to ask you to lunch this afternoon." He winks

Emma's heart skips a beat in her chest.

"Sure I was on my way to get lunch anyway." She blushes

They walk outside to his car waiting by the side of the building. After driving for a few miles, They are at a seafood restaurant on the beach.

"This is a nice place." Says Emma.

"It is, I like looking at the water while I eat. It is calming." He smiles

They eat while enjoying each other's company. After eating Kylen asks if she would like to take a walk along the beach with him, she nods. She starts to smile and giggle.

"What is so funny?" He asks her with a smile of his own.

"Nothing really, I just didn't think that a busy guy like you would like to walk on beaches." she smiles up at him.

Amused at the comment. "Is that what you think of me?"

"I thought you would be more of a guy who likes the clubs, with bright lights and women who look like models." She said

"I can be that kind of man, if that is what you want me to be." He pulls her by the waist to his chest.

She puts her hands on her cheeks when she feels the blush start to spread. She looks at his green forest eyes staring back into her gray ones.

"No, I don't want that kind of man." She says. "I am the exception." She whispers

The whisper was low, but Kylen still heard it. He smiles when she looks him in the eyes again.

"Why don't we sit down over there?" He asks her.

"Sure" she walks over to the chairs with the umbrellas. She looks out to the water, watching the sunset. "This is beautiful."

"You sure are." He clears his throat when she turns to look at him. "I mean the sunset is very beautiful."
