team four

(act like this is a continuation of the previous chapter which I apologize for spamming Jutsus in)

Shikari was of course satisfied with the progress of his training over the previous year because he had learned many things and gotten much stronger.

Shikari now thinks that graduating that early wasn't necessary but he didn't know the horrors waiting for him years later.

(little intervention here time for an update on talents)

Shikari had collected a lot more talents in the previous year and even "fused" his genjutsu talent into the Yin talent.

Shikari pressed on the Fusion button and a blue transparent screen appeared.

he only had three fusions remaining but those weren't easy well besides the all-nature releases one.

Shikari had once asked if he could fuse his Yin and Yang talent as soon as the new year came but the system answered negatively disappointing him.

the system then told him that the system needs to be LV.3 to be able to fuse the talents and transform them into the Jutsu and the Yin-Yang release talent.

and also for some mysterious reason, the system sometimes wouldn't respond to him or even allow him to view the interface also making him unable to collect any talents during that duration which lasted for at least a month and that had Shikari more suspicious of the system than originally.

Shikari kept that on his mind as he continued training to eventually participate in the Chunin exams who knows when.

but for him to participate in it he has to be on a team, which he isn't yet.

as soon as he finished that thought an anbu appeared out of thin air.

"Hokage-Sama wants to deliver you some news. so come with me." the anbu with a bear mask said with a flat tone then without waiting for a response he grabbed Shikari's shoulder and disappeared in ShunShin.

Shikari politely bowed to the third when he arrived in respect to the professor.

"I have good news for you, Shikari." the professor started.

"Oh, and what might those be?" Shikari asked raising an eyebrow.

Hiruzen the third Hokage decided to deliver the news to Shikari quickly as he got a lot more things to do.

"Well, you have been officially assigned to a team! team four." the third broke the news to Shikari.

Shikari's face brightened up he had finally been assigned to a team!

"meet your new team tomorrow at 6 AM in training ground four."

Shikari was about to question how to meet them but he had gotten the answer before even speaking.

"Thanks, Hokage-Sama! and if you excuse me I know you have a lot of things to do." Shikari said bowing deeply.

Hiruzen nodded allowing Shikari to leave which he did in a ShunShin.

the next day Shikari sat in the training ground under the shade of a tree arriving earlier than the intended time.

then after a bit of waiting another person arrived.

she walked slowly then sat next to Shikari and asked a simple question.

"Are you from team four?"

"yes, I am. I guess you are too?" Shikari answered and then questioned.

the girl nodded deciding to save her energy by not talking.

(appearance): Brown, flowing hair double braided, Narrow silver eyes, set handsomely within their sockets. soft gloomy face. she wore a black shirt under a black hooded jacket with black anbu pants and a Shinobi bag tied to her left leg over white bandages. simple but nice.

just by observing her Shikari could notice that she wasn't the fan girl type and was serious about her Shinobi career.

"so what's your name?" Shikari started socializing with his team was important so he spoke.

"My name is Yoshihaya Mekeno."

"My name is Shikari."

both then sat in an awkward silence Shikari waited for someone to come to break that silence and he was satisfied when he noticed a boy heading in their direction.

when the boy arrived he also questioned whether they were also in team four or not both nodded and the boy sat down next to them.

"your name?" Shikari asked.

"Koshima Shaginori." the boy now known as Koshima replied.

(appearance): has Black, oily hair almost fully covering a long, worried but sunny face. Glistening gray eyes, set well within their sockets Freckles are spread graciously across his whole face. he wore a white shirt under a dark blue jacket all long-sleeved with black pants and a Shinobi bag tied to his right leg over white bandages.

"Shikari. and she is Yoshihaya Mekeno." Shikari said.

Koshima nodded and just sat there with Shikari and Yoshihaya trying to start a conversation with Yoshihaya and failing then talked to Shikari.

after a bit of waiting their Jonin-Sensei finally arrived.

(appearance): short dark hair and a beard. He wears the standard attire of the Konoha shinobi inclusive of a flak jacket, and forehead protector that he wears like a bandanna along with a pair of fingerless gloves. He also carries a tantō strapped to his lower back.

"introductions first. my name is Hamaki Mimura just call me Hamaki-Sensei." started the Jonin.

everyone then did a small introduction telling their name, likes, dislikes, and hobbies.

Hamaki then told them what Kakashi told Sakura, Naruto, and Sasuke in the original show and told them to prepare for a test for tomorrow and then sent them off but he hadn't told them what the test will be about.

everybody then went off on their own preparing for the test of the next day.

Shikari was a little too excited in preparing himself as he grabbed a lot of stuff like explosive tags expecting the test to be similar to the test that Kakashi had done to team seven.

but he was not wrong and not right.

the next day Shikari arrived at training ground four at 9 AM Sharp however Hamaki told them to come at 9:30 AM.

after a bit of waiting the rest of team four arrived and waited for Hamaki to tell them the contents of the test.

"the test will be about...."

well besides that evil cliffhanger I have to apologize for the Jutsu spam on the previous chapter to fulfill the word count I promise that won't ever happen again oh and also my neck hurts a lot less so more consistency.

and I know that was a short chapter but I suddenly felt evil so I did the cliffhanger no Jutsu.
