Chapter 8: Future Plans

Bruce Pov :

To acquire the company I have to fully investigate one more person who was the mastermind behind the Extremis project, Maya Hansen, and one of the most important pawns to complete my plan fruitfully.

So I hacked many governments' servers and collect a detailed biodata of her.

Maya Hansen studied at MIT, where she conducted research into biological DNA coding. Her work is promising enough to bring the attention of various organizations and individuals, such as Aldrich Killian.

She also attended the Bern 2000 in 1999 and met stark to take his advice on Extremis which had the potential to upgrade the human body and regrow cells.

He did advise her by writing a formula on the visiting card given by Killian but got disappointed in him for discarding her as easily as Killian after spending a night and leaving without informing her.

Angered by stark's disappearance she used the equation given by stark to perfect her Extremis code and used his formula to further her research, though she still failed to fix the bugs and needed money to expand her development.

In the wake of that night in Switzerland, Hansen approached Aldrich Killian and was accepted into the ranks of his think tank, A.I.M.she brought her research with her, and eventually, the development of Extremis led to Hansen leading a 40-strong team of A.I.M.scientists.

But her research hit a bottleneck and was unable to solve its explosively unstable nature.

So my best target to get into the ranks of the A.I.M is her, my most valuable player.

I started my research on Extremist starting from her first published article to her latest bottleneck and studied carefully for a week in my newly bought villa.

At first, I wanted to leave this country and hide for some time but after rejuvenating and getting an athletic body due to Wolverine's power and Batman's template which changed my entire appearance and age beyond recognition, so I discarded that plan. Buying a villa on the outskirts of New York using my fake identity as Bruce Wayne is simple and I did the same.

I installed the equipment which is needed now and performed some experiments on Extremis for one week and the results are quite satisfactory. I had to say that Hansen, is a genius but instead of following Stark's formula, she should have followed her initial assumption. Old Brue was a genius in the field of genetics and already tried to recreate the super soldier serum, so it didn't take much time for me in decoding the mistakes in the Extremis formula and its vast potential for further upgrades.

Like stark said in MCU the equation that he wrote is utter rubbish and misled her from her original theory. A small mistake and she lost her track.

So I plan to meet her in the name of investing in her project and slowly work my way into A.I.M and I am confident in perfecting the Extremis in two years, with her help.

So I called her to implement my plan immediately after getting her number.

PHONE RINGING...

???: Hello

A lady's voice came from the other end of the phone. So I started my reason for calling her.

Me: Hello, my name is Bruce Wayne. Am I speaking to Maya Hansen?

Maya: Yes, It is, I am Maya Hansan speaking.

Me: oh miss Hansen are you the one who published an article on Extremis?

Maya: Yes, I am the one who published it.

Me: Miss Hansen I am very impressed with your thesis, it has an endless potential to upgrade the human body and regrow cells which can be a boon to humankind as it can completely regrow lost limbs if the formula is perfected. So I want to provide funds for your research.

Maya: Sir, are you a scientist too?

Me: Yes, I am a scientist specializing in genetics, and got my Ph.D. from MIT. So can I invest in your research

Maya: Of course, Mr.Wayne A.I.M. will always allow any type of funding for research, and are you free to meet me tomorrow to discuss this matter?

Me: Sure

She gave me the address of a restaurant, to meet at tomorrow morning.

Maya Pov :

I recently reached a bottleneck and was unable to continue my research further and can't solve its explosively unstable nature.

Without solving the problem I can't test it directly on live test subjects which will result in an explosion if the specimen can't assimilate the serum and gets bursts due to overloading resulting in an explosion. What I want is a cure to make human life better and to create medical wonders.

This type of research has its cons and was not recommended by the U.S. government, to research in the field of biotech, after the continuous failure of the recreation of super soldier serum and the number of accidents caused by making it.

So very less investors are interested in investing in this type of risky project and I got to seize every chance to make funds for the research.
