Chapter 6
The next day Melony did the same routine as the day before, and she reminded the maid to bring lunch to her and Dylan in the dungeon. Right when she arrived down she went directly to Dylan who was waiting for her the same way as the day before.
When he saw her he smiled. Melony's heart melted and butterflies appeared in her stomach again.
"Hey uhm.. I got your breakfast!"
Dylan smiled.
"Thank you princess!"
Dylan said as he grabbed the plate out of Melony's hand. Melony sat down in front of Dylan as he ate.
They talked for hours and hours. Then Melony had an Idea!
"Hey, uhm how about we go to the garden to continue talking? It will be more fun and I think it'll be better than this!"
Melony said nervously. Dylan smiled.
"Yeah! That's a great idea!"
"Great!"
Melony stood up and took Dylan's hand. As they were walking hand in hand. Melony couldn't help but blush. The thought of her holding Dylan's hand, this was just too good to be true. Dylan noticed Melony getting red and asked:
" Uh princess? You okay? You're getting red again!"
"Huh? Oh yes, yes , I'm fine!"
Dylan didn't believe Melony for one second but just played along with it.
"If you say so."
When they arrived at the garden, Melony hurriedly dragged Dylan to the private part of the garden.
As they sat down on the ground Dylan saw a flower. He picked the flower up and handed it to Melony.
"Huh, what's this for?"
Melony asked, a bit confused. Dylan got red in embarrassment.
"It's uhm, for you.. I'm giving this to you because it's just as beautiful as you.."
Melony started getting more and more red.
"O-oh w-wow, uhm thank you.."
Melony's cheeks were all red by then. She held the flower in her hand nervously.
Dylan was quiet and a bit embarrassed. It was weird. Melony had never seen Dylan this quiet. It was just so unusual.
"Hey uhm, we should head back."
Dylan said with a bit of a shaky voice. Melony was shocked.
"What? Why? We just got here!"
"Yeah, well uhm I just don't want to be here anymore.."
Melony got disappointed.
"Alright if you say so.."
