The Blue Flame Continent

"Yalan, return to the empire and clear the gold-rank dungeons. absorb all the life Qi and death Qi you want. Instead, capture the souls of those killed using this flag and return to me." Sora said calmly as he passed Yalan the Soul Flag, of course, the badge was not recording this as Sora controlled it using the system.

"My lord I'm your guard," Yalan said with a frown while looking at the flag, how could she leave her master's side? she instead threw a look toward Cai Yi and Elsa, they were a better fit for such a task,

"Young Master, Yalan is correct. although she is the strongest here, her strength is best used to keep you safe... Cai Yi and I should go. we can use this time to catch up to Yalan," Elsa said with a slight bow, Cai Yi was the weakest person here, she hadn't even stepped into the 4th stage of cultivation and was only at the only stages of the 3rd stage.

"We also need this chance to get used to the power the lord granted us." Cai Yi said softly, Sora smiled slightly at their answers.

"Good, that was the answer I was seeking. Go ahead then." Sora said with a smile, the 3 were stunned for a moment, but they took the flag and with a slight bow they turn and left, leaving Sora with Yalan,

currently, Sora was ranked in the first place as the most talented human, and the second place belonged to a name called James Fire Stone, who was capable of showing strength 25 times that of those of his level.

it total, only a few thousand people managed to show strength more than 12 times their level. this number seemed a lot, but that would be forgetting that out of these thousand were 10s of billions of humans who took place.

so yes, they were rare and most of them were spread out all over the world, and some of them were none other than the emperor's sons and daughters. the emperor's favorite sons and daughters were those who managed to rank among such beings, which was quite shocking.

next week a tournament would be held, and the tournament would take place within a VR world, where time moves far faster. it was a newly created tech, and the requirement to do so was to have soul cultivation at least at Soul Condensation, those who don't meet the requirement would instantly fail.

anyways, back to Elsa and Cai Yi. they returned to the emperor and went on to go see Cai Yi's grandparents and explain to them what Sora asked them to do. of course, the grandparents were unwilling at first, but upon calling Sora who pretty much ordered them, and told them that if anything happened he would rush back, they relaxed slightly.

and seeing their granddaughter who for some reason was talented, they were capable of relaxing as they realized that this might be Sora doing. knowing it was dangerous to get into such dirty water and their granddaughter telling them everything was alright, they went on to open the Gold rank Great.

the Gold rank Grade was huge, hidden within a floating island that floated around the castle island. the island turned out to be made out of metal, which moved around, revealing the gate. it was a sight the whole city could see. the gate was a beautiful golden color, which gave off an aura that made those who were weak unwilling to near it,

Elsa and Cai Yi had heavy hearts while looking at the gate, they were of course not strong enough to clear such a powerful dungeon, but they can grow through absorbing Lifeforce and Death Qi, to make things better, they didn't need as much energy as Sora, so they could breakthrough faster, only at the cost of being weaker than him.

"Let's go," Elsa said as she stood the lead, holding her palm out, she opened the gate with some difficulty, and as the gate doors opened, the air seemed to shake. soon the gate was open just enough for them to enter, standing before the gate they were smaller than ants. so you can tell how huge the thing was.

the two entered and found themselves appearing on a Continent, they looked around for a moment, and with their senses, they picked up on many lifeforms around them. the dungeon was called the Blue Flame Continent,

it was filled with many life forms of all shapes and sizes which were skilled with using Blue flames. It's how this kingdom got its name, Blue Flame Kingdom, it was named after their dungeon and the gains they got from this dungeon.

some dungeon, a person is capable of getting unique abilities from them. for example, in this dungeon, a person can gain the power to take control of the blue flames. the royal family of course has the most control over such flames, but they didn't call themselves the blue flame royal family as they kept the Ryle, which was a mystery to most people.

"The blue flames are unique flames capable of affecting a person's mind... for now, go ahead and go berserk. there are a total of 10 billion monsters here, enough for us to take our time and grow. but we must do so within 7 days." Elsa said calmly, Cai Yi nodded slightly before stepping out.

She was given the title of human empress. within the 6th path, the human path was best used for mind-place manipulation. form mind control, casting illusions, and going through a person's mind was within the Human Path capability. of course that was not everything it could do,

it could allow Cai Yi to also copy other life forms to a limited degree. it was of course not limited to humans, but all life forms with feelings such as Wrath, Envy, Lust, Pride, and so on, if they were such a lifeform, she could mimic their appearance, aura, and even abilities.

Cai Yi stepped forward while taking a deep breath, taking hold of her sword, Human Path energy covered her body before she disappeared towards a Deer which was covered in blue flames.

Elsa pulled out the flag, stabbed it into the ground, and had it begin to absorb the souls of those that were being slaughtered.

Cai Yi's actions, of course, caught the attention of many monsters which rushed at her, it didn't take long for her to go berserk, from absorbing so much Death Qi, and with her going Berserk, her Human Path energy got more refined along with her combat skills and many more.

She soon began controlling the monsters attacking them, turning them against the other monsters while she simply stood back, absorbing the gains from the slaughter. slowly, the battle reached a point where Elsa was going to be swallowed,

Sora had told them about what happens when they absorb Death Qi, Elsa of course knew of this. but she was sure she was more than strong enough to stop Cai Yi if things got out of hand,

and to her shock, the monsters under Cai Yi's control made a path for Cai Yi to walk through. a Cai Yi walked through them all, absorbing their mental energy to improve her cultivation, this left the monsters mentally tired, and some fell asleep, while others died,

"Your action is weakening the strength of the souls connected," Elsa said with a frown, unsure if Cai Yi could hear her. Cai Yi's bloodthirsty smile froze for a moment upon hearing Elsa's words, and slowly she stopped absorbing the mental energy from the beast. Elsa was confused, did Cai Yi understand her, or was she stopping because she was getting in the way of Sora?

it seems like she stopped as she was getting in the way of Sora. she killed all of the beasts and even sent the souls to the flag, while absorbing the Death QI, before turning and disappearing into the forest, where she began a slaughter.

Elsa made a mental note to ask Sora about this, while she followed Cai Yi. She went on to tell Cai Yi to absorb as much mental energy, life force, and Death Qi as she could before breakthrough to the 4th stage of cultivation.

Elsa wanted to see if she would listen to orders, and Cai Yi indeed listened. she began absorbing all types of energy, leaving death in her way. Cai Yi's cultivation skyrocketed, and in no time, she began breaking through to the body transformation realm within all 3 cultivation systems.

Cai Yi at this moment was swallowed by death Qi, her eyes were glowing red, and she had entered the Death God mode. even without Sora teaching her this, under the Bersker mode, she was able to do it on her own,

Cai Yi showed her teeth at the sky as it was being covered by storm clouds, Elsa by now was far away and was watching on with a slightly worried look. she was sure this tribulation might catch the attention of the boss monster, they would not act out of fear, but still, once it's done they are sure to act.

Elsa didn't need to think long before she sent Sora a quick update on what was happening, and Sora sent a reply almost instantly. and the reply made her slightly disappointed, Yalan was coming over just to make sure everything was alright.

Elsa sighed softly, and after a moment. traveling at top speed, Yalan should arrive in about 10 minutes, after all, Yalan was more than 10,000 miles away. in fact, 10 minutes was a bit too long, she might arrive within half that time.

So, Elsa watched as lightning fell upon the berserker Cai Yi. Cai Yi will metal power took form above her head, forming a barrier that could be seen by the naked eye. Elsa's eyes widened seeing this, metal power should be invisible, they couldn't have a color or form like this.

'her control of mental energy has surpassed master...' Elsa thought in shock, of course, being the Human Empress, Cai Yi's mental capability was better than Sora's. this was simply because Sora had too many things to try and master, and little time to do so. then again, if Sora went berserker and within his berserk-like state he forced only on his mental capability, he would catch up easily,

Cai Yi's mental barrier easily blocked the lightning dragon which fell from the sky, but the lightning doubled the next round and fell, this time a hint of a crack appeared within the Cai Yi barrier, and in the following rounds, that crack grew and grew until it shattered,

In the 6th round, Cai Yi instead of forming a barrier outside forced all her strength to enhance her body. her mental energy formed clothing around her, and with a roar, she shot into the sky and punched the lightning dragon, destroying most of them, although some hit her, they couldn't get past her clothing defense.

Cai Yu went through the rounds, as the number of dragons raining down upon her increased, the difficulty she faced increased. But within the berserk-like state, it seemed like the perfect way to face the tribulations, the greater the hardship, the more she seemed to improve

In the end, when the 12 lightning dragons fused, she was hit hard but she unleashed all of the energy she had left, making her leave the berserk state. her energy was overpowered by the one lightning dragon, but the remaining power of the lightning dragon wasn't enough to do much to her,

"... haha, I did it." Cai Yi cheered happily, she went through the tribulation far better than Sora who almost died, plus she needed no outside help. sure this was mostly because she was in a berserk state, but still, this allowed her to greatly improve her skills, her energy control, and so many other stuff has greatly improved, thanks to her gains, she could now show a measurement of the power of 294,000, which put her above Sora, and only second to Yalan.

"Congratulation my lady," Elsa said softly as she gave Cai Yi a change of clothing, Cai Yi nodded slightly before taking the clothing, before turning her attention far off towards the wave of monsters which came from all over the dungeon world,

"Well, it's your turn, go and improve your skills." Cai Yi said with a smile, Elsa nodded slightly before she stepped forwards towards the monsters. With that step, her aura instantly changed and turned into a prideful aura, her eyes were filled with disdain towards the lower lifeforms which was rushing towards her.

She was the celestial maid. within the 6 realms, the celestial realm stood above all other realms, a realm filled with boundless pride and arrogance towards the realms below it. what ability did it have? well, its pride was its power. how dare you have something she didn't have? so she would copy your powers

how dare you use your power better or equal to hers? so she would master the said ability to stand above you. she shall remain the star in the sky, and you shall remain the firefly trying to shine to reach its brightness, but it would be pointless.

this ability was called the Celestial Emperor. this ability, of course, wasn't just limited to doing this, it's an ability that uses her pride to empower her. the stronger her willpower was, the greater the empowerment shall be.

how dare a lower lifeform injure me? all injuries shall disappear and her skin shall harden and so on. she didn't cultivate anything else but she will, anything else was secondary to her as with her will alone, she stands above all things.

Elsa stepped forward, and her body heat slowly began to increase, making everything around her start to burn up, Cai Yi had to get away as Elsa's body heat was slowly reaching the heat of the surface of the son, not earth sun, but their sun which was far bigger and hotter.

Cai Yi suddenly felt something, turning around she saw that on a mountain not too far away, Yalan was standing on a mountain, and with a palm, Cai Yi took control of her body with her telekinesis and brought Cai Yi to her side.

"You are free to go berserk and use this chance to improve your skills to the peak, your improves are also important," Yalan said softly, to which Cai Yi nodded slightly before looking at her in confusion, what was Yalan's power?

"My power is death," Yalan said softly leaving Cai Yi stunned for a moment, she didn't understand what type of power that would be.

out of the 14 positions, 6 of them were of the 6 realms. the remaining 8 were positions that belonged to the path related to death, with Yalan having the strongest out of the 14. but there were a few others who were tied with the Death position as the strongest,

that being the Celestial realm and a few others. the human realm was not one of them, as before death, the human realm is left lifeless.
