A huge blue sun the size of an island floated within the sky, if one were to zoom in at the bottom of that sun, one would see a woman holding up one finger in the air, holding up the whole sun. this was none other than Elsa,

with a blood lust smile, she threw the ball down, and the ball came falling at scary speed for its size. down below, a huge ogre with one horn on its forward looked at the incoming falling sun. holding a wooden club, it pulled it back, reading to swing it forward.

it let out a roar and the club exploded with blue flames, and with a swing, the club and sun clashed against each other. the world shook, from the clash of the two powers, the sun bent inwards, but it was still falling,

the ground under the ogre cracked as the ground under it began to burn up, the whole land was burnt for as far as the eye could see, went the ogre didn't have strength on it.

Elsa's blood lust smile grew, and slowly the blue flame began to turn golden red flame, turning into flames of rebirth. a flame that was a mix between life and death, these flames were able to burn away a person's lifeforce and allow its user to go through rebirth.

they had another name, Phoenix flames, but Elsa's flames touched upon rebirth far more so than the phoenix flames, making her flames far stronger. they could be called their flames, Celestial Flames. the ultimate flame of rebirth, healing, and burning away a person's lifespan,

the Ogre roared as its found itself growing order, its lifespan was on fire quickly burning away, it wanted to defend itself, but the flame hit and set his flame of life on fire, even if Elsa were to turn away and leave, he would soon die.

The Ogre's flesh quickly began drying up, and in no time, he turned to ashes and disappeared from this world. the sun landed on the ground and exploded and spread out, its flames spread all over the dungeon, attention itself to any string of life it could find,

sand, air, light, water, souls, and so on, everyone had a string of life, and it shall burn it out of existence. each string was like fuel for the flames, making the flames burn stronger and stronger upon contract.

"thats the mini-boss... should we allow her to deal with the reaming sub-bosses?" Cai Yi asked with a frown, even Elsa would be overwhelmed by the remaining big shots she would have to face. Elsa alone just finished one of the 5 zones within this dungeon, there were still 4 more zones,

"as she is now, she is stronger than me," Yalan said with a smile, it was her time to see how huge of an improvement she could make when going berserk. Cai Yi sighed softly, she had the lowerest cultivation here, only at level 1 of the 4th stage of cultivation, the same as Sora,

Elsa's improvement, plus her being 1 level above her in cultivation, brought forth a huge difference in strength. for example, Cai Yi's peak strength was 294,000, meanwhile, Elsa's peak strength was 425,250.

If Elsa wanted to kill her, she wouldn't know how she died. the difference in strength was enough for Elsa to toy with her, with eyes closed, and both hands tied behind her back.

Yalan disappeared and went on to stop Elsa from going to the next region, the bloodthirsty Elsa easily agree, which was a bit too easy. Elsa then went on to sit down to refine all of the Death Qi and Strings of Life she had absorbed, allowing her cultivation to quickly begin improving. at the same time, the celestial flames died out as she ordered them to do so.

'could it be because this power is based around the mind?' Yalan thought while looking at Elsa, she guessed that maybe because Elsa and Cai Yi's power was based around the mind, they could have an easier chance of controlling themselves,

but that was nothing more than a guess, with a turn she shot towards the beast, many beasts within their region were watching what was happening there, and all were heading over to land a hand. it's just that it was far, so they couldn't come here so easily,

In a one vs Army type battle, Yalan wasn't the best within the 14 positions, but she was also not the worst. she would be ranked amongst the stop depending on the top of the army.

as she stepped forward, her body exploded with death Qi, and at the same time black armor covered her body, along with a sword appearing in her right hand, and a shield appearing in her left hand.

Yalan stepped forward and disappeared, rushing towards the region closest to the spot she was at. she wanted to clear another region before anything else happened, so a slaughter quickly followed,

Death Qi filled a whole region, creating a world of absolute death, Cai Yi who was watching this from afar always widened slightly. those that died within the region of death Qi came back to life, their improving Yalan Qi cultivation while at it.

but the undead that came back to life was also being strengthened by the death of Qi in the air, allowing them to remain at the peak of when they were alive.

'the domain is fully Death Qi, there is a hint of life Qi within, allowing those who died to have a bit of their wisdom remaining and their body not to fall apart.' Cai Yi thought impressed by the skill,

the undead roared under Yalan's control and rushed at those monsters which have yet to die. Yalan walked forward, her eyes closed and ignoring all trouble that came her way as an undead would away appear to protect her.

but she soon opened her eyes and looked towards an undead whose blue flames were turning black. this was strange as out of the other blue flames of the undead, this undead was the only one who created black flames,

'Death Flames... flames birthed from Death Qi.' Yalan thought in amazement, she wanted to see the power of such flames. and the undead went on to show her just that, punching forward, the monster sent a clash of Death flames flying forward toward a monster that held high resistance towards the death Qi in the air due to how far it was from the main source of the domain,

The monster held its hands out to block the incoming blast, but upon contract, nothing happened to it. after a moment it looked at the undead with a disdainful look, before it suddenly began turning into an old monster, followed by it falling apart into ashes.

'it burns away the life force, it's far more effective than Elsa's flames, at least 10 times more effective.' Yalan thought with a slight nod, the thing Death Falmes and Celestial flames, Death flames forced all about burning away all life, unlike the Celetial flames which were more about rebirth than that.

'He had about 10 years in 0.1 seconds. that flame was launched by an undead at level 1 Core formations, it would of course be more effective if I used it. but how much? 3 seconds was all that was needed for that monster to burn through his lifespan, which was left under the effect of this domain.' Yalan thought before holding out her palm, Death Qi gathered and she slowly transformed it into flames, but she shook her head.

Her control wasn't good, she was wasting a huge amount of energy trying to turn her energy into flames. shaking her head, she returned to killing and absorbing all that she can, slowly her mental state began to be clouded with the thoughts of swallowing all things living,

She soon lost control and with a roar, she shot forward and her Death Qi domain grew stronger, so much so Cai Yi was no longer able to see through it and see what was happening.

But she could still sense what was happening, through her senses, she knew Yalan's strength was increasing at a high speed, and her control over her energy, abilities, and technique all increased at a scary level, months' worth of improvement was happening in just a few minutes, which was scary.

Yalan abilities were simple, they were death-based abilities. she could bring death about anything similar to Sora, but weaker than Sora. But there was something else she was capable of doing, injuries she inflects upon a living being will not heal, instead, they would act like a poison or something that was infected by something, and get worse with time.

In other words, the injuries she makes can't heal and would only grow stronger. but that was not everything she could do, death and life were two sides of the same coin. if she flip over, she could use the power of life to a limited degree.

in her case, it showed its power with her shield or sword. which formed the ultimate shield and sword. the shield can defend against all attacks, while her sword can suck and absorb anything it pieces and convert it to the energy she can absorb or seal away.

She can channel this power into her shield and sword formed from ores, or create said items out of energy.

Sora had most of the abilities which belonged amongst the 14 followers. but now all of them also showed themselves in different forms within Sora's hands,

anyways, back to Sora, Sora was drinking some tea while looking at Emilia who was sitting awkwardly opposite him.

"I never got to know you... So, let's play a small game, it's called 21 questions. with both take turns to ask a question until we both reach 21 questions" Sora said with a slight smile stunning Emilia for a moment but she nodded

"First question, what are your dreams? nothing to do with cultivation or something like that, just a simple dream you want to bring into reality. I know you want to have control of your fate and all, but what after?" Sora asked with a smile,

"Well, I would say... I haven't thought that far." Emilia said softly, she hadn't thought that far, but what would she do when she had no one controlling her fate, and her fate was in her hands?

"I will ask you the same question... what is your dream?" Emilia asked softly, Sora went quiet for a moment, before smiling

"I have a few... but the biggest one is to reach the peak. I want my existence to matter, everything I remember how small I am compared to the universe... it's a bit sad knowing everything I do and will do is meaningless compared to the scale of the universe... and if the multiverse theory is true, and every possibility which could exist does exist, does anything matter?" Sora asked with a sigh, which made Emilia stunned for a moment.

"Just imagine, in another universe, could be me and you having the same talk, a perfect copy, but there is an extra ant someone in that universe. I guess I wish for my life to be meaningful, my smile, my sadness, and so on. if it could have some impact, then it would pointless" Sora said softly, leaving Emilia unable to speak for a moment

"Then why did you get close to me? with that made set, shouldn't you have not bothered to get close to me..." Emilia asked with a slight frown

"Because I want it to matter... is it wrong for me to try and hold onto the only thing I see as a family? is it wrong for me to try and make my life more than simply me trying to grow stronger? you're all I have, my parents abandoned me, and my other family treated me like trash. but you are the only one I never hated, I want to give this a chance and not just give up on the only family I have left. I want this matter." Sora asked with a deep sigh,

"Oh..." Emilia said softly as she lowered her head, after a moment, she got up and walked away without saying anything.

"Did I say something wrong? I'm sorry, I guess I will hate myself knowing the way I see things. I should have been honest with you from the start, I will stay out of your way... I guess I have been forcing you without knowing." Sora said with a sigh, but he froze when Emilia turn around to look at him with some tears in the corner of her eyes.

Just as Sora got up, she turned and ran away, Sora wanted to go after her but stopped at seeing her entering her room and closing the door.

'well, that should be the push she needed.' Sora thought as he returned to his room, and waited.
