"W-what kind of wings are those?! Why won't my daggers pierce through?!"

"Is he a swordmaster or a mage?! Just what is he?!"

Luke frowned at the assassins shouting while looking at him. They're too noisy.

Slash!

Luke then slashed the man's neck and also the others near him. His rock army is also putting up a good fight against the assassins. The 100 assassins that were here earlier were reduced to thirty in a matter of minutes.

The assassins wanted to flee, but the large barrier around them prevented them from doing so. They tried to fight, but the human, no, the monster in front of them had impenetrable wings and unfathomable strength, as well as an aura and a rock army. He is impossible to fight, even for sneaky assassins like them. He is basically a monster.

Luke didn't know what they were thinking and just kept on slashing them. Blood splatters everywhere and his once white robe became covered in red because of the blood of all the assassins he killed.

After an hour of absolute slaughter, Luke is finally done and is now looking at the pile of corpses in front of him. He then sighed and tried to wipe off the blood on his face. Nash noticed this and cast cleaning magic on Luke. All the blood on Luke instantly disappeared and his robe was clean again. He then heard Nash grumbling.

"You know that I can slaughter those assassins ten times faster, you know?"

Luke sighed. He didn't want to answer him. Luke just patted Nash's head, but he then stopped when he felt something rise in his throat and curl forward.

"Ugh! Bleeek!"

"DAD!"

Nash looked at Luke, who was lying on the ground, shaking while puking out blood. This is not like what happened to Luke in the past. Instead of coughing up blood, he was now puking up blood. Nash then approached Luke and saw his frowning face. He was so pale and his whole body was shaking violently, which made Nash extremely worried.

"Dad! Dad!"

Luke didn't answer and just keep on shaking. Nash then began to cry and was at a loss for words. Whenever Luke is coughing up blood, healing magic or holy magic can't help him stop coughing up blood, so the team can't do anything while Luke is coughing up blood. All they can do is watch and support him. But now, he is shaking and puking a huge amount of blood, making him extremely pale in a matter of seconds.

"DAD! Can you hear me?! Dad?! DAD!"

Nash then started to cry. Luke saw this and forcibly lifted his shaking hand to pat Nash's head. Nash looked up at him, surprised, and Luke forced a smile.

"I-I'm going to be fine... But this might take a while so watch over me okay?"

Nash was silent for a moment before slowly nodding. Luke saw this and put down his hand and started to relax his body as much as he could.

'Fuck.... I'm not hurt, but why do I keep shaking?'

Luke couldn't understand. He doesn't feel any pain, but his body is shaking uncontrollably and he still continues to puke out blood like a fountain.

'Maybe I've overused my powers too much.'

Luke frowned and looked at the ceiling of the dome. He could feel Nash staring at him, but he ignored that. He then tries to relax as much as possible.

Beep! Beep!

Luke looked to the side when he heard something beeping. He then saw light flashing from one of the assassins' corpses, lying on the ground. He then tried to stand up.

"Dad! No!"

Luke just sighed and still tried to stand. His legs were shaky, but he still managed to stand. Nash then supported him and Luke smiled and ruffled his fur and then walked towards the magic communication device that was beeping. Nash then floated the device with mana in front of Luke and connected it. Soon, a screen appeared and an unknown man's face appeared.

•Hey! Are you done yet?! What took you all so long?! And, why are you all bloodied up?!

Luke forced a smile and lied.

"Hehe... We are just having a small brawl here."

•Small... Brawl?

"Yes, we were arguing about who was going to please our liege the most after this operation was done... As a result, we ended up fighting."

•My god, what are you?! Children?! Argh! Whatever! Just do your job properly!

"...Yes sir."

The screen then abruptly became a glitch. After the glitch was fixed, Luke could now see Mira, Lir, Marina, Trent, and also the mermaids on the screen in front of him. Luke then suddenly realized what the Dark Eye's intentions were.

'He intends for me to announce the bombing of Mira's territory in front of the merfolk as well as Mira herself. What a bunch of jerks.'

The Merfolk noticed a large screen on top of one of the enemy's ships that depicted a man with a bloody mouth. But that is not what they are focusing on.

"Is that.... My territory?"

Mira looked at the screen's background with shaking eyes.

"Mira!"

Mira turned her head and saw Erdene and the rest of Luke's group flying towards her. Bell, Julius, and Yulia are now done with their tasks and have approached the rest. Liam looked around and found someone missing.

"Where's brother?"

The three then stopped and also looked around. They then made a confused expression.

"Weird, he was just here earlier."

Liam frowned. He knew it. He knew that Luke was going to do something again.

Luke saw his group and the others reuniting on the screen and smirked. He then started to speak, which caught their attention.

•Don't be concerned about your territory right now, Mira; it's secure.

Mira and the others flinched when they heard a familiar voice. They then turned their heads towards the bloody man wearing a white robe on the screen. Erdene then spoke in shock.

"Luke?"

The bloody robed man, Luke, smiled at them. Luke then sees the person he chatted with earlier on the side of the screen.

"You! What are you talking about?! That isn't what you're supposed to say!"

Luke smirked at the man who was shouting at him.

•Sorry Chief, it seems that our brawl went too far and I ended up killing them.

"You WHAT?!"

•Are you dumb? It's already so obvious that I am not on your side.

"You traitor!"

•I'm not. I am not even part of your organization.

"Y-you! Are you perhaps a spy?!"

•A spy? Hmmm, you can say that.

"That isn't possible!"

•Everything is possible, old man.

Mira and the others looked at Luke casually mocking the man who is shouting at him. Mira then chuckled slowly, as if the situation amused her.

"He... Hehe... HAHAHAHA!!!"

The audience's attention was then drawn to Mira, who burst out laughing. Mira then clenched her spear tightly and pointed it at Luke, who was on the screen.

"Boy! I like you! No wonder Erdene likes you too! Your personality rocks!"

Luke just stared at Mira laughing for a while before shaking.

'Damn it.'

•Cough! Bleeek!

•DAD!

Mira stopped laughing and stiffened up. It is the same for the merfolk and Luke's group. They then saw Luke shaking and puking out blood on the screen. Luke noticed that the screen was still connected and frowned.

"Nash, disconnect."

Luke saw his group about to say something, but Luke didn't hear it because Nash had already disconnected the device. Nash then slowly laid Luke down on the ground and looked at him with worry. Luke didn't notice and simply closed his eyes.

"Nash... I'm going to sleep for a while. Guard me well, okay?"

Nash sniffed and then looked at Luke, who had his eyes closed. Luke then slowly fell unconscious.

"O-okay..."
