Chapter 143: Valley of War(6)

"Alright."

Spencer nodded and began to think. He can feel Jay start to move the bone monster more violently. He appears to be avoiding Ash's attacks at the moment.

Spencer opened his eyes and sighed after a few minutes of silence. He devised a solution. It may not be the most intelligent solution, but it is the only one he can think of right now because his time is limited and he cannot think of any others. Spencer then patted Jay on the shoulder, causing Jay to flinch.

"Jay, follow my lead."

"Uh... Okay?"

Although Jay is confused about what he should be following, he still nodded nonetheless. Spencer just nodded blankly in response to this response. Jay's eyes widened as he witnessed what Spencer did next.

"Wait! Senior what the hell are you doing?! "

Spencer used his flight magic to leap from the bone monster and land safely on the ground. He then turned to face Ash, who was smirking at him. Spencer ignored his smirk and dashed towards Ash. Ash frowned in confusion at first, but quickly cast a slew of spells at Spencer, who is running like a fool towards him. Spencer noticed this but didn't care, and as soon as he got close to Ash, he tried to reach out to him. Spencer formed shields around himself to protect himself from spells, then grabbed Ash's hands and twisted them before placing them on Ash's back.

"Argh! "

Ash winced in pain as his arms were suddenly twisted, but Spencer ignored him and grabbed Ash's other hands. He now has Ash's both hands locked in his grip and has pinned Ash to the ground from behind. Ash grunted and winced in pain, then scowled at Spencer, who was pinning his back down.

"Get off my back!"

Spencer smirked.

"You think I will say yes?"

Ash frowned and darkened the ground once more. Spencer looked at it as if he was expecting it, and he let the hands grab him and hold him in place. Then he heard Ash laugh at him.

"Let me go or these hands will break your bones."

Spencer then responded to him with a blank expression.

"Do that and I will break your hands."

"Don't you have any fear of pain?! I have a firm grip on every part of your body! You've only got your hands on my hands! You should be terrified! "

"Do I look like a give a shit?"

"You-!!!"

Ash looked at Spencer in disbelief; Spencer just looked at him blankly and sent a message on Jay's head, which surprised Jay, who had been watching them from the beginning.

• Pierce us, Jay.

Jay remained silent, his eyes widening at Spencer's sudden order. He then looked down at Spencer, who was looking at him as if encouraging him to do it. Jay looked at him with disbelief. He was so taken aback that he spoke his thoughts aloud.

"What the fuck are you saying?!"

Spencer grumbled and clicked his tongue.

• Just do it, goddamnit.

Jay's mouth opened and closed several times. He can't say anything. When Spencer sent another message to his head, he closed his eyes again.

• Do it!

"Damn it!"

Jay tightened his grip on the vine reins and closed his eyes shut. He then moved the bone monster and made it dive at full speed towards Spencer. The long and sharp beak of the monster is tightly closed as it dives downwards like an arrow. When Ash noticed this, he tried to flail his body away from Spencer's grasps while shouting.

"What the hell?! What is he doing?! "

"Isn't it obvious? He is diving toward us."

"What?! But isn't he on your team? He's going to pierce both of us!!!"

"That is the plan."

"What?! What exactly do you mean, plan?! "

"I think you forgot that I have a suicidal person for a master. I guess it's because I've been with him for too long that I've developed this bad plan."

"You're insane! Let me go!"

"No, you will perish at the hands of a plan known as 'Plan Luke.'"

"Let me go!"

"Are you deaf? I said no."

Ash frowned and tried desperately to move his body, but Spencer pinned him down even more tightly, causing him to remain motionless. Spencer then glanced up and sees the bone monster getting closer and closer.

"You'll get a taste of Plan Luke in three... two... one."

BOOM! BOOM!

Luke and Liam were startled when they heard two loud explosions at the other end of the valley. They then noticed a thick cloud of sand floating in the air, blocking their view of what was going on inside. Luke's eyes narrowed as he struggled to see through the sand cloud, and when the sand settled, his eyes widened in shock. Even Liam came to a halt and stared at the scene in front of him, his jaw dropped.

"Wait... This... Wait a minute."

Luke frowned as he looked around at the Ash clones. They are still surrounding him and Liam and appear to be planning an attack. Luke looked at this and at Ash, who was impaled by the bone monster's beak, which appeared to have landed on Ash's body. Ash is no longer moving, and his blood continues to flow. He looks dead.

The main antagonist of the story... is no longer alive. What the hell happened? Did he just pass away? Just like that? What the fuck?

"Wait, what the fuck happened?"

Luke then looked at who is around Ash's corpse and saw Jay that seems to be crying while hugging Spencer who is trying to push him away with a frown on his face. Luke frowned and looked at the two with disbelief. Then he heard Liam talking next to him.

"Brother, he's no longer alive. I can't feel his presence anymore. It's a shame I didn't get the chance to kill him myself."

With a shocked expression on his face, Luke slowly turned his head towards Liam. He is unable to speak.

Ash, the main villain of this world, was simply eliminated by the story's two original main supporting characters. They didn't even need Nash's or the main character's assistance; Ash died just like that. Luke appeared bewildered as he covered his mouth in shock. He is so perplexed that the main villain dies so easily by only two characters. Is it because Ash still hasn't gotten his hands on Nash's corpse and hasn't opened the gate to the demon world? Is that it?

'So... Ash is that much of a weak-ass when he is alone? Are you kidding me?'

Luke scratched his brow in perplexity. So all of Noah's adventures and risks were not to defeat Ash but to defeat Nash's corpse and the demon world. When left alone, Ash is nothing... The true villains are those he created and unleashed. What a ridiculous plot twist.

'So that must've also meant that there will be no more dangers now, right? Right? There are no more threats now that Ash has vanished. The story ended like this. Everything is well now. There is no longer any Ash.'

Luke's heart pounded wildly with excitement. He had no idea that he would be able to live a peaceful life so quickly. He didn't even have to intervene and fight Ash. Spencer and Jay took out the main villain without the help of Noah or him. Luke's eyes brightened up with joy. He could feel butterflies in his stomach as a result of his happiness. He can now live in peace.

"Brother Luke..."

Luke turned his head towards Liam and was about to smile brightly at him out of happiness when he noticed Liam's extremely serious face while looking straight. Luke then gulped and moved his gaze to where Liam was looking, and his eyes shook as he saw the Ash clones were still present.

"W-what? Didn't you say Ash was no longer alive? Why are his clones still here?"

Luke is perplexed as he looks at the Ash clones that are not only still present but are multiplying. He doesn't understand, Ash is already dead! So these clones should have vanished by now!

Once Nash uttered one word on his shoulder, Luke felt his heart stop beating... It is only one word, but it explains so much.

"Dragon..."

'Shit...'
