Chapter 71: Elixir Negotiation

"Will the dungeon close after this? You basically didn't kill the dungeon boss though." David ask as we headed towards the dungeon entrance/exit.

"Why are you asking someone who experience the same thing as you? Of course I don't know. But whatever the result is after this, are all beneficial to us."

David put his arm in my shoulder as we headed towards the exit.

"I'm just asking, why are you like that?"

He asks.

"I'm having my period ok? My chest is so big as well that it hurts my back, understood?" I responded.

I could feel that everyone is looking at me with disbelief, even David doesn't seems convince to my words. I hate him, he should be supportive to my imaginations.

"You don't have those, don't assume." Christine interject.

"I didn't know that you like daydreaming." David said as well.

I ignored Christine but I glared at David.

I saw the Slave Lich Death Knight holding a sword when suddenly I remember an important thing. I don't have a lot of free time so it's better if I do it today than tomorrow.

I immediately connected myself and Makoy in a telepathy net.

'Maky ...' I called him in his mind.

We both take a glace at each other before he replied.

'What?' He asks.

'Maky, about your mother, I can create an elixir for her. I can only create 2 and no one else has them, meaning they are extremely valuable. I want to keep 1 for my self incase of emergency, and I don't want to give the other one to you for free, tell me, what can you offer me for the elixir?'

'What do you want?'

'Hmmm... I know that you cannot offer me money and I have my ways of gaining it fast if I like to. How about this, what I want is you.'

'Huh? You like me? You have David right? Isn't it better if you are not with him first?'

I think I phrase it in a wrong way but the way he replied, I think he didn't mind being with me. What's wrong with him?

'Silly, I didn't mean it like that. Although you are handsome I admit, but I don't have any desires of you. Also me and David are not lovers, we are in a state that we are more than friends but less than lovers. What I want from you is basically you. I want you to help me when the time arrives that I absolutely need your help. I also don't want you to do anything that is against me, understood? If you are ok with it, I will create a contract for you.'

'Are you planning something evil? Is there no limit to the time that you can ask me for my help?'

It seems like Makoy is very good at reading things.

We arrive outside the gate and I immediately manipulate the mana to stop the freezing temperature, there's no need to lock then up anymore, since the Lich is now part of us.

I am doing it while talking to Makoy in my mind.

"This is why I cannot recall my army." The Lich said but no one replied to him. The others are still wary of him.

I couldn't blame them actually. Even I was wary of him despite making sure that he couldn't do anything that is against my will.

'I don't have any plans of doing something shady or evil in your definition. I was just wary of something, I feel like someone will do something against me, I just want to have someone to ask for help if things got out of control, that's all. And about the limit, I don't think that I'll put a limit at it, however I will make it so that I will only ask you for help when I am already very desperate of something. Will that be ok to you?'

'I don't think that this deal is beneficial to you. Are you ok with this? I know how valuable the elixir as well. If you gave it to the other's you will gain more things than what I can offer you.'

'Do you want to cure your mom or not? I just don't want to put a lot of burden in you, that's all. Do you take it or not?'

'Yeah yeah I'll take it, I'll take it. Just ask me for anything when you need me I will help you to the best of my abilities.' He said.

'I'll have someone give you the contract 3 days from now after you wake up. I'll visit your mother later and will personally heal her. Don't worry about her.'

'Waiitttt? I'll be sleeping for 3 days?'

'Ahh yeah, didn't you ask me for help earlier? The spell that I cast on you has a side effect of being put into sleep for 3 days straight. I warned you right?'

'Oh yeah I remember. I still have things to do during these 3 days. Are there any ways that you can help us counter the side effects?'

'None. Not even healing magic and time magic will do something about it. You really have to sleep for 3 days straight for you recover. Don't worry, it doesn't have any other side effects aside from sleeping.'

'Well, it's better sleeping in 3 days than experience death and revival. I won't complain anymore. I'll leave mother to you then, I expect to see her face the moment that I wake up.'

'Sure, I'll make that happened. Let's end our conversation here now.'

I turn off the telepathy net and talk to the Lich.

"Put all of your skeletons to your space ring. I don't want to see a single one of them here." I said after the automatic magic has been cancelled.

The Lich didn't reply and just raise his hand and all of the skeletons that attacked us the moment that we arrive here in Marinduque, vanish.

"I will now send the signal."

When I said that, helicopters could be seen above us. It seems like they were watching us already.

I weave my mana and raise my staff.

A huge jet of light was release from the magic circle and it shoots upwards to the sky.

*Boooom*

A huge color green explosion could be seen from the night sky.

The fireworks explosion is so big and its very beautiful to look at.

David press his finger on my shoulder which makes me instinctively look at him.

Our eyes met, and I could see clearly how beautiful his eyes are.

"The view is beautiful isn't it?" He ask in a solemn tone.

"Yes. It is," I said and smiled.

After the fireworks died, I immediately look at everyone.

"People will surely come here, in behalf of me please explain to them why this Lich is alive. Please tell them to not interrupt me while I'm casting my magic."

I remove David's arm from my shoulder and move forward.

"You just don't want to deal with them." David said and I look at him.

"It's pretty obvious. I won't deny it."

I then look at Ferdinand who was still holding the frozen gem.

"Hand that over to me, I'll restore the bodies of the dead along with this entire island. After that, I'll bind the souls in the gem to their bodies so they can resurrect. And David, please cancel the Ice Magic."

The two immediately comply.

"Thank you."

After I received the gem, I immediately put it in my pocket world.

We could then hear the the sounds of incoming jet ski which makes me panic as I don't want to talk to the incoming people.

I immediately release all the dead bodies of the people who died here in Marinduque and place them in neatly on the ground.

"I will begin my magic now."

I then weave a huge amount of mana and amplify the effects using my magic staff.

My Grimoire then begun to flick the pages and stop when it reach my desired spell.

--Time Journey--

A huge holographic clock appears in the sky and everything that has been destroyed is restoring themselves little by little.

The cold bodies of the people are also healing themselves. The bones are getting connected again to each other, skins and muscles are growing back and even their clothes are returning to what they are before.

The Lich who witness my magic couldn't believe at want he saw. But I ignored him, I still couldn't forgot that he is the reason why they are all dead.

People also arrived one after another and inquired about the situation. Everyone has been worried about the Lich but the 4 special rank hunters talk to the people and assured them. The Lich didn't do anything as well and they saw me, not minding the Lich so they are a little confident that no one will rampage here. But the people still remained vigilant and keep a safe distance.

People begun immerging one after another and the family of those dead people who saw their love ones being restored by me are keep crying. They blamed the Lich which is with me right now. They didn't like seeing him alive.

The magic has stopped and everything return to normal. All the dead people look like only sleeping on the ground right now.

The love one's of these dead people begun walking to their corpse and hug them.

I controlled my mana and manipulate it to increase the volume of my voice.

"Everyone, please stay away from the dead people and stop crying. Don't make any loud sounds either. I will now revive them but none of you should disturb me. If I get interrupted and the soul of your love one escape my grasp. It's no longer my fault."

Everyone hear my words and happiness could be seen in their eyes. They immediately stood up and wipe their tears and stop wailing.

I immediately cast an invisible barrier that prevents souls from escaping, incase an accident occurs.

I then release the gem and break it. An orb like energy escapes from the gem and I controlled each of them and place them at the top of their bodies, which I could tell because of the bodies have remnants of its soul signature which has the same wavelength as their souls.
