After their heart-to-heart talk, both of the guys went downstairs to greet Qin Sheng's parents again. Yangxin is more confident this time.

Facing your "lover's" parents is nerve-wracking but Yangxin felt as if it will be easier this time.

He smiles sweetly at them and they did the same thing to him. They gesture him to sit in front of them as they eat their meals again.

Yangxin tries to keep his heart under control so he won't faint ever again, or it will be a big embarrassment to Qin Sheng, especially to his parents.

The whole dinner is silent and Yangxin believes that silence is never a good thing. He tries to clear his throat or think of a conversation start-up but his mind is still blank from all of the things that had happened to him.

From confessing his sexuality to his parents, getting kicked out of the house, getting rejected by his best friend who swore to be with him for the rest of their lives into meeting the CEO on a cold New Year's night, becoming his personal assistant and now, his lover.

Yangxin is not complaining but everything is just happening too fast. And his heart and mind can't comprehend everything all at once. He never felt something like this before.

All he wants is a happy and peaceful life. The life that he can enjoy slowly instead of a fast-moving life like this.

He doesn't hate it but he doesn't like it either.

"Yangxin, darling?"

His mind stops his thoughts when he heard Qin Sheng's mom calling out his name. He stares at the lady with a concerned face as he felt the coldness in his cheeks.

He damps the back of his palm to his face and felt wetness on it. That's when he realizes that he is crying in front of Qin Sheng's parents.

He vigorously wipes the tears out and exhales tremblingly as he looks at the lady in front of him. With a smile on his face, he smiles at the lady and answers her.

"Y-yes, Madam?"

Yangxin feels the wetness in his palms. He is clearly nervous after his crying antics. He is thinking that the Lin family had a bad impression of him now.

They would think that he is overdramatic and an attention-seeker. But that is not what Mrs. Lin shows him.

The lady's face softens and smiles at him.

"Young man, whatever is happening in your mind right now, always remember. Qin Sheng and we will always be here for you."

The message is short and sweet. But to Yangxin, it is way more than that. They appreciate where he is coming from. They knew that his problem would be solved when the time comes.

Finally, Yangxin smiles.

The smiles that Qin Sheng would love to see and the one that Yangxin would only share with him.

Mr. and Mrs. Lin watches how Qin Sheng looks at Yangxin lovingly as the latter starts to talk about inanimate things and how he laughs freely at his parents.

They look like a happy and loving family and if this is what Yangxin wants, this is what Qin Sheng would provide.

Dinner ends with laughter and Yangxin's last attempt of redeeming himself to Qin Sheng's parents.

That's when Mrs. Lin asks Yangxin to have a conversation with her on the balcony of the second floor, where they could talk freely with wine and some snacks.

Yangxin follows suit even though his mind is filled with other rounds of negative thoughts.

Mrs. Lin gestures him to sit down beside her as she pours her glass with red wine. Yangxin refuses her offer since the latter don't drink alcohol.

"So, what is bothering you, honey?"

The question is so sudden that Yangxin didn't have enough time to process what is being asked to him. His tears ended up falling again but this time, Mrs. Lin didn't stop him.

She watches him cry until he let all of his frustrations out. All of his sorrows and resentment towards his parents; he shows Mrs. Lin all of that.

He had shown vulnerability that the Lin's has been looking for a potential husband or wife of their son.

No wonder Yangxin wrapped their son around his finger without him knowing about it. Yangxin never thought that vulnerability is a weakness but according to his parents, it is.

So, Yangxin had been practicing to control this side of him but when the glass began to overflow where everything he had grieved for his parents was placed, it suddenly came out.

What is worst is that this vulnerability that he had been controlling showed in front of Qin Sheng's parents.

Mrs. Lin hugs him tightly and rubs the circle behind his back to calm the boy down. She doesn't know what kind of parents that the young man has but they are jerks for letting a man like Yangxin go.

After Yangxin cried at Mrs. Lin's shoulder, he starts to explain as to what is the heavy feeling that he had been carrying on even before meeting their son, Qin Sheng.

"Even my best friend hates me. I thought I would be free after coming out to them but, my father just called me with a bunch of names and kicked me out of our house.

My mom disowned me and removes me from the family tree and my grandparents forgot about me as if I didn't exist.

My brothers and sisters, even my cousins, stop from contacting me. None of them cared for me."

Mrs. Lin's heart broke after hearing these words coming out from Yangxin's mouth. She swears that his parents would suffer and regret the things that they did to this poor young man.

After their heart-to-heart talk, Yangxin fell asleep in Mrs. Lin's arms and the maid just called out Qin Sheng, who is having a discussion with a police officer.

In the subject of abduction and such. When his mother and father find out about it, they immediately called the family lawyers to sort this thing out.

While Yangxin is having his peaceful slumber, his sister is trying to ruin his life all over again.
