CHAPTER 17: MEETING LOVELY

With two months of settlements with Sophie's resignation. Then her business in Milky Way that she let her trusted employee to handle everything to her.

Lovely agreed to go with them as her new beginning with her son Steven. Henley got a house in the village near Jenson's place.

They still live together as they have in Milky Way. Tonight, they had a welcome back home party with the gang. They came home yesterday early morning with their luggage. Henley's apartment in Milky Way was up to sale or not. He wanted to dispose so that he will settle in his hometown for good. Maybe not for future generations purposes.

Doorbell rang in exactly seven o'clock in the evening. Sophie and Lovely were preparing foods for the gang while Henley played with Steven. He got up then carries Steven towards the door.

"Oh my, you are also good with kids." Ocean said as Henley opened the door.

Rhianna smiled while looking at the child. Both Jenson and Henna came in a minute.

"Well, come on in fellows." He said opening wide the door.

"Wow, look at that." Henna says as she roamed her eyes around the house when they walk inside.

Sophie came out from the kitchen, welcomes each one in the living room area.

"Hey people!" She kissed their cheeks one by one. "So good to see you all." She smiled as Steven walks towards her.

"You looked great Sophie. Is this something to do with transferring back home?" Jenson keen to her.

"Well, part of it yes, it is and I miss my family and you guys." She replied with a wide smile. "Let's group hugging please."

All of them were hugging each other as a group. Sophie was carrying with Steven in her arms. Steven was shouting suddenly.

"Mama…" He was pointing to her mother, Lovely.

All of them let go with each other while the rest were looking at the person who came out from the kitchen. She was a very attractive young woman smiling wide as she walks forward to them.

Henley introduced Lovely to them. "Hey guys, this is Lovely the one we told you about. She is our little sister now and this little guy is her cute son Steven." He said as he pinched Steven nose.

Sophie continued the introduction one by one so Lovely can familiar their names.

Henna was just there staring at her. She could not say a word but just stare. Lovely stopped in front of her too looking at Henna. Jenson was the one who whispered to her ears.

"Sweetie!" He whispered. Henna came back to her senses and smiled at Lovely.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Hi, I am Henley's twin sister, Henna. Nice to meet you Lovely. You are so pretty." Henna said as she smiled at her.

"Oh, not really but you are much prettier." She was pleased to reply. "Well, you all are good looking friends and sure I am going to be out of place in here." Sophie pouted when Lovely said that.

"You are kidding. I think I have seen you before but I could not think of were." Henna admitted as she still stares at her.

"Do you think that too?" Sophie asked Henna. "That was my first impression of her back then."

"Well, I am sure you have not seen me here in S City because this is my first time in this place." She replied.

"Ow, maybe not here and maybe it is somewhere." Henna laughed.

"Okay that is enough. Let us go to the dining area since all of you are here. Let us dig in some foods we prepared." Sophie stopped them for a while and leads to the dining table where many foods display on the table.

"So, you are the Lovely they keep on mentioning about." Rhianna's friendly smiled as she scooped some ice cream for dessert.

"Well, I hope it is not a bad topic about me I presume." She grinned.

"Oh no, my friends will not do something like that. Actually, it was a good way and they love your kid so much. I agreed to that because your son Steven was so cute, I hope one day I will bring my kids here to meet him." Rhianna said.

"Thank you and I love Sophie and Henley." Lovely said glancing to Sophie and Henley teary eyes. "And to all of you here. Also, for accepting me being part in your lives. Thank you." She added.

Sophie tapped her shoulder. "You are part of this family you know that. No need to thank us because you are the strongest woman I ever met."

"Just live a full life ahead with Steven and us too. We are here for you always." Henley smiled.

Lovely nodded while Henna who sat on her left side hugged her. Henna was still confused with the feelings she felt when she saw her for the first time. It was a good way feeling not a bad vibe actually.

"You are going to report tomorrow at the Coffee Angels." Sophie reminded Lovely. "It was Rhianna's branch so feel free to enjoy working there. Karen, her assistant is a very friendly and easy to work with."

"Oh, thank you sis." Lovely smiled.

"So, who will take care of Steven when you will go to work?" Henna asked.

"I was looking for a daycare center nearby." –Lovely

"Well, how about this? He can stay with me in my school. He can play with my Henson which is the same age as him. I have some people who can help me watch him." Henna offered.

Lovely could not say a word. She was speechless. She could not believe the goodness of hearts these people in front of her.

To think she was nobody. No family since the day she could remember. Her life at the orphanage was different though the nuns were so good at her. However, these newfound friends were something else. Since meeting Sophie and giving her and her son's home became fortunate to them.

"You do not have to worry about anything, Lovely. You are part of this growing family now and we are helping as one here." Jenson said.

"I heard you are planning to continue your college. My company offers scholarship. I will be sending you application form so that you will be giving a slot to it." Ocean added the offer.

Even she was holding Steven in her arms that were sleeping already. Lovely stood up quickly and bowed her head to them. "Thank you, thank you for all this goodness you share and offer to me. Thank you." She said tears slowly drop to her eyes.

"Ssshhh… we are family. And stop crying okay." Henna stood up and hugged her while crying too.
