My name is Mary Green, and although my name is for a girl I am a boy. My parents who named me expected a girl, so I was given the name of a girl. They didn't know that I was a boy until I was out of the womb, however, it was too late to change my name.

Growing up, everyone can already tell that I was being bullied for my name, at first I didn't mind it at all until it grew worse, thankfully I had friends who supported me, but an accident happened.

I didn't know how much that accident would change me, I myself did not even know I was in an accident.

I was in a state of coma for 3 years, there was no sign that I would ever wake up, and not even a slight movement was visible.

But a miracle happened, I woke up, but It was too late, I was never the same.

For them, I was simply asleep for 3 years, however, in my perspective, it was 15 years of agony and sorrow.

Nevertheless, everything is already over, and I was done suffering, I am also finished with my everlasting sleep.

I also made new friends, and one of them is a convenience store worker named Mark, the dude I am talking to right now.

So, my answer to that question is...

"Yes, but I don't want it now."

I am done caring about everything that happened before, all I have to do now is to look for the future.

"Well, it suits your taste... Don't forget to pay off that bet you made though."

I flinched. "LALALALA! I can't hear you."

"Hey! You bastard come back here now!"

I ran as fast as I could outside the convenience store, The automatic doors opened as I stepped in front of it, and I swiftly stepped out of the store where I am safe from his reach.

"Can't get me now sucker." I taunted him.

Mark's boss is quite a strict woman, so strict in fact, that whenever Mark steps outside of the store it is considered cutting work.

I remember the time when I first met his boss, she was really scary.

It was engraved in our minds and fully sculpted on how scary she looks, I still remember the time when Mark was being scolded for playing while on the job and I walked in at the wrong time and saw what looks like something that you see on a BDSM play. Heck, I even teased mark about it all the time.

As I was about to reach my house, I saw an unfamiliar girl right outside my house. She was wearing an article of really odd clothing that looked like something from ancient china, she also has a sword on the left side of her leg.

She's probably a cosplayer

Cosplayers this days really don't have any shame.

Still, that cosplay seems to be of high quality, her sword is also made of real metal. "Wow she put a lot of effort into that cosplay," I said to myself.

What is she doing outside of my house though?

"Excuse me, miss..." I reached out to her, but as I was about to get close to her, she unsheathed her sword and swung it at me, I manage to successfully dodge it but her actions is still weird.

"Woah, Woah, Woah miss calm down, we can talk about this." I tried to calm her down, but it didn't work, she was fully on guard instead, and her sword is also being pointed at me.

"^@%#&^@%^#@&^#@&%," she said.

What language is she speaking? I am quite confident about my world knowledge since my father is a diplomat, and I'm pretty sure the language she's saying is not from this world.

"%@$#^%@%@%#%@%#@%," She said again, but this time she was about to strike.

She dashed towards me and swung her sword horizontally, I dodged by shifting my area of gravity towards my back, after she saw me dodge her attack, she dashed and swung her sword towards me again, but this time it was an upward attack, I also dodged this attack by stepping at the right.

Attack after attack, she continued to slash me, but with every swing she does I swiftly dodge with ease, it went this way until it was sundown.

This time however she did not attack, she was exhausted by all of those attacks that she stopped, I used this as a one way chance chance to try and communicate with her.

"Listen here miss, I know you can't understand me, but attacking a random person out of nowhere can cause a little misunderstanding," I said to her while pointing behind my back.

This time she understood what I meant and looked behind my back, behind me are people whispering to each other and spreading gossip, they were looking at us with judgemental looks, seeing this she became embarrassed and tried to make herself look proper.

Looks like she understands this situation.

"Anyways miss, how about we go inside my house?" I suggested, but all she did were stare and turn her head confused.

"Oh, right I forgot."

I clapped to get her attention, I then pointed at myself then pointed at the house, and using my finger I tried to draw a house then pointed to myself again.

She looked at it confused at first, but she then looked behind her at the house and stared back at me.

I went onto the front porch and opened the door, I then followed it up with a hand gesture suggesting that we go inside the house.

After seeing the gesture she was a little bit on guard and held tight to the handle of her sword, but she couldn't do anything because my neighbors were watching.

She let go of the helm of her sword and swiftly went inside the house.

I then gestured for my neighbors to shu away like shuuwing a flock of birds, and of course, they all went away.

I can't believe that spell still works.

After that, I went inside the house and closed the door behind me, however the girl was still standing behind the door, it seems that she was staring at something.

I looked towards her line of sight and saw the slippers and shoes right in front of the hallway.

Ah! she probably doesn't know about removing their shoes right before entering the room.

So I proceeded to take my slippers off and stepped into the hallway.

Seeing this she also removed her sandals and followed me.

I walked across the hallway until I saw the living room, I then sat on the sofa and patted the sofa trying to lure her in sitting, seeing the gesture she then sat on the sofa, after a few seconds she stood back up again.

What's with this, is this her first time sitting on a sofa?

I then try to ease her by standing back up and sitting on the sofa again, proving that it's okay to sit down.

She stared at me for a couple of seconds and then slowly tried to sit on the sofa, after she sat down on the sofa her face transitioned to a face full of comfort.

I can't believe that a sofa is all I need to truly ease her down.

I stared at her face full of comfort for seconds and decided that I should give her a drink.

Seeing me get up from the sofa the girl also stood up but I stopped her and pointed at her then on the sofa. After seeing me point at the sofa, she understood that I want her to stay and sat back down again, but this time she was a little hesitant to sit back down.

I went to the kitchen and took a glass out of the cupboard, I then went to the fridge to search for something to drink, in the fridge there was tea, juice, and a jug full of cold water.

Something like juice will surely make her a little confused about what she drank, tea is also a little bit off to give to someone that isn't from this world, I should just settle with water, I took the jug of water and poured it into the glass.

Just as I was about to finish pouring water into the glass she appeared behind me.

"Ah!!! that surprised me." Hearing me scream she once again held the helm of her sword firmly.

I didn't even feel her presence.

I reassured her by gesturing that everything is alright, and after seeing my gesture she let go of the helm of her sword and got calm again. She's like a stray dog.

Now that she's in the kitchen might as well give her the water.

"Here have this." I gave her the glass of water, after seeing the water inside she grabbed it and instantly drank it.

Looks like she's pretty dehydrated.

Since she accepted the water I should probably try to talk to her... But she can't understand me whatsoever, what should I do? Oh right! I still have that spell.

I lifted my arms in front of her with the palms of my hand facing her head, then bam! a ray of light appeared out of my arm and fully engulfed the kitchen.

This scared her for a bit, but since she could understand me now there should be no problem talking to her now.

"It's ok miss, that was just a spell."

Hearing me talk, her eyes shined brightly full of surprise.

"I could understand you?"
