Falling off a cliff

It was a cold and stormy night. Nothing was visible from the naked eye. for a person to see in this darkness, one has to rely on instinct and other senses.

"You bitch come back here!" Someone hidden in the shadow screamed.

A scythe tied to a chain was rampaging all over the darkness, people who cannot feel the rampaging weapon died without a word.

"Glory for the demon queen!!!" A loud yell was heard all over the place.

The yell came after a loud thud of chains and a swift swish of the scythe. No one was able to stop it.

"Sister, where you." A small murmur came out of the girl's mouth. She was anxious... Not because of the dark but because that creature was never meant to be fought alone.

As she kept running the noise of the chains became louder. Even the noise of the storm was not enough to cover the noise of the rampaging chains.

"The noise got closer," the girl thought. The girl kept running and running until she tripped on some tree roots.

Immediately after, the chain slashed the surrounding trees revealing the luminescent moon.

Luck was on the side of the girl, but not for long.

"Found you." The creature said. Unlike the human-like girl, the creature had goat-like horns on its head, a face that resembles that of a cow, and a half body like a human.

The girl was surprised and scared of the creature, but... she isn't weak, she pulled out a sword from her waist and slashed the creature on its face, blinding one of its eyes.

"Augh!" The creature grunted. "You bitch," the creature then swung its weapon towards the girl, the girl who couldn't do anything to stop it, took the attack with her sword and was blown off to a nearby tree.

Blood erupted out of her mouth, her body was covered in pain, and more than half of her bones were broken, yet the girl still managed to get up to try to run away.

However, she hit a dead end.

Behind her was an infamous cliff known as the death's abyss where all of the people, who went down there disappeared and never came back. No one knows what's down there, even if the sunlight was visible the hole is still darker.

"Well, well, well, looks like the game of tag is finally over," said the one-eyed creature.

"Get away from me!" the girl yelled.

"Why wouldn't you just get over her and this will be over, you know the queen wants to get you." the creature suggested, he was ordered to take her back alive, even though the creature was strong, it was just a lackey following orders.

"I have to delay this so my sister could get here." the girl thought.

"If you think you could delay this, you're wrong." the creature said as if it were reading her mind, "The sisters you're proud of are now fighting one of the demon generals and getting beaten up to death by now, do you think she will still get here for you."

"That's..." Although her sister is strong, she wasn't on par with a demon general, not by herself.

"Looks like there's only one way out," the girl thought to herself as she looked behind her, the eerie aura of the cliff felt like pulling her to jump off it.

"There's no other choice, I have to jump" the girl strengthened her will, and jumped off the cliff.

"You bitch!" the creature sprinted towards the edge of the cliff and tried to save her with its chains.

But to no avail, the girl simply parried it off.

"I guess dying here is better than being a slave to that queen." She said while falling into what seemed like an endless hole.

"And that's how I got here."

"So you're saying you were chased by some creature, fell off a cliff, and ended up here?"

"Yes, that is correct." The girl this time however was scratch-free, with no injuries visible, and alive and well.

"First things first, are you okay? didn't you say half of your bones are broken?" No one can live for long if half of her bones are broken.

"About that... After I woke up from this world all of my injuries were healed for some reason, and not only that my body feels better than ever!" Looks like she's okay for now, she's even smiling comfortably because of the sofa.

Now the question is, how did she get here? The cliff that she fell off probably wasn't normal either.

"Anyways, what made you go to this house?"

Did she just randomly choose a house to stop by or something?

"I don't know, all I remember was that I was walking around the area with nowhere to go, then all of a sudden your house appeared."

So she was drawn in towards this house, huh?

It would be better if she can just return now before any big changes occur in this world, the butterfly effect is a scary thing.

I might have to confront someone because of this.

"Sigh~" Looks like I have to help her somehow, "What a hassle."

"Do you still remember where you woke up in this world?"

"Ah, yes I still do."

"Great, follow me, I'm going to give you new clothes to wear."

"Clothes?"

I stood up and went upstairs to my parent's room, the girl also stood up and followed me to the room.

I opened a drawer and picked up a bra and an underwear from one of the drawers, I opened up the cabinet and picked up a dress. "This should be fine."

"Here have this." I gave the clothes to her, but she just stared at them.

She took the bra by its strapper and stared at it for seconds, before asking," What is this for?"

"That's for your breast."

"My breast...?"

She stared at the bra and looked at her chest, realizing what it was for, she covered her breast with her arms and got embarrassed.

"I didn't know you were a pervert," she exclaimed.

"I'm not!" I got flustered "That's just clothes! go to the bathroom and change already."

I pushed her to the bathroom and closed the door on her. As she changed she kept asking questions like "How do I put it on?" or "What's this for?" to the stuff in the bathroom.

Now that I think about it... I forgot to ask her name, I rest my back at the bathroom door and asked. "What's your name again?"

To which she replied. "I can't tell you my name if you won't tell me yours."

This girl...

"Fine! My name is Mary, what about yours?"

"Mary? Isn't that a girl's name?"

"It is what it is, just tell me yours."

"Shea, just call me Shea." Shea? that's a pretty name.

"Nice to meet you, Shea."

"Nice to meet you too Mary."

Somewhere back in the girl's world.

"You lost her?" A chilling voice echoes across the room, it was from a throne covered in various skulls of different species, sitting on it is the infamous demon queen.

The creature that chased after the girl was now laying down on the ground, trying to apologize to the queen.

"She jumped off the death abyss, I couldn't follow her," the creature tried to explain himself.

But the queen didn't take this excuse, with a swift moment of her hand, both the creature's hands were now gone.

"Augh!" the creature grunted.

"I gave you a chance to prove yourself and you blew it!!!" This time with a swift downward slash of her hands both of the creature's legs disappeared.

"Ah!!!" The creature screamed.

"Your majesty please forgive my son." The father of the creature tried to appease the queen.

"My son is simply weak your majesty." The creature's father was not the same as his son. He was covered in tattoos in honor of his experiences, and his aura is different.

"Please let me go to the death abyss and search for her, your majesty, in return forgive my son."

"Are you asking for something in return?! Who gave you the right to ask for it!"

"Please forgive my rudeness your majesty, but please just give me this chance."

The queen glared at him for a second then sighed. She twisted her hand in a circular motion with a scarlet-like fire the creature's arms and legs were instantly healed.

"Since you're one of my generals I'll give you this chance. Bring your stupid son with you, so he could at least learn how to do his job properly." The queen imposed on the father.

Hearing this the father was overjoyed and his eyes were shining brightly.

"Thank you you're majesty, I'll be sure to bring her back alive." The father got up and quickly took his son's feet.

The queen stared at the creature's father dragging his son away from her chambers, as the doors of the chambers closed, the queen raised her hand and a shadow appeared beside her.

"Follow them." the queen ordered the shadow.

"As you please your majesty." The shadow then quickly dissipated out of thin air.

The throne chamber of the queen was now silent, and in that silence, a noise was heard.

"Please tell me your alright, my little sister."

Little did anyone know the true relationship between the demon queen and the girl, not even the clueless girl knows.
