I'm not just any other woman

Blu sauntered to the kitchen counter and as her scent wafted in Alohi's nostrils, she ignored the latter and prepared a watermelon pudding for herself.

"Leave Bram alone. He's mine." Blu broached a desperate subject that Alohi knew she would.

"An innocent lamb in front of the mighty Bram. I know women like you have some dirt under their sleeves. If you think Bram is gonna marry you, then you're mistaken." Alohi retorted back.

"He'll divorce you if I say so. You don't get to choose. He loves me and he'll do anything I say." Blu clapped back at her.

"Well, let the best woman win. Let me remind you that I'm not just any other woman, I'm his legal wife! No one knows about you, you'll always be his kept woman. He might be fucking you good but at the end of the day, he comes home to me." Alohi said firmly spiting her.

Blu had a false sense of security and without thinking twice, she snatched the knife from her and cut herself on the wrist.

"Ouch! It hurts...why did you do that? Bram look, your wife hates me so much that she has to make sure I'm gone to have you." She pretended to cry hard as Bram rushed to her side.

"Marina! Bring the medical kit. Be quick!" Bram ordered as he gave Alohi a cold stare. "Why did you have to do it? Have you finally had the guts to disobey my rules!" He thundered as Blu continued to make a scene.

"Bram, divorce her once and for all, she'll hurt you one day. She's a witch!" Blu resorted to anger.

"Stay still, the antiseptic stings." Bram handled her with care, something he never did with Alohi. She watched the two getting cosy with one another and decided to walk out before stopping in her tracks as Bram grabbed her arm painfully.

"Apologize to her, now!" He pulled her arm so hard straining it that she squealed.

"I didn't hurt her, she did that to herself." Alohi tried to defend herself but he still forced her to kneel down and apologize to Blu.

"I warned you beforehand that you might not like it if you disrespect the woman I love." He gripped her neck as she fell on her knees in front of Blu who couldn't help but smile.

"I didn't..."

"You're still denying it?" He slapped her hard across the face and that sent her sprawling to the floor. She creased her cheeks lightly as they burned, a thin drop of blood dripped from the corner of her mouth and Blu smirked devilishly, enjoying the turn of events.

"Baby, she's so full of herself, leave her alone. Let's eat the food I cooked for you before it gets cold. C'mon, leave that heartless being alone." Blu suddenly pulled Bram to her bosom.

"We're yet to finish this." He glared hard at his wife before joining Blu in the dining room.

Alohi who felt painful period cramps irritate her abdomen, slowly rose up and took her watermelon pudding and climbed the stairs while holding on to her painful tummy. Bram noticed how hurt she was but chose to ignore her.

"Do you like the food?" Blu startled the latter.

"Huh?"

"Eat your food." Blu smiled fondly at him but deep down she knew his man was starting to harbor feelings for his wife.

"Can we go shopping later?" She asked yet again and Bram nodded quickly. He alone knew how he was starting to get bothered by Alohi's pleas and agony. He had just slapped her a while ago and he couldn't seem to settle without giving it much thought. Blu scorned when he played with the food she had made an effort to make especially for him.

"Why are you not eating?" Blu asked.

"I think I'm full. I'll bring you to the hospital to have your wound checked. I don't want anything bad to happen to your wrist." He took her hand in his and squeezed it gently.

"If you say so." She lighted up her mood thinking he was so much worried about her.

"I'll get my car keys and we'll leave immediately."

"Okay." She muttered happily as she watched him ran up the staircase.

Alohi's cramps were getting worse and she had a hot water skin pressed on her bare abdomen. Her soft sobs made Bram halt in his steps and barged into her room to check up on her.

"I won't apologize to your so called girlfriend...leave me alone." She uttered bitterly breaking one of his rule deliberately unafraid of his punishment.

Bram whose hands itched to ease her pain, was determined to hold her in his arms and soothe her but decided against it. He was completely stunned with the way he was giving in, was he finally beginning to fall for her?

"I won't spare you even a bit if you keep messing with the people I love. Stay away from my woman!" He blurted out before slamming her door hard.

Angered by his own actions, he ran downstairs and went straight to his garage forgetting that Blu had been waiting for him.

"Hey there, what's happening to you?" Blu hoped into his Lamborghini.

"I have a meeting in the next thirty minutes....I have to rush." He lied.

"Is that why you are in a hurry? C'mon Bram, you're the CEO of Moreno Design and what have you. Chillax! You can boycott work if you want to, no one will scold you." Blu teased him.

"You're bad company." He said jokingly.

"Make me your wife and let's see who's getting burned first." She chortled but the latter didn't seem happy with the way she was becoming so confident with the idea of marriage. There was no way he was going to divorce Alohi soon. She wasn't allowed to get over him and that was the rule she had to abide by for her entire life as long as she was still married to him.
