Chapter 61. A New Day

"Oh… So yesterday all that happened! I am surprised! But I am very angry, Arthur-san!"

Yuri was very surprised to know the incident that happened. Since she wasn't present, she asked them after both of them reached the mansion.

Arthur and Violet both were expecting her to be surprised but never thought of her to be angry.

"What happened, Yuri-san?"

Violet being curious about her anger asked her. After living, it is undoubtable that the relationship between both the girls is very good. Having Arthur as a common topic became a very useful catalyst for both the girls to become close.

"I am very angry at you, Arthur-san and even at you Violet. Both of you went to meet the Guru and didn't even call me."

Yuri pouted making a very cute face having the mixture of cuteness and sadness. Arthur looked at her and just sighed. He seemed to forget the blind admiration people have over the Sage and Guru.

"Well, don't be so angry. I am sorry."

Arthur came near her and apologized, a bit embarrassingly. It was a very surprising for him to apologize. Yuri looked at him being embarrassed and then after a hum, she still persisted to make angry face.

"I won't forgive so easily!"

"Sigh! Then, tell me what you want to forgive me?"

Knowing she wants something, Arthur sighed thinking girls are really devious. Obviously it was not his fault, but somehow he was starting to feel guilty for making her angry.

"…ate."

"What? What did you want to say, Yuri?"

"Date! I want to go in a date with you!"

While Arthur was indeed surprised, it was nothing that hard for him. So, he of course agreed to it. He remembers seeing so many such scenarios in anime and manga, but surely they won't happen in real life.

Right?

"Well, I can go with you."

Listening to his reply, Yuri smiled like a happy maiden making the atmosphere full bubbly.

And Violet near side him was fully baffled at the move her rival played. She never expected Yuri to use Arthur's guilt against him.

Even though she has been with Arthur from childhood, she still has yet to go on a date with him.

'Next time, I will not fall back!'

She under her façade of poker face, made this decision.

"Well now, don't talk much and let's go to academy. We are going to be late."

All of them dressed up in the regular uniform and departed towards the academy. Arthur thought of using the <Gate> to academy, but then seeing both the girls, he thought it would be good if he can spent more time walking down with them to the academy.

"Morning, August."

Arthur entered and saw August and his retainers standing together as usual in group.

"Oh! Morning, Arthur."

Violet and Yuri also greeted the prince and then moved to greet the fellow girls who were present in the class.

"It seems Shin hasn't arrived yet."

Arthur looked all around but still couldn't see the figure of the troublemaker.

"He is a bit late since he has to accompany ladies."

"Oh! It seems spring is not far away for him."

Both of them laughed. Then August suddenly said something which made him flinched.

"By the way, haven't your spring arrived yet?"

"!!!"

"Well… What can I say? I know but since it is first for me, I don't know what to do."

Arthur became a bit red, giving a total different aura than his usual making him a bit more human like and approachable.

"Don't worry. I will teach you the ways."

August who was amused at him, crossed his arm on his shoulders like a big brother, promising him to show him the ways of love.

"You and teach me the ways?! Do you have a girlfriend?"

"Gaah!"

An imaginary arrow pierced August which made him mentally bleed. Thor and Julius who looked at their prince hurt, quickly came to protect him.

"Prince August, has no girlfriend. But he has a fiancée."

As if retorting Arthur and to show the majesty of August they replied him. But how could they win in tongue battle against a modern man?

"Fiancée? Oh! But it means his family chose it for him. he never has got a girlfriend on his ways, has he?"

"Gaah!"

One more arrow pierced him.

"B-But…"

"Don't try, Thor. It seems that the prince who boasts is still too green."

"Gaah!"

And fatal arrow! Prince fainted with too much emotional damage!

"Prince!" x2

And with that Arthur wins the fight.

"Morning, Shin. And of course, Cecily and Maria as well."

Arthur turned as soon he felt the familiar magic power. Being a veteran magician with the title of strongest hunter, how could he not sense someone.

"Good morning to you as well, Arthur. By the way what is with August? Why he is so depressed?"

He looked at August who was on the desk with depression. Black aura of sadness was continuously oozing out of him.

"Oh! It is nothing. He just got a taste of his medicine."

August who noticed Shin quickly stood up, vigoured to take all out on Shin. Despite his looks, August is quite an avenger.

Since he could not defeat Arthur, he turned back to his usual target – his best friend Shin.

"As expected of you, despite being just admitted you are already friendly with the girls."

"Morning Aug. And you are too noisy. Also, you know the reason why!"

Shin blushed a bit and then retorted back.

'Is someone coming?'

Arthur who was looking at both of them, felt a presence from outside.

"I am here! Did I make it in time?"

A girl, with very small stature just like a small child was smiling with overflowing energy. And from the uniform it seems like she is indeed the student of S class.

'Who is She?'

Even though Arthur is in the class, he is yet to meet up with everyone personally. Violet replied knowing what his was thinking in his mind.

"She is Alice Corner."

Arthur nodded and remembered her name back of his mind. At least he should remember the names of the classmates.

The girl – Alice talked with Shin and then sat on her seat as soon the homeroom teacher arrived.

"Good morning, everyone. Homeroom is starting, so everyone take your seats."
