chapter 3- how?

"How are you doing that?"

Confusion flashed across my face. "D-Doing what?" I whispered softly. Somehow I felt that if I spoke to loudly I would shatter the the calmness and enrage and beast.

"How can you still move? How are you unaffected by my magic?"

"M-Magic?" My ears perked up at the word. Magic was something everyone could use but I was practically impossible for me. Something in my felt locked up and it was just blocked out of reach from me.

"I-I don't know, I can't use magic could that be why?" Fiddling with my fingers I mumbled out a the question then grimenced as the pain in my head began to throb.

"That's not possible every living thing has magic." sniffing me he grunted out.

"I have it, I just can't use it!" I yelled in a broken sob. My blood was boiling. I hated when I was belittled.

A low rumble erupted in front of me. I looked back up and saw a pissed off man. His teeth were showing as he growled at me.

Gasping I held my head down, "Sorry! I'm sorry I didn't mean to yell at you."

The audible intake of air could be heard above me but I kept my head down. I feared that if I moved it would only anger him some more.

The presence of a hand on my neck made me flinch and I moved forward to get away from it. Bumping right into him and was once more met with a growl but this time is was short and low but the power behind it was clear.

His hand once more moved to my neck and I hid my face in his chest and gripped his shirt waiting.

The grip on my neck was painful but was quick. Trembling I sobbed lightly as I clinged onto him not moving. The soft rumble could be hear in his chest.

"What is your name?" He huffed out.

"A-Aki." I rushed it out as I curled myself into a ball. By this point I was sitting on his lap but I didn't care since he didn't seem to and I was to scared to even move from my position anyways.

"Aki how old are you?"

"Nine?"

"Tsk!" He growled out in annoyance making me flinch. I quickly let go of him and tried to get off of him but this seemed to anger him even more. "STOP!"

His loud roar caused me to freeze and soon the murmurs and rustling of footsteps began to act up outside the shed.

"Who told you to move, come here!" Grabbing my arm he pulled me onto his lap once more. His breathing grow heavy with each passing moment. Raising his hand his growled, "Submit! Why do you not submit to me?"

Freaking out I tried to talk but ended up biting my tongue. The taste of blood filled my mouth and then all of a sudden my face was grabbed.

His eyes scanned my face, "Where do you bleed from? Tell me now." His grip strengthened and he bared his teeth.

Clenching my eyes shut I whimpered. His grip lightened up thus allowing me to stick out my tongue. The gash was deep since my teeth were extremely sharp.

"Why did you bite your tongue?" His disbelief coated his voice thickly and then something was upon my lips.

Opening my eyes I saw his looking into my own as his body wrapped around my shoulder keeping my locked in place. The feeling of his tongue invading my mouth felt weird. I tried to push it out but soon it was like they were dancing with each other. He felt around and slowly caressed my mouth from top to bottom. I was slowly getting lightheaded and began to beat upon his back.

Letting go of me he laid me down and I felt weightless. My eyes seemed to blur and even my head was spinning. I couldn't understand what just happened.

A slight rub on my cheek let me now he was still there, "I'll be back soon."

Sleep soon took over my mind and darkness filled my vision.
