Why do I always have to kill myself?

Eventually, Luna managed to get away from him, she ran toward her apartment in a desperate way to hide from his sight, he only walked her back to the complex then he continued his way .

Luna only wanted to be alone and not with anyone because whenever she was with someone she had to pretend that she was someone she is not .

She entered her bathroom and sat on the seat of her toilet, it felt like the safest place to be right now, she had to think more of everything that was happening .

' A kiss? I was thinking about a kiss. Of course, I looked very bad in his eyes, but still, he didn't have the right to act that way with me, I didn't consent to that , I would never consent to something like that, to begin with '

Luna sat there for half an hour until she calmed down for a bit then she changed her clothes and headed to her bedroom. She was not going to exit this room unless the world was falling apart .

She lost all the energy she had with that encounter and that's why she just stayed in her bed for a recharge.

In the previous times, she never had time to rest for herself, she was always so much going on with her life to even be acting as she used to do before she died.

She took the smartphone that was just there next to her and started searching for something to watch, a lot of romantic drama that sounded very interesting, however since she lived in this life wanted something to help her survive and that is how she ended up watching a horror movie about fighting demons.

'Well it is very scary even if I am watching it in the morning, it is still frightening because I am watching it alone '

Luna was so invested in the movie, that after an hour she was just completely about her encounter with Liam, and she started praying for the main character of that movie to survive .

Her phone ringing interrupted her the moment she was scared the most, she shouted :" Shi****t , that was so scary , my heart skipped a beat, I think my heart almost stopped, who is calling me at this early hour ?"

She threw her phone away because of the surprising call, so she had to grab it again, she checked if her phone was not broken in any part, then she finally read the name of the person calling her.

It was Rose's number, she automatically answered her and then said:" Where were you this morning ? I waited for you for a long time "

" Wait, what ? You didn't get the photos I sent you last night on the ….app? "

" You sent me a message ? "

" Yes, I sent you photos of that stupid orphanage, there is no way I was going to volunteer there, even Joseph didn't want to go , and yeah he spent the night in my apartment …we had a lot of fun, you know," Rose said recklessly as nothing happened .

She knew that Luna never used that app, she created an account there because of her constant nagging .

Luna felt so sick of keeping talking to her because Rose was never going to admit that she did something wrong .

" Hey, what are you doing later? " Rose asked when she felt that Luna was upset about her .

" Sleep , I want to sleep, " Luna said firmly .

" Sleep ? Who are you? An 80 years old lady ? We should have fun, You should meet us today, ``Rose said sarcastically .

There was no doubt that Joseph was laying there next to her, and that is why she was just acting that way .

' I really hate it when she acts this way, she does this all the time, it is very annoying ' Luna thought .

" Maybe next time" Luna answered, trying not to make her go wild and come to visit her .

" Okay, tomorrow then, " Rose said before she ended the conversation .

'I didn't say tomorrow, yet she is saying it that way '

Luna held on to her phone again and lay on her bed, and started to watch the movie again, she was now out of the mood for watching .

Somehow that call she got from Rose ruined all her capacity to follow up with the events of that movie .

She just stood up and started to cook a meal for herself while waiting for her anger to go away, until she heard a talk that was going on outside .

She headed to the door and stayed behind, she heard Liam's voice, then she noticed also Olrath's voice.

' He is talking to his demon, I guess he came back after he helped them'

" Did you plan out today's deaths ?" Olrath said .

" No worries, easy targets for today, because I am so tired"

" The weather is perfect , the rain is our perfect cover" Olrath suggested .

" I need to go elsewhere, so don't try to go out of the script " Liam said firmly ending that conversation.

Luna moved away from the door at that moment, she was so afraid that they might feel her presence there and that she would be caught up in such a situation .

' I am not surprised that he is the one suggesting the deaths, I think he loves it this way, for a second what I saw today made me feel like …maybe he had this gentle side for sure, but no …he is not that type of person, he is not..'

Luna at that moment got her shi**t together because this man was never going to hesitate to kill, he will always do that and no one was going to stop him, not even her.

' But why ? Why did I always end up the one not killed by him? Why do I always have to kill myself? '

She thought as she started to move back to her kitchen, she hated him the most because he never killed her when he killed her entire clan, it felt like he enjoyed doing it that way .

"I will never forgive that bastard for what he had done to me "
