A week passed, and Luna kept her distance from everyone around her, Joseph was acting very weird, he never acted that way but since the night he got drunk and hugged and got clingy towards her he started to act very weirdly.

Luna knew that it was something related to her friend but she couldn't prove it or do anything about it .

She was his best friend, she knew him more than he knew Rose, she accepted everything that comes with their relationship, and she tried so many times to keep acting like Isa, her character but this time was so different.

Surprisingly, she didn't meet Liam a few days after that night, it was like he disappeared somehow, she couldn't hear any noises inside his apartment and she didn't see him at university, it is not like she was looking forward to meeting him, however when he was in front of her in daily basis it was so easy for her to track his moves .

She was already lost because of that, yet she kept her calm till the last moment.

The only person that Luna reached out to was Rose, for days she only thought of the possibility of losing both of her friends because of this misunderstanding, and how lonely she was going to be without them .

' This never happened, they were always here, they were always a constant event and I really can't think of an idea to fix things between us'

At this moment, she felt like she returned to point zero again, alone, isolated, and sad .

Luna was already having so many thoughts, he was not used to calling for her and her brain drift her thoughts in a very horrible direction

" Hi uncle, how are you ?How's auntie !" She tried to be cheerful like always, however, something was not feeling right.

" Isa dear ,Rose…Rose is…"

His voice was shaking, she could tell that he was either shouting or crying before talking to her, she felt her heart skip a bit as he said : "She is no longer with us" His voice cracked as he added :" Anymore ".

Luna couldn't analyze what he just said, she stayed silent for a while before laughing then saying : "Is she coming to visit !"

"Rose is dead, " Her father said firmly.

"What do you mean ! What do you mean by that ? " Luna was irritated at this point .

Luna didn't notice that she was yelling at him but he said with a suffocated voice : "They both are" .

"Both ! What do you mean uncle ? I don't understand !"

"Joseph and Rose…are dead "He shouted at her.

She was not going to understand, he had to wake her up from that shock by yelling at her, and he was impatient too, he was not going to stand there and make her feel good at times like these.

What …What ? What ? I can't understand what he wants to say, why is he talking gibberish so suddenly '

She couldn't understand what he was saying, her brain shut down for a second, and the first thing she thought about was the novel…

Luna didn't even shed a tear while being in that state, she just closed her eyes and gave her body a bit of rest that it deserved.

The rain was so heavy out there, that her eyes stayed closed, it felt like she couldn't even open them yet she stayed conscious all night listening the rain falling outside as if it was crying for her .
