Predicaments Part (1)

The worms were relentless as they charged at the boar, which the boar attacked all of them killing them in the confrontation but what was weird was when they died they let out the same weird shriek.

I was still enjoying the show though as I remembered watching a live dog vs dog fight before and the ruthlessness of them is not even close to what the boar had done.

As if I was a worm and came upon a scene of yellow blood everywhere I would definitely run away but these worms are either mad or have a great sense of camaraderie as they keep rushing towards the boar with intent to kill.

But only 4 out of the 10 were able to get a final bite in before they died doing the same weird shriek which was different from their annoying anger one as well as very ominous as if they should be silent before they let it out.

In the end the boar won but it was now walking much slower than before and walking away from the direction the worms came as if it was scared for some reason as I didn't know why as when I looked around there was no other animal which could threaten it.

It was not until I heard screeches which caused the boar to start running away staggering though. It was then I saw 30 of the worms burrow from the underground in the site of the massacre which the boar had caused.

They immediately scanned the area then rushed toward the boar. This was then I finally understood why it felt so weird the worms were doing a death call to call others to finish it off but now I'm wondering why the boar left but how did they find the direction it was going.

I followed through the trees using Air burst as even if I caused a lot of noise it would be drowned out by the sounds of the worms.Five of the worms burrowed quickly into the ground heading to the boar which when they revealed themselves sprung up and cut off the boars path.

The boar tried to retaliate but one of the worms latched on to the eye socket of the boar causing it to squeal in pain, thrashing about which successfully caused the worm to fly off in the air towards a direction, yep my direction.

Because I was in mid air and was so interested in the fight I did not take notice of my surroundings and before it reached me instantly used an air cannon on the flung worm which caused yellow blood to splatter and the green mucus to cover some parts of my clothes.

I killed one but now I truly regret using the Air cannon. This smell will definitely stain my clothes and may never wash off.

I was disgusted by the smell of the mucus and wanted to retch and I thought ' I definitely need a bath with soap after this adventure, next time Aero shield when dealing with these things'

Nile just shook off the mucus while some remained and then finally went back to the ongoing battle taking place.

The boar was trapped and could only fight to the end but what was strange is that facing the attacks of these worms they only bit it and its movements started to stiffen.

The boar had a look of fear in its face and me a look of confusion as to why something that is doing such little damage is defeating you even with high numbers. Seeing the oddity I concentrated my Quantum eyes at the mouth of the worms disgusted seeing the inside of its mouth.

This was when I noticed the teeth were secreeting some white translucent liquid like venom. Now I understand they were poisoning the boar, weakening it until it could no longer fight back.

The venom could definitely help making the first poison magic spell as I couldn't just go to someone in the town and say I want poison no matter how discreet this caused a smile on my face as I was hidden in the foliage of the tree but then a frown came as i have to touch the stuff.

Back to the boar its movements were stiffening and Nile could guess it was probably paralytic poison which causes the nerves to become numb and a person or animal poisoned by this will have stiff movements.

This was scary. Not only do you call friends if you're going to lose but you poison them so that the rest will kill them and if not that group then the next and the next again.

This is definitely a colony type demon breast and this is considered rank 10. Well I wonder what's a rank 9 then do I have to fight a Dragon or even a fox spirit dang it.

The battle between the boar and the worms finally ended with the boar incapacitated as being injected with poison it was over from the start.

The next thing is that the worms ate the boar causing it to die from blood loss. There were only circular cuts as if being sawed out of the boar and after 15 minutes only bones were left as it seemed as if they were a voracious bunch.

They then passed by the tree I was hiding in to return to their nest I think but that was when all of them stopped at my tree and screeched at it like it was their mortal enemy .

I was frightened wondering how the heck did they find me. They circled around the tree trying to jump up but I was too high up and I didn't want to deal with them until they led me to their nest to exterminate it.

Because they couldn't get up I smiled then all burrowed underground and I had the ominous feeling as it was too late the tree started shaking after 2 minutes then started falling down with me in it.
