Walking into the Beasts Lair part (3)

" I've finally reached this place that looks completely desolate as I would picture from a worm's nest. '' I said with relief as the journey was long and arduous especially with the holes everywhere that just makes it more troublesome.

Upon arrival I saw some cylindrical figures sticking from the ground, unable to make out what it was. I activated my Quantum Eyes with this I could see very well and even deduce things as needs be.

On activating my Quantum Eyes what I saw was basically from those monster movies back on earth as if someone saw this back there instantly they would be running in the other direction.

These things were the size of a cat not only that they had 8 glowing purple eyes that shone with monstrous desire and the teeth, a whole mouth filled with teeth aligned in a circle.

And their white translucent skin gives people shudders. Honestly I don't know who made these creatures exist but they must be one heck of a person to make something that I just call ugly.

To not alert them by using air burst on the soles of my shoes to jump up to a tree that serves as a great vantage point to scope out the area.

I then saw the two worms were agitated by something and turned to look in the direction of some rustling bushes and what was found was a Long horned boar, a delicacy that is found everywhere in the continent.

When I looked toward the boar that exited the bushes it was in the direction of both the worms, both worms let out a horrifying shriek that the boar ignored as if it was not bothered by the two worms.

I could see why as the boar was at least waist length to a human not to mention it had a long thick horn in the center of it's head which look quite menacing as imagining getting gutted by it this natural weapon of the boar allows it to exude confidence in not losing.

This horn is deadly too as it is mostly used to craft or be mixed into different materials as weapons due to the durability. If only I had that now I could try forging magic weapons.

As I watched to see what will happen as I have no information on their behaviors but seeing the rank of the mission it must mean that it is really weak.

So I will just watch and observe as the mission stated I need to Cull 30 of these Saw toothed worms to complete the mission.

While I was thinking about this the battle suddenly started and I focused my entire attention even using my Quantum eyes to see everything as to make plans on killing them as in this world its never too bad to be cautious.

The battle has started. The worm closest to the boar immediately leaped from the ground as if it was a spring toward the boar then the boar just used its horn to smack it out of the air.

The worms writhed in pain a bit but still got up while the other circled the boar from its companion's initial start of the attack.

The second lunged at the boar from the side aiming at the hind leg of it and was met with retaliation as soon as the worm was close the boar lifted its hind leg and stomped at the mid section causing the worm to shriek out loudly but with it's tenacity it still bit the boar in the situation it was in.

The boar was angered by the little injury and just kicked away the worm like trash as the worm's body crashed into a tree exposing the yellow blood from its injury.

I noticed that the boar had some weird gooey green saliva coming from its wound immediately disgusted by the fact that it came from the worm's mouth.

It finally succumbed to its wound and died but not before letting out a weird shriek completely different from the others, making me confused.

The other worm seeing this was angered and burrowed underground causing the boar to look around in confusion. It was only until the boar quickly moved from its spot before I saw the same worm spring out from the spot the boar was.

The worm had a look of confusion maybe as it had missed its target and the boar instead of waiting for the worm to recover its state of confusion immediately charged at it aiming its horn which pierced though as the boar ran at an incredible speed.

It was then piece in a tree that was in the direction of the charge then thinking that the boar had won as it had killed both the worn pierced by the horn ejected its mouth biting the snout of the boar which creeped me out.

' It can eject it's mouth good lord what's wrong with you you gave them everything that makes people just want to hurl them into a fire pit' I thought as if I went against these I would probably be surprised as the distance the mouth ejected was extremely long and cover in green mucus.

The worm still died but it bit the boar just like the one before. It was very confusing as to why they would bite the boar when they are going to die anyway. Maybe it's like I know I'm going to die but at least I need to leave something on you to show that I fought.

The boar shook off the dead worm and used the dirt to wife off the substances left on its body. It was then going to turn around and leave but not until I noticed some noise which was noticed by the boar as well.

It was more of those worms they stopped to look around seeing their two dead companions. They let out a shriek of hatred and charged towards the boar, which turned around to meet the creatures that caused the noise.

It looked ready for battle as if saying ' You really don't know what's good for you just look at what I did to your friends'
