I'm Batman (HP Xover)

Just shortly after a 10-year-old Bruce Wayne lost his parents to an armed robber in a dark alleyway, a stray bullet somehow managed to lodge itself in the now orphaned young billionaires chest, killing him shortly after his mother and father. A new Bruce Wayne is born from the ashes of this tragedy and he knows a lot about this new world he’s just entered. Oh, and this is a Harry Potter crossover too. (A/N: I’m back and I’m nervous. [You wake up in a large basement with a chain locked around your legs and a bomb in the middle of the room. It's counting down with only 10 minutes left. On the lock of the chain around your legs is a slot that's labeled power stones. Put in all of your power stones and the chain will release, letting you leave before the bomb explodes. If you're out of power stones, there's a handsaw next to the bomb. It won't work on the chain though...]

"I'll see you inside, Ms. McGonagall." Bruce says as he takes his leave.

"Uhm, yes, of course." She replies as a guard begins patting her down and finds a wooden stick in her sleeve.

"A wand? Really?" One of them asks sarcastically.

"Be respectful, let's not mock Master Bruce's guest." Alfred reprimands as he takes the wand and looks it over.

"Yes, Sir." He replies as he turns towards the witch. "I apologize, Mam."

"It's alright, can you return my wand to me please?" She asks with a pitiful look.

"No, you can have it back on your way out." Alfred replies curtly.

Once the search was complete, Alfred led her in and showed her to the living room, where Bruce was waiting impatiently.

He was excited as this person looked exactly like her counterpart from the Harry Potter Movies.

The only thing left to do was for her to prove that she could use magic.

"Hello again." Bruce says as he stands and holds his hand out towards the witch.

"Hello, Mr. Wayne." She grasps his hand and shakes it.

"Have a seat." Bruce gestures to the sofa across from him as he takes a seat once again.

"Thank you." She replies with a tired sigh as she sits.

Truly this has been the most complicated muggle student's home visit she's ever been through, and possibly the most wealthy muggle-born she's ever met.

'At least the school won't have to pay for his supplies and tuition. The budget has been taking hit after hit lately.' Minerva thought as she looked around the lavish living room and saw many expensive-looking objects and paintings.

"Once again I'd like to apologize for the welcome you've received. My parents were very nice and welcoming people, but they died due to a lack of security." As soon as Bruce says this, Minerva can see the Butler sanding protectively behind Bruce frown sadly for just a moment.

"I understand, Mr. Wayne." She says amicably.

"So let's get down to business, shall we? You're the professor the letter spoke of?" Bruce asks.

"Yes, I teach Transfiguration at Hogwarts." She answers with a stern smile.

"What's that?" Bruce asked curiously.

He knows from the movies but he may have to learn soon so it's best to ask questions.

"In its basic form transfiguration is the art of changing the form and appearance of an object with magic. It gets more complicated in later years though." The Professor explains.

"Can you show us?" Bruce asks.

"Yes, but I would need my wand back." She says and looks in Alfred's direction.

Looking over his shoulder, Bruce held out his hand towards his trusty butler.

"Master Bruce..." Alfred says as he withholds the wand.

"Magic isn't real, right?" Bruce uses Alfred's earlier words against him.

Letting out an exasperated sigh, Alfred hands over the pointed stick he confiscated earlier. As soon as Bruce takes the wand, Alfred gets ready to grab his gun just in case she tries to use the stick as a weapon.

"Here you go." Bruce hands over the wand to a very relieved Minerva McGonagall.

"Thank you." She says as she flicks her wand and wordlessly turns the coffee table between them into a moving and lifelike male lion.

"Wow..." Bruce mutters in wonder.

"My god..." Alfred says in fright as he draws his gun and aims it in the direction of Minerva and the lion.

"Does this clear your doubt?" The Professor says with an air of confidence.

Especially now that she has her wand in hand. She should be able to defend against the pistol aimed at her now. Though she isn't quite sure as she's never dealt with one before.

The large majority of wizarding kind don't even know what a gun is unless they're muggles borns, so the fact that she knows what she does is admirable.

"Yes, I would say you made a believer out of us." Bruce says as he stares at the lion in amazement.

"Haha, this is the reason I love doing these home visits. The reaction of children when they see the wonders of magic is truly a sight to see." She says with a smile and waves her wand again, turning the lion back into a table.

"Was it alive?" Bruce asks, not paying any attention to his butler, who still has his gun drawn with a pensive look on his face.

"No, it was just an imitation." She says and turns to look at Alfred with a raised brow.

Seeing this, Bruce turns and sees Alfred's current condition.

"Magic isn't real, huh?" Bruce says with a laugh as he puts his hand on Alfred's arm, lowering the gun towards the floor.

"Master Bruce now isn't the time for such childish behavior." Alfred replies sternly, trying to regain his former poise.

Alfred's words just make Bruce laugh more as it's rare for his trusty butler to lose his cool like this.

"So, what do I have to do to enroll in Hogwarts?" Bruce asks with a small smile on his face.

"You would have to pay tuition and get your supplies, which is why I'm here. Do you have a guardian?" She asks as they would usually be the ones making the payments.

"Yes, that would be Alfred." Bruce motions towards the butler behind him. "I don't have any living family members, so he's taken the guardian role."

"I see." She says and turns her attention to Alfred. "If you and Mr. Wayne agree to attend Hogwarts, we would need to leave and get his school supplies today..." she says and goes on to explain the difference in wizarding money compared to the British pounds.

About £5 can be exchanged for a single Galleon at Gringotts wizarding bank, which is a steal considering a Galleon is supposed to be a gold coin.

"How much money should we bring for the supplies and tuition?" Bruce asks.

"Hmm, it's 7,000G's for 7 years worth of tuition, which is the full school year. Then It costs about 300G's for the basic supplies. More if you want to get some high-end clothes, trunks, or a pet."

"£36,500..." Bruce says and turns his head towards his trusty butler. "Take £100,000 from the safe. In case anything interesting crosses my eye while we're out."

"Are you sure you want to go to this school, Master Bruce? It doesn't sound safe..." he says but Bruce waves his concerns off.

"What could possibly happen." Bruce shrugs, knowing a lot will happen since he's seen the movies.

Though the allure of magic is too enticing to resist.

(A/N: Hey, I'm thinking of yoinking Hedwig before Harry Potter gets her. Should I change the name or keep it the same? I can't decide. I have a list of snow goddess names but none feel right. So keep Her name or give a new one. If a new one then comment it here and I may choose it.)
