I'm Batman (HP Xover)

Just shortly after a 10-year-old Bruce Wayne lost his parents to an armed robber in a dark alleyway, a stray bullet somehow managed to lodge itself in the now orphaned young billionaires chest, killing him shortly after his mother and father. A new Bruce Wayne is born from the ashes of this tragedy and he knows a lot about this new world he’s just entered. Oh, and this is a Harry Potter crossover too. (A/N: I’m back and I’m nervous. After Alfred read the whole letter from top to bottom with an incredulous look, Bruce snatched it and his eyebrows shot up almost instantly as his mouth hung open.

"Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry?" Bruce read the first line of the letter out loud.

After reading the whole letter in a state of shock, Bruce looked at Alfred as if to ask if he just read the same thing.

"It's probably some over-the-top joke or festival advertisement, Master Bruce."

"Yeah, Maybe..." Bruce says as he stashes the letter away and continues eating at a slow and subdued pace.

'Did the Harry Potter books come out early in this world?' Bruce thought as he couldn't believe this would be a crossover world.

If so then how many other fictional worlds could be mixed in as well?

Also, how could he be a wizard?

During the entire year of his time in this world, Bruce hasn't experienced a single bout of accidental magic.

Sadly the time before that is absolutely blank, so he wouldn't know for sure.

At first, Bruce wanted to go out and check the nearest library for Harry Potter books, but he decided to just enjoy his birthday and see if any Hogwarts Professors arrive as the letter said.

If someone actually shows up, then Bruce will start to believe, but until then, he would simply do what he's been doing until now.

The night he received the letter, Bruce couldn't help but try to practice magic alone in his bedroom.

The possibility of having magic got the better of him so he tried to experiment with different ideas.

For the whole night, Bruce was acting like a child who just watch Naruto and thought he had superpowers. Taking different stances while trying to levitate random objects, or meditating to find his inner magic.

He even tried pronouncing some spells he remembered from the movies, but sadly nothing seemed to work.

After that night, Bruce gave up and decided to just wait for the arrival of the professor. That is If they're even real.

-2 days later-

As Bruce was practicing his hand-to-hand combat with Alfred outside on the large balcony of his penthouse apartment, a member of his security interrupted them.

"Sir, there's a... witch-looking woman downstairs. She's asking to speak with Master Bruce." He says looking between Bruce and Alfred with a look that says 'should I send away the crazy person?'

"Send her up!" Bruce orders before Alfred could mutter a single word.

He was actually starting to get excited now. If he's really a wizard then this is great.

The biggest weakness of Batman is his lack of superpowers. Of course, he planned to fix that later on, but some built-in superpowers would be much appreciated.

Wiping off his sweat with a towel, Bruce enters the apartment and waits for the witch to arrive.

Alfred follows behind him with a puzzled frown.

"Master Bruce, you know magic isn't real right?" Alfred asks, knowing this has to do with the letter they received just a few days ago.

"Sure, but what if it is?" Bruce replies as he hears a commotion outside his apartment door.

Getting up, Brice opened the door to see 4 of his suited guards arguing with a tall, stern-looking woman with black hair and a pointed witch hat. Her clothes also looked old and outdated, as if they were from the 18th century.

"I'm sorry, Mam, but if you want to meet Master Bruce you'll have to allow us to search you." One guard says in exasperation.

"No, that's a breach of my privacy. Now let me through I have an appointment with a student." She says as she tries to push past them and fails horribly.

Tired of arguing, she decides to use the easier route and simply use her magic to get inside.

As soon as she goes to reach for something in her sleeve, all four bodyguards draw their pistols and aim directly at her.

"Hands in the air now!" A guard in the center yells. "Whatever you're reaching for, don't even think about it."

"..." Not understanding what's going on, the witch freezes and looks at the odd metal objects pointed in her direction. 'Are those guns? The article I saw didn't say they were this small. Such odd wands...'

"Alright, let's calm down." Bruce makes himself known as he steps into the hall with a worried Alfred following behind him.

"Sir, she refused a search and tried to reach for something." One of the guards says as they all keep their guns drawn.

"Yes, I saw." Brice nods as he turns his attention toward the frozen witch. "Hello, I'm Bruce Wayne. I apologize for the rude welcome, but my bodyguards have been taking my safety very seriously ever since my parents were murdered."

"Uhh, greetings. I'm Deputy Headmistress Minerva McGonagall. Would you mind asking them to stop pointing those things at me?" She introduces herself, too afraid to move after reading an article about muggle killing each other with such weapons.

"Of course, Mam. Simply put your hands up and leave whatever you were reaching for where it was." Alfred takes control, not willing to risk Bruce's life.

Sighing with annoyance, Deputy Headmistress McGonagall puts her empty hands in the air.

"Thank you, for complying. We'll do a quick and non-intrusive search and then you'll be allowed in the property." Alfred says and then turns to Bruce. "Master Bruce, why don't you wait inside for our guest?"

"Sure, I'll see you inside Ms. McGonagall."
