Chapter 31: Merry Christmas Pt. 2

Jade's POV: I could not believe how amazing today has been. The past few days have been a bit rocky between me and Charles, but this just blew everything away. I was head over heels for this man! I didn't need fancy jewelry or a perfect Christmas to realize that I'm in love with Charles more than I could've ever thought possible! I was ready to hear his story however. Charles said it was about the bracelet. I said, "I would love to hear a story." However, I think Charles had different things in mind because he smirked and said, "Why don't I just tell you in the morning." Then he kissed me. I now knew that when he said that he wanted this Christmas to be one I'd never forget it wasn't because of the bracelet. Charles carried me up to one of the million bedrooms in this house and layed me on the bed. I flipped onto my stomach and said, "Wanna unzip this for me?" Charles got an evil, yet sexy look on his face. He unzipped my dress and pulled it down, as he did that he kissed my lower back, then my shoulder, then my neck. He flipped me back over and climbed on top of me. Charles whispered in my ear, "You sure you want this?" I bit my lip and answered, "I've never been more sure of anything in my entire life..." Without hesitation, Charles unclipped my bra and practically threw my panties across the room. He stripped down his underwear and kissed me once more before the fun began...

THE NEXT MORNING

Charles' POV: I woke up with an angel next to me. I swear last night was a dream, but it was actually a dream come true. I know I said me and Jade should've waited for this step, but yesterday was just so perfect in every way, I couldn't help myself. Jade rolled over closer to me and said, "Good morning sleepyhead!" I smiled and replied, "Good morning to you too! Would you like some lunch before the flight?" Jade immediately shot up and looked at her phone which told her it was 1 in the afternoon. Our flight back home leaves at 2. However, I figured we'd end up staying here for the night so I compelled a driver to go pick up all of our stuff and bring it here. "Wait! How the hell is it already 1 PM?" Jade demanded. I laughed and said, "You were pretty tired after everything. I figured I'd let you sleep in for awhile." Jade threw a pillow at me and said, "Shut up." We both laughed and went downstairs. According to Jade she's a 'master chef' so I told her that since all of our bags were already here that she should make us both breakfast. She accepted my challenge and we went downstairs. After a about 15 minutes Jade finished our breakfast, she made us homemade waffles with toast and bacon on the side. Jade said it's her 'dads' recipe. Everything was delicious and perfect up until I smelled something. Blood. Jade has left the room only about a minute ago and I smelled blood, that means she's either bleeding, dead, or doing something really stupid. I watched her walk out here and I drew a breath of relief when I saw Jade had just opened a blood bag for me! I keep them stored in very random places sometimes. Anyway, we got dressed and Jade said, "So why don't you tell me all about this story on the plane!" I replied, "Alright, but first, put the bracelet on one more time, I want to see how beautiful it looks on you." Jade blushed and pulled it out of bag along with some new clothes. We got dressed and I noticed that Jade still kept the bracelet on. We arrived at the airport and shortly after that we boarded the plane and headed home. I said to Jade, "So that bracelet that you're wearing actually came from my mother." "Your mother? She has amazing taste then!" I laughed and continued, "Anyway, you obviously know the story of the ritual that put the curse on Nathaniel, and how Amelia had to die. Well, my mother found a way to save her life, with that bracelet. My mother spelled the bracelet and gave it to Amelia the day before the ritual, assuming she'd wear it there. However, Amelia had no idea, she thought the bracelet was just a goodbye gift. Obviously she knew about the ritual and how she had to die. But nobody noticed that she wasn't wearing it until after the blood had been drained from her body and she was dead. The bracelet you're wearing right now, Jade, has a spell on it that will protect you from basically anything. Death is the most important one, if you die wearing that bracelet then you'll come back to life. But don't go around killing yourself for the fun of it okay!" Jade laughed at my comment and said, "That's crazy, I didn't know something could do that!" I said, "Yeah. It's pretty great." Jade and I spent the rest of the flight talking about our lives before we knew about each other. We also bonded a lot more than I would've expected. It's almost like I knew her my whole life! Eventually the flight ended and me and Jade arrived back at her house. However, when we walked in the door we found Jade's mother up against the wall with chair legs daggered into her body with Talia crying at the table...
