"Marcus!" Seeing Marcus fall to the ground, Gon shouted before reaching for him.

"Trrrr!" A sound of cards was heard as everyone turned to Hisoka.

"I see. I see. He should be the real judge." Hisoka stopped playing with his card and turned to Satotz.

"As a person who facilitates the hunter exam, He should be a hunter himself. Attacks of this level should be a small problem to be stopped." Hisoka said.

"I'll take that as a compliment." Satotz threw away the cards that had attacked him.

"However, this is the last warning I'll give you. Under no circumstances you attack me for whatever reason or you will be disqualified." Satotz accepted the reasoning and gave him the last warning.

Suddenly, the examinees saw the birds taking the creature's dead body and flew away.

"This what happened to people that fallen in this stage. The law of nature." Satotz spoke again as he looked towards the birds and the dead body.

As he was about to move again, Gon stopped him.

"Wait! What about Marcus? He had nothing to do with this. Are you going to let him die just like that?" Gon said as he pointed towards Marcus who was laying on the floor.

"You also get the same warning." Satotz said he looked towards Marcus.

Seeing Marcus unmoving body, Hisoka threw some more cards.

The crowds were shocked when they saw Marcus jolted away from his 'death' and evading the cards.

"Hehe. Joke. It's just a joke." Marcus stood up as he plucked out the sticking card on his face.

If anyone looked closely they will saw the frozen parts at the cards and not even a scar on Marcus's face. On the first attacked on him, Hisoka put less nen into the card. So Marcus was able to freeze and damage the tip of them in a split second and let it stuck on his face.

"Your acts of freezing had caused many to lose their chance to continue." Satotz said again.

"What? That wasn't the part of test? This fucker is the one who froze them?" An examinee shouted.

"Dammit, how much energy and efforts it took me to climb them. And that wasn't a part of test?" Another one roar.

"I remember! It's him! He was also the one who mob us to curse the test!" One more examinee pointed towards Marcus

"Dammit. You are feigning innocent after making trouble for us?" One after another roared towards Marcus

"Hehehe.."😅Marcus scratched his head.

"That will be your last adversary. Do another one, then you will be disqualified." Satotz said again.

"Tch. Those weakling should thank me. It's better to fail over there, compare to the forest ahead." Marcus comments.

"That's not for you to decide."Satotz said calmly.

"Follow me. I'll bring you to the next exam venue." As Satotz started to run again, the examinees followed behind him.

As they moved into the forest, fog sudden appeared. It's get thicker as they kept on moving forward.

Some hedious creatures kept on appearing and the situation changed chaotic as the time went on.

In just a few minutes, dozens of people had already died. Marcus kept on moving forward as he watched them dying one after another.

"See. They should grateful. At least they stay alive failing at those stairs." Marcus mumbled as he saw another group had fallen in front of him.

As he was moving in the fog, Marcus suddenly frowned as he immediately jolted away from his position.

Cards were suddenly sent flying towards Marcus. Not only him, there were many people who got struck by the cards.

A silhouette walked slowly towards him in the fogs. The people who were stopped by the cards.

"This lunatic clown." Marcus spoke as he looked around him. Seeing Leorio was also struck by cards, Marcus frowned. He didn't remember if it happened in the anime he watched. Ain't they run first before coming back?

Throwing all those thoughts behind him, Marcus stared towards the silhouette. Even though he had his chance to run, Marcus didn't do it as he wanted to see how far his strength stood in this world.

Hisoka came out of the fog and forclaim to be the examiner. Of course the crowds didn't accept the idea and attacked him.

Unmoving from his position, Marcus just watched the fight from the side.

After he killed the mobs, the area was left with 5 people in a tense mood. Seeing an unknown character was still alive, Marcus wondered who he was.

Facing those tense situations, Kurapika kept on turning towards Marcus direction as if asking for his opinion.

"Just go. I got him." Marcus finally stepped up and faced Hisoka.

Hisoka grinned as he saw Marcus stepped up. "I can feel it. Hehe... You are strong! I love strong people! Hehehe."

Hearing those sadistic tone, Marcus felt uncomfortable.

He went on attacking Hisoka without further words.

Seeing Marcus go into melee with him, Hisoka threw out his cards on the air and defend himself.

Hisoka deflected Marcus punch and attacked him with his other hand. Marcus didn't backdown and raised up his knees to proceed his attacked.

Despite having his martial arts skill, Marcus was having hard moments facing Hisoka weird attacks. Marcus finally understood that he eas lacking experience of a real fights. What he had done before was sparring or fighting people who had much lower strength then him.

This was the first time that he had trouble after having his strength. Taking Hisoka as benchmark, Marcus estimate that this should be the high level fighter in this worlds.

Of course, there were some people who higher and slightly lower. But, the big names of this world should be at that level.

The melee clashes happened for a short while before both of them distanced themselves from each other.

Both of them raised up his aura to go on for another clash.

As they were about to attack, a phone ringtone was ringing.

Hisoka picked up his phone only to hear the voice that urge for him to go as the first phase was about to end.

"I'll see you later." Hisoka giggled as he walked away.

Seeing Hisoka walked away, Marcus let out a deep breath. When he was about to rest up, Marcus suddenly raised up his aura.

"Ting!"

A card was stuck on the ice layer skin behind Marcus's neck.

Another sneak attack from Hisoka came before he left the area.

"Gyo."Marcus used gyo to check up his surroundings in case there was another sticky bungee aura on his body or his surroundings area.
