Chapter 3
*Supermans POV*
(hours before )
*3rd person*
Clark Kent starts his day bright and early at 6 AM, waking up in his apartment in Metropolis. After showering and getting dressed in his classic suit and glasses disguise, he makes himself a quick breakfast.
By 7:30 AM, Clark is at the offices of the Daily Planet newspaper where he works as a mild-mannered reporter. He spends the morning monitoring police radio chatter and news wires for any signs of trouble that might require Superman's intervention. When things seem calm, he works on investigating and writing up stories.
Around noon, Clark breaks for lunch, often eating takeout at his desk while scouring the internet and old files for leads on his latest stories. In the afternoon, he continues his reporting work, conducting interviews and pounding the pavements of Metropolis to gather information.
But then his superhearing catches something
And it catches something loud
Like a roar
then...
*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM*
His eyes widen
Then he hears a roar
*RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA*
"argh" he groans
A sudden, extremely loud noise caused a temporary shock to his system. For someone with super hearing, this could be akin to a flashbang grenade's effect on normal humans
But this didn't last long
only for a second
He ran out of his workplace in a hurry
"where are u going!" Lois Lane shouted
Lois lane is a striking woman.
She has dark brown hair that falls in soft waves past her shoulders. Her blue eyes are sharp and intelligent, often lined with a touch of eyeliner. Lois has a fair complexion with a slight tan, high cheekbones, and a defined jawline, giving her a classic, attractive look. Her lips are full, often colored in red or nude shades.
She dresses professionally, favoring tailored suits over a dress
'shit' he said in his head
"uhh i-im going to the bathroom. Had Taco Bell for breakfast. Has my stomach into a turn right now" he said, trying to sound persuasive.
"I know your lyi-"
She cuts off mid-sentence since she to far for him to hear
"Whatever" she said in an angry, but cute tone
Clark chuckled as he made his way to the exit
*In the alley*
Clark Kent hurried into the empty alley, glancing around to ensure no one was watching. With practiced speed, he loosened his tie and unbuttoned his shirt, revealing the iconic 'S' emblem beneath. In a blur of motion, his business attire vanished, replaced by the blue and red suit of Superman. He adjusted his cape and secured his boots, his transformation complete in mere seconds.
'Now let's see what's going on in my city' He said in his head
Superman stood still for a moment, feeling the ground beneath his boots, his cape gently swaying in the breeze. With a subtle shift in stance, he bent his knees and then, with an effortless burst of power, leaped off the ground. The force of his ascent sent a small cloud of dust swirling around the spot where he had stood.
As he flew higher, the cityscape unfolded below him. The buildings, streets, and parks looked like miniature models as he ascended. The wind rushed past his ears as Superman hovered in mid-air, his cape billowing behind him. With his keen eyes, he scanned every detail of the metropolis below.
Then he sees him... or it?
he quickly sees the destruction around the beast
he sees some of the citizens on the ground, bleeding various parts of their body
The same people he swore to protect
Oh now he is pissed
A red color is forming in his eyes unconsciously
he quickly flies there in a second. landing right behind him
"Who are you!" he yells
*1st person POV*
Then the giant green creature sets down the little girl
"Hulk" the creature said, anger rising from him
Then I pause to assess the situation
'wait what?' I said in confusion.
Oh my god
He saved the girl
How didn't I see that?
"Hello Hulk" I paused
"It seems I misunderstood the situation of what's happening," I said with another pause for him to understand
"Can u tell me what happened?" I said, waiting for an answer.
The Hulk looks at me
Then I blinked
he was in front of me, with his fist-cooked back to hit me.
"What th-" he says in surprise
*3rd person Pov*
The Hulk's massive fist collided with Superman's face with a thunderous impact, the sheer force sending shockwaves through the air. Superman staggered back, momentarily stunned by the blow. The ground beneath them cracked and trembled, buildings shook, and windows shattered from the force of the punch. Debris flew in all directions, and nearby cars were tossed aside like toys. The street buckled and split, creating deep fissures.
The Hulk's massive fist hurtled towards Superman's face, a blur of green fury. But this time, Superman was ready. In an instant, he raised his hand and caught the punch, their hands colliding with a resounding boom. The ground beneath them trembled, cracks spiderwebbing out from the impact site. Superman's grip tightened around the Hulk's fist, muscles straining against the immense power. Debris scattered, and nearby buildings shuddered from the shockwave. Superman's eyes locked with the Hulk's eyes
"Hulk we don't have to do this" Superman yells
"HULK SMASH!" He yelled
With a mighty roar, the Hulk punches him, hard. Sending Superman hurtling backward through the air. The force of the impact created a shockwave, rattling nearby buildings and sending debris flying in all directions. Superman crashed into the ground with a thunderous thud, skidding across the pavement before finally coming to a stop. The impact left a deep crater in the ground.
"god damn," he said with surprise
As he stood there, a warm liquid began to trickle down his chin. Superman instinctively reached up to his mouth to wipe it away, bringing his hand back to inspect the substance.

'No way....." he muttered
He exclaimed in utter disbelief, 'How is that even possible?'"
then.....
*RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH*
As he glances upward, he is startled to witness the formidable figure of the Hulk hurtling towards him at a remarkable speed, defying the expectations typically associated with someone of his immense size.
'now Im ready' Superman says in his mind
He stands up, he then goes into a running position.
he breaths in
then he flies towards him
0.525 seconds later, they clashed
As Superman and the Hulk's fists collided with titanic force, a shockwave rippled outward, shattering the very fabric of the city around them. Buildings quaked and crumbled, their foundations unable to withstand the immense power unleashed in that moment of impact.
The sheer magnitude of their clash sent shockwaves reverberating for miles, leaving a trail of devastation in its wake.
Superman threw the first punch, his fist slamming into the Hulk's jaw with the force of a meteor strike. However, the Hulk barely flinched, letting out a roar that shattered windows for blocks. He grabbed Superman by the cape and whipped him overhead, smashing the Man of Steel through an office building.
Emerging from the rubble, Superman's eyes glowed red as he focused his heat vision. Twin beams of searing energy lanced out, burning into the Hulk's chest. The gamma-irradiated behemoth bellowed in pain and rage, charging forward and hitting Superman with the force of a runaway freight train. They went soaring away, carving a trench into the city streets.
The two brawled across Metropolis, leveling buildings and tossing vehicles aside like toys. Every punch from the Hulk's massive fists felt like a bomb going off against the Man of Steel's body. Superman retaliated with furious haymakers and brutal heat vision blasts, but could not seem to put the Hulk down.
During the fight, the Hulk got a hand around Superman's throat, squeezing relentlessly as the Man of Tomorrow's face turned red from the pressure. Refusing to submit, Superman broke free by unleashing a thunderclap of force from his mouth and hands. The Hulk was blown away, his gigantic frame smashing through a parking garage.
Not letting up, Superman pursued and tried to put the emerald giant away with a rapid-fire flurry of punches. But the Hulk weathered the assault, grabbing Superman's fist and giving him a judo flip that slammed the Kryptonian into the pavement hard enough to crater it.
Superman stood, still ready for a fight.
With a thunderous roar, the Hulk snatched up a massive slab of rubble and hurled it at Superman. The Man of Steel narrowly dodged, but was caught off-guard as the Hulk charged through the debris cloud. Immense fists pummeled Superman, each blow strong enough to crater solid steel.
Refusing to stay on the defensive, Superman unleashed a punishing combo of heat vision, freezing breath, and blistering strikes. He battered the Hulk, trying to overwhelm the brute's incredible healing factor. But the angrier the Hulk got, the stronger he became.
The two titans' destruction began radiating outward in all directions like the shockwaves of a bomb. Office buildings, apartments, roads - nothing could withstand the cartography of ruin left in the wake of their battle. Panicked citizens fled in terror as the fight raged.
Grabbing an abandoned taxi, the Hulk swung the huge vehicle like a baseball bat, smashing it into Superman. The Man of Steel went soaring, crashing through a skyscraper and emerging coated in dust and rubble. He caught his second wind and took to the air, raining down concentrated blasts of heat vision and frigid cold from above.
But the Hulk just weathered the onslaught, waiting for an opening. When Superman inevitably had to pause his relentless assault, the cunning brute grabbed the Kryptonian and slammed him straight down into the asphalt. The impact opened a crevasse in the street wide enough to swallow entire city blocks.
they were about to go at it again but someone intervened
"Stop! Please, you have to stop fighting!"
Superman and the Hulk turned around to find a little girl, no more than 8 years old, standing before them. It was the same child the Hulk had valiantly rescued during the chaos that had sparked this entire catastrophic showdown. She stood there, shaking, with tears running down her dirt-smudged cheeks.
"Hulk what are u doing..." the girl cried out.
The two behemoths remained silent, finally taking in the full scope of the devastation surrounding them. Entire city blocks had been flattened, skyscrapers toppled, and fires raged unchecked. The collateral damage was unimaginable - both had been so consumed by their battle that they lost sight of the human lives at stake.
The Hulk's massive fists slowly unclenched as the anger drained from his face, replaced by a sadness and regret. He looked down at the tear-stained face of the child he had saved, her expression one of pure fear and confusion.
Superman felt shame burn hotter than any blast of heat vision. He watched helplessly as rescue workers attempted to dig through the rubble, no doubt searching for trapped civilians. This was the exact opposite of what he had promised to uphold as the protector of Metropolis.
The two towering figures locked eyes, sharing an unspoken understanding. The girl's observation was accurate - they had been swept up in their anger and strength.
Then Hulk looks towards the girl
"Hulk sorry" he said, his voice deeper than usual.
The girl looks at him
"Don't do it again" She said, running up to him and hugging his leg
"Please don't do it again" She said, muffled
Superman looks around, and sees the destruction of Metropolis around him
'shit' he mutters in his mind
'the others are going to be pissed off' he pauses
'No, don't worry about them. I need to help the city'
