Chapter 7 Lisa was lying in bed, staring wide awake at her bedroom wall,as she tried to make sense of what the world around her was saying right now. It had been a month since she was rescued by Eddie in the city of Lachlan and they had managed to settle down in Eddies mansion. However, things weren't all that good between Lisa and Eddy. Not to mention that Eddie had been constantly telling her to give up her relationship with Raymond, that it was pointless and dangerous, and that he would never forgive himself if something bad happened to her. Of course Lisa hadn't listened to his advice, she had always been stubborn to begin with, and now she found herself wondering whether she should listen to him. He had told her time and again how unsafe it was to be with Raymond, but the problem was that Lisa liked Raymond and she didn't want to let him go. She was pretty sure that Eddie didn't understand the fact that she cared so much about Raymond but she still hoped that someday he would realise and he would be proud of her and happy with her. After all, they weren't exactly best friends but Raymond made her laugh and look forward to each day even though he wasn't her boyfriend. However, she soon realised that she couldn't continue with their relationship without revealing her past to him. If something did indeed happen to her,and she wasn't ever coming back,Raymond would find out and that just wouldn't sit well with Lisa at all. No matter how tempting that option seemed to be,she still couldn't bring herself to risk losing Raymond forever just because she liked Eddie. The thought scared her a bit to death and she decided that it was better just not to mention the subject any further."Hey!",Eddy shouted, shaking Lisa roughly out of her thoughts as she jumped a little from the sudden shock of the movement. "Wha...what happened?",she gasped, glancing over at Eddie and noticing that he was looking at her strangely, his expression full of concern. Lisa could feel her cheeks flush a bright red and quickly looked away,"I...uh...I had an idea and it just kinda came out of nowhere",she lied unconvincingly as she rubbed the back of her neck shyly. "Oh yeah?",Eddy questioned, looking slightly skeptical of her words",Uh huh",Lisa replied quickly",But I'll tell you all about it later. Let's have some fun today",she added hurriedly. Energised by her enthusiasm,Eddy jumped off of the couch and grabbed onto Lisa's hand, before dragging her out of her bedroom",Come on!I'm going to show you some cool places around town",he exclaimed excitedly as he led Lisa out of her room and straight towards the kitchen where they had eaten breakfast earlier."Yay!",Lisa squealed happily, willing herself to forget about the fact that Raymond might not be in California anymore. She just wanted today to be a perfect day which included spending it with Eddy as he helped her forget about Raymond. After a couple hours of walking around the streets and visiting various shops, they decided to head to the movies to watch a movie called 'Beautiful Woman'. Eddie had insisted on driving Lisa there in order to ensure she wouldn't get into too much trouble, despite her protests that she would absolutely never get into too much trouble when she was with him. He loved to tease her and make her blush and whenever she got angry,he enjoyed watching her turn beetroot red. Once at the cinema, the boys chose a theatre where they were able to easily slip inside and grab a ticket. As Lisa walked along with Eddie next to her holding her hands tightly, she noticed that a lot of people were looking at them as they entered the cinema. Lisa could only assume that it had something to do with her being dressed like Eddie which she hadn't seen herself before. When she glanced over at Eddie, she noticed that he looked extremely uncomfortable. In fact, he kept squeezing her hand as if trying to comfort himself. Lisa furrowed her brows at that, although she didn't have time to dwell on it as they had already bought their tickets. When they reached the counter, one of the workers, who Lisa assumed was supposed to be in charge of paying, approached the boys".Um...can I ask you guys something?", he asked nervously",Sure...go ahead...",Eddy replied cautiously."I think the lady needs two tickets",the man pointed out awkwardly. Eddy immediately looked panicked and turned towards Lisa."Oh...I'm sorry! Are you alright!?''",he questioned frantically",Yeah I'm fine...why?",Lisa answered, taking a step back from the counter and glaring at the worker coldly. Eddie let go of her hand momentarily to reach into his pocket and pull out two hundred dollar bills that he handed over to the man. "Thank you",the man muttered as he looked down at the cash. ''No worries!",Eddy responded enthusiastically",Now hurry up and buy these two tickets before I lose all my money!",Eddy instructed, pulling Lisa over towards the screen which showed previews for the film. Once they both had chosen their seats, the boys sat next to each other and began to watch the film together. Lisa watched intently as the movie began to play, although she found herself not really
