Chapter 6 Lisa woke up to find herself in an unfamiliar setting with no memories of her surroundings.Panicking at first,all she could see around her was darkness,before her eyes adjusted to the lack of light.She could feel that someone was watching her,and after a couple seconds she realised that the breathing that she had been listening to must have been her own."Who are you?Why am I here!?",she asked loudly as panic filled her mind."Shhhhhhh...it's okay...it's okay.I won't hurt you",the familiar voice whispered soothingly in her ear."I'm Edward. I've come to take you home...",he replied gently."But why would I go home with you...my father is still out there!"",Lisa said worriedly as she reached up towards the ceiling for something to hold on to,finding only empty air above her."I promise you that I won't let anything bad happen to you,just trust me...please"?The sound of Eddys voice calmed Lisa down enough to allow herself to calm down a little",Please...?who are you?",she asked weakly."My name is Edward",Eddys replied simply as he helped her to get up from the bed before leading her down the corridor and out of a dark room and into a brightly lit and brightly decorated living room."Where are we?".She looked around the large room which had large comfortable looking couches and various other furniture in it. "I'll tell you once we get somewhere safe"Edward replied reassuringly as he led Lisa through the apartment."This place looks nice",Lisa remarked as she looked around the apartment,feeling rather curious about Eddy's family".This place has always been like a second home to me",Eddies said proudly as he continued to lead the woman to a door and opened it before stepping through and motioning Lisa to follow him."Come in!",he commanded happily before stepping into the room",Wow!this is amazing!".The whole room consisted of huge amounts of different types of artwork. There were many drawings hanging up on the walls that depicted a lot of different things. Some people were smiling,some crying and most importantly others were angry. On the opposite end of the room,there was a large table that had books everywhere and piles upon piles of papers on top of it."Do you remember anything?",Eddy asked nervously as he moved towards the couch and sat down."Not really...just bits and pieces",Lisa said sadly."It's okay...don't worry. You'll be able to remember more once you've settled into your new home".Lisa nodded in response as she followed Eddie to the dining table that was situated near one of the windows. She gazed at the pictures hung up on it. They depicted landscapes and forests,flocks of birds flying across them,and even a few small children riding their bicycles. "I think this is beautiful",Lisa commented,still admiring the picture with a big smile on her face. ''Thank you, I painted them myself'',Eddy explained with pride in his voice",Wow,you are really talented, aren't you?",she said,feeling quite happy at his answer.""I guess you can say that..." "So....what now?" Lisa asked,still feeling quite lost as to what to do next".We'll figure something out"Eddy assured her as he got up from his seat and stood directly in front of her,still wearing that smile. Lisa blushed and quickly averted her gaze",Umm...sorry, I didn't mean to stare...so how about we start our journey?".She shook her head lightly as she sighed deeply."Well...what now,then?"Eddy asked curiously".I-I don't know...I don't know what we're doing anymore...and I'm afraid that my husband won't like that I'm talking to you...if he finds us together..."",Lisa trailed off",Is there anywhere else you want to stay?Or perhaps...perhaps you'd prefer to stay with me? I can take care of you...it will be a great change in pace for you,I promise".Lisa glanced back over at the paintings that were hanging up on the walls,trying hard to keep the tears from welling up in her eyes as she thought about the life she had once lived,with Raymond and Christopher before everything went to Hell".Okay...if you can take care of me, then you can definitely take care of me",she agreed. "Great!Then let's go",Eddy said excitedly as he grabbed hold of Lisa's hands,forcing her to stand up as he began to pull her out of the room. ~~~ Hours later,after having arrived back in the town in Los Angeles,they were both standing in front of the entrance to Eddies mansion,both of them having finally stopped crying and laughing."Are you ready?",Eddy asked quietly as he stared at Lisa through the reflection in the windows of the car. Lisa took a moment to glance over at the house before speaking."Yeah,I am". Eddy smiled at her,getting into the drivers seat as he started the engine and drove the car slowly off of the driveway and into town. As they drove down the street,Lisa looked out of the window at the houses in the distance while thinking about how she wished she had never gotten involved with Ray and Christopher or that her parents were still alive instead of being dead and buried far away."You seem to know a lot about the town",Lisa said as she turned her attention back over to Eddy who looked out of the windshield for a second before replying:"Yes,I suppose I do know a lot about the area but unfortunately,I'm not very familiar with this particular part of town".He gave a brief sigh,which made Lisa feel sad and sorry for him,but she knew that there had to be some way for him to escape before anything bad happened to him".So how did you manage to leave your family behind?",he asked suddenly."I-I ran away",Lisa replied quietly."Really?".His voice was filled with disbelief."Yeah,...really...",Lisa replied in a small voice.",And did your parents help you out in any way?"",They were very angry at me",Lisa replied quietly",They wanted to send me to prison for a long time but I told them I couldn't",she continued."I'm sure your sister felt very upset that she didn't try to help you...",Eddy stated. ''She's probably going to live a very lonely life now, without me there",Lisa admitted softly."What? Why?"
