Prologue

Death, there is nothing else to say but death, that's what he found out.

The true answer to every question that made scientists burn their brain and made people start to invent religions to avoid the question.

That terrifying, bone chilling thing.

Was now what was seeking him free of his dirty shackles he always wore as a mortal.

He always knew, be it from the start, or later in life, that he was better, even in his hollow shell of a life, where he committed to be normal, something in his mind pruned him to think he was smarter, stronger, better than he actually was.

The unfathomably low whisper that assured him, even when his guard was down, that he was not only great, it assured him that he was god.

It seemed to defy logic, or did logic defy it?

The question followed him through his mortal life, when he got his first boyfriend, when he got married, when he adopted a son.

The question was always there, tickling in a funny space in his mind, making his brain shiver with the anticipation of the soon to be omnipotence that never quite arrived.

He lived a good life, a wonderful one.

But he always seemed to strive for something that was impossible to get, if he truly, truly was god then what was this empty space.

This pure abyss without any color that he could see.

Better said, he couldn't see as it seemed he didn't have eyes.

So he 'laid' in the darkness where his mind was as dead as his body was after the heart attack.

But he seems to have forgotten something.

As everything has an expiration date, a time where it must die

So does death.

And thus he took a breath.

PS(I decided to make a really short chapter for the begging but expect the rest of the chapters to be much much longer)
