Chapter 2

I came to the base of the mountain and jumped the mist that I have seen and realized it was a hot spring . That would keep the hunter off my back and keep my sent hidden .

I hid in the next bush when I landed and waited for them to approach the hot springs . What I saw took my breath away and stunned me at the same time…. It was another panther half breed like myself but only he looked just like a panther. Dark, tall, …. Handsome , even a little rugged to say the least. I noticed he had a scar across his face that left his right eye closed . He sniffed the ground trying to track me down but I stood up without thinking . He looked at me as if I was crazy but I stood there wondering where did he come from. The male jumped over and landed a few feet apart from me and asked, " have you seen others like me?" . I replied with an automatic,"no". He replied , " I guess I have to introduce myself and explain why I chased you ,". He laughed in a deep voice that felt like silk and a trickled down my spine sending me shivers.
