Harrison's reception into the Slytherin table wasn't as welcoming as the other was, he, unlike all the other 9 people that were sorted within the house, was a muggle-born, something easier to notice due to him apparently being the only person that no had ever heard of. Some were frowning, others were whispering, all in all, they were clearly uncomfortable, and this made Harrison vein's stick out on his head.

He hated those eyes, for some reason he felt like plucking them out and dropping them in a pool of acid...

One of the prefects, a taller boy with long blonde hair noticed the atmosphere getting gloomier around him and patted his shoulder, taking Harrison out of his mind and making him truly surprised.

"Welcome, Harrison, I hope you like us Slytherin, I know things might be difficult in the beginning, but know that we Slytherins can be much better than we look on the outside, don't let our preconceptions and personality cloud your vision, here the truly talented can still overcome that label."

He pointed to the other Slytherins behind him and said. "People usually think we are the worst house, but I assure you that in front of our enemies we are the most united. My name is Nowen Fawley, nice to meet you."

Seeing that Nowen had extended his hand as if waiting for a handshake, Harrison looked at him for a moment, then he turned to look at the table once more, those judging eyes, those people that thought too highly of themselves... He wondered for a second, and in that second, more than anyone could notice went through his head, he didn't know much about the wizarding world, but he was someone with ambition since not everyone was a piece of shit, he decided...

His first objective was to take control of this house... whether or not force would be necessary, he wouldn't stop until each one of those bastards was sucking up to him... Who knows, they might even become part of his future project to cleanse the world.

So he soon accepted Nowen's handshake, and although no one noticed the sharp glint that passed through his eyes, the woman sitting on Hogwarts Headmaster seat, suddenly frowned for a moment, but soon went back to normal.

Nowen sat down where he was, and Harrison decided to seat next to the girl called Madeline, she was the only one he felt comfortable around for now, since she was also relatively alone, considering no one was making any effort to talk to her.

As soon he sat down, she turned to him with a smile and said. "Quite the entrance you did there, I thought you're going to kill someone."

Hearing this he raised an eyebrow and looked at her with interest, but she stopped looking at him and only played with the golden plate in front of her using her fingers.

"I don't know what you're talking about."

"Pfft..." She laughed slightly but didn't continue, Harrison couldn't help but place her on a 'to be cautious with' list, how can someone know a person's feeling so easily, he survived in that world for so much time, he knew very well how to hide his true emotions, so either she is better than him at this, or there was something special about her, in terms of magic, of course, she was still a kid that grew up with someone after all, although he couldn't say whether or not it was a pleasant experience.

As all of this happened, Professor Scamander made his list and the chair disappears, while the hat was stored back at the chest.

Then the woman sitting at the headmaster's seat stood up and clapped full of energy, she was an old woman with short white hair and green eyes that wore a common beige wizard robe. "First of all, I welcome all of you new students at Hogwarts, it is a pleasure to have you here attending the school, other than that, let me introduce my self, my name is Rébecca Matthieu, I'm Hogwarts headmistress. Now, since we finished the introductions, let us eat!"

As soon as she sat down, the tables were suddenly filled with all sorts of food one could even think of, the students and the teachers didn't waste a single second and started taking the things they liked the most to eat, seeing all of that, Harrison almost forgot the bad feelings he was getting since he arrived here, his stomach had entered a berserk mode after seeing so much high-quality food and he couldn't waste his energy thinking about his grudges.

As he ate, he saw that ghost-like beings appeared out of nowhere and started pestering everyone, apparently based on what he heard people talking, 4 of them acted like representants of the houses, while the others basically lived there just because they could, besides that, he also gets to know a little bit more about the so-called Potters, and a few other matters related to the school, like the house cup which was apparently won by the Ravenclaws 4 times in a row, a sport called quidditch which the Gryffindors seemed to excel at, and an interesting rumor...

"Have you heard of the news?"

"Which one?"

"Apparently we have a vampire among the students of this batch, they say that this person is part of the ministry project about increasing the diplomacy between the wizards and the magical creatures, can you believe that they are allowing a freak like this to enter our school?"

"That Hermione Granger sure was a crazy bitch, first the elves, then the werewolves, the centaurs, the goblins, and even those monsters... she put everyone in danger I assure you of that."

"Yeah, what the fuck is wrong with the ministry of magic, those guys could have stopped it after she died, but they actually continued..."

One of the kids hearing this conversation constantly shook his head with an enraged white pale face, as if he was hearing an insult, however, he never made any interference and just let then speak to their heart's content, seeing that, Harrison could only think that the kid disagreed with them, but was too coward to state his opinion on the matter.

Looking at the professor's table, he wondered what were their identities, besides professor Scamander, Archibald, and Headmistress Rébecca, he didn't know the other's identities. The only professor that caught Harrison's attention, was an extremely little woman dressed in wizarding robes, he wondered if she was a midget, maybe a dwarf, or who knows what sort of species there are in this magical world, at this point he wouldn't be too surprised if dragons, demons and gods were real as well.

Noticing his look, Madeline approached him, staying only a few centimeters away from hin and whispered in his ear with a smirk on her face. "What, are you interested in professor Elaine Flitwick? You sure have good tastes hahaha!"

Harrison almost choked after hearing those words, the juice in his mouth almost went into the wrong hole thanks to that. He couldn't help but look at Madeline with a faster heartbeat, this girl had a perverted side to her that he never expected.

Seeing how flustered Harrison was, she started laughing as if she was seeing the funniest thing she had ever seen.

Then, after some time, the food disappeared from the tables, and the Headmistress made a second speech, telling the students that the forest around Hogwarts was a forbidden ground and that quidditch trials would begin in two weeks, having said that she bid her farewell and disappeared from the great hall together with the teachers as if they were never there.

The first years then followed the prefect through the corridors of the school, they climbed down many sets of stairs and went through a few passages until they arrived at the dungeons underneath the black lake, the prefect then stopped in front of a stretch of damp stone wall and said. "Snakes" once he said those words the wall suddenly slide to the side revealing that it was actually a secret entrance, the students then entered inside the place and admired it.

The lights for some reason were all green, there was a fireplace near the sofas, a few tables with candles, and some statues and paintings on the wall. The prefect pointed to the stairs inside that led to the right. "That one leads to the boy's rooms, and the other stair leads to the girl's room. Don't be surprised when you enter, it is an individual room for each student, and they all have a personal bathroom and kitchen as well for you if you don't want to eat breakfast at the great hall, and don't ask me how those doors work, I don't have any idea, good luck everyone, first classes start tomorrow, the timetable is already on your beds, be sure to memorize it."

Once he finished saying those words, he turned around and left Slytherin common room, leaving the first years alone, Harrison muttered a 'bye' to Madeline and went to his rooms before the others could decide what to do.

When he opened the door at the end of the stairs, he entered a single bedroom, really well decorated that was exactly like the prefect said it would be, he then sat down on the bed and looked at the door, waiting to see if someone would go inside, and after a minute or so waiting, he noticed that no one came in and smiled, this place was truly difficult to understand.

Having nothing else to do, he decided to finish reading the other books he bought, since it was so easy to remember the content, he might as well finish them as soon as he can so that he can start practicing.
