House Azaroth Military Strength

So a few people asked me about the strength of House Azaroth as a whole. The following is based on the current level from ch.63 and likely contains some form of spoiler for readers who haven't reached that point. Read at your own risk.

Let's start with the main military system of Azaroth.

The lowest ranking official military force is the standard Army.

The Army is consisted of those who are not qualified, or not yet qualified, to join the Azaroth legions as there is a limited number of places. As a result, the army has a very varied level of strength ranging from mid-class to high-class

Said Army is currently numbered at around 500'000, divided in a similar fashion as the legions, so in groups of 10'000 named Corps, to give a sort of training for joining it.

Each group of 10'000 has a sufficiently powerful, trained, educated and certified Commander, who oversees captains in charge of 1000 devils and so on.

The army itself serves as a proving ground for rising soldiers, a place to gain experience, extra training, and as a standard force in combat.

Next are the true backbone of House Azaroth, the Legions.

The Legions are numbered at 20, each containing 10'000 men who are either borderline Ultimate-class or have reached it. Every ranking officer must reach at least mid Ultimate-class, while the Leaders of each Legion must be at High-Ultimate to qualify while also passing several intensive tests and courses.

This has been updated with time as each Legion commander attained low Satan levels of strength.

Each member of a Legion receives the best Azaroth offers in terms of treatment and training, but in exchange expects loyalty and discipline.

In total this would mean 700'000 trained soldiers ready to sweep through any foe at their Lord's command. All that with at least 200 Ultimate-classes and 20 Satan-classes in the Legions.

This entire structure is overseen by the Head General Horuth and his second in Command Thillis, who are both at mid Satan-class.

There are other armed forces within Azaroth lands.

The most respected force being the Guards.

The guards number 50'000, ranking from mid to high class at least, with city captains needing at least mid Ultimate class. Each member of the Guards needs to be trained in Criminology, crime scene investigation, counter espionage and various other disciplines to handle their duties on top of the strength requirement.

This organization is overseen by the Head Captain Abezel, a Seraph/cadre level fallen, with his two direct subordinates being the protectors of each major city in Azaroth territories, including two Satan-class descendants of Beelzebub and Asmodeus.

After the expansion of Neutral territories into the continents of Earth, new Guard forces were created to oversee the additional territories. The Wakanda, El Dorado, Reserve, Sanctuary, Mountains, Kun Lun, Korea and Nagasaki zones each hold one mid Satan Class captain (Jessica Cruz, Ororo Storm, Garth Tempest, James Proudstar, Shang-Chi, Amadeus Cho, Vaas Asmodeus and Byleth Beelzebub), with one Low Satan-class vice captain, alongside 10'000 homunculi troops.

Beyond these major forces, there are unofficial ones.

The largest being the magical academies.

These academies might not be official and organized forces, but they are a powerful gathering of magic focused devils which do have a requirement to defend Azaroth if called upon. These academies are spread through the major cities and are usually elemental based, and each Headmaster is in the Satan-class, with even some professors at near the level, while they contain tens thousands of devils from low to high-class.

The second largest are the Hel Huntresses led by Heltana.

The only all female group in the Underworld, as a group of huntresses and warriors gathered and trained by Heltana as she roams the Underworld and human world in pursuit of monsters or villains.

This group has a very varied power level due to constantly welcoming a steady amount of girls and women in need, with their own base of operation to support their activities outside of Lith's direct support and protection.

They currently stand at an active huntress count of around 6000, with various chiefs leading different groups under Heltana herself. Each Chief is Ultimate- Class and growing, with Heltana herself being Satan-class.

The lesser known one is the Azaroth Servant Staff.

Precisely 150 maids and butlers intensely trained by the Head maid Fia and Scáthach to reach Ultimate-class on top of impeccable skills as servants and extreme loyalty. They serve as the 'last line of defense', but it's more like they take care of all the annoying flies so their master and his family does not have to. It is a den of death for those 'uninvited guests'.

Next up are the great number of devils who have grown stronger under Azaroth support of their passions, like Muramasa who became a god of smithing.

Then there are the goddesses/gods residing in Azaroth lands. All the various species who will defend their homes out of gratitude like Elsa's spirits and the Dwarves of High Skaro.

(As a note, the vast majority of the above are not stronger than Noble devils in the same rank, but they are better fighters and are more experienced, so it usually evens out.)

And lastly should be Lith, Serafall and their peerages.

A collection of Satan-class monsters and gods lead by two Heavenly Demon Gods.

Gods: 25+

Satan-class: 50+

Troops: 840 000+

So yeah. House Azaroth can take on the entirety of the Underworld on its own should it come to it.
