Intermission II Part II

It was three hours later that the duo sat already dressed again on the desk chair. Rossweisse sighed after licking her lips while leaning on the youth. Sitting on his lap, she closed her eyes as she recalled all they did.

There was a knock on the door and the duo recalled getting rid of the lock and the spell that blocked sounds from leaking to hype their experience. Anyone bold enough could've opened the door and found them in the middle of their fun time.

Not hearing an answer, the door was opened and the receptionist entered. The first thing she did was to cover her nose. The duo did not bother to open a window so the scent of their fun time would not remain stagnated. The various smells assaulted the young woman's nose and she got lightheaded. There was a particular enticing smell that she could not identify but she gritted her teeth and entered the room.

Surveying the room, she was briefly stunned after seeing the desk missing a large chunk and the objects that she recalled should be lying on top of it were now scattered on the ground. The only thing that seemed to be intact was a mug of coffee filled with some sort of beverage.

"...we could not contact you for some time so I came to check on you several times. It was now that I noticed that doors could be opened again."

Explaining her reason to barge in, the receptionist stepped in with a large amount of files in her hands.

"...I see." Nora did not explain himself.

His hand, despite the arrival, remains placed on top of Rossweisse's thigh as he slowly strokes it.

"I told the old man to take care of everything without asking me though?" Nora asked.

Dropping the files on the desk while fighting the strange feeling swelling inside her from smelling the unique and enticing aroma in the room, the receptionist found her breathing getting rough and her face heating up. Gulping her saliva, she found it strange how she was feeling hot all of sudden and began using her hand as a fan to cool down her face, although it did not seem to work.

"I am going out of my own way to make you check upon these."

The receptionist said.

"He told me to leave it to him, but I think his method will take a greater amount of time."

Shaking her head, the receptionist placed a finger on top of the files.

"Here is the list of our regular guests who have been asking questions nonstop regarding the policies of the hotel. I filtered their questions and selected the most important ones. There is also a problem with one of the sponsors you mentioned that we're taken care of."

"Odd, the money issue was settled with no problem, or so I heard." Nora mumbled.

"Could they be trying to ask for more?" Rossweisse chipped in.

"It is not for that reason, or so they have stated. They seem to be interested in making a personal connection to you."

"Urgh, what a pain..." Nora did not hide his reluctant mood.

"What about the file you mentioned?" Rossweisse asked. "You said that they are filled with questions of regular guests?"

"...I cannot blame some of their questions. None outrightly asked about the change in prices, but they were concerned with the quality of the service."

Explaining, the receptionist took to top file and was about to hand it to Nora, but Rossweisse took it.

Giving it a light read, she nodded. Rossweisse extended her hand and the next file was handed to her while the receptionist picked the one Rossweisse had already read. The process was repeated several times until the files had all been revised.

"Take me to meet the staff so I can make an announcement to those who began spreading rumors. I will also make arrangements so the guests do not have any more doubts." Rossweisse sighed but she still left the youth's side.

Sharing a look with the youth, she turned to the receptionist.

"You knew about the rumors?"

"You did not write anything about it, but it is easy to guess that not only our customers were the ones to spread the rumors. The number of people there was too small and most would mind their own business after receiving a gift from Nora." Rossweisse spoke in a serious tone.

It was not an oversight on her part, but the receptionist wanted to confirm if her new bosses would be capable people. It was one thing to be given an opportunity, but if they were useless and made bad decisions, she would be worse than before. She observed the young woman who had a serious look ready to depart at any time. It was then that she noticed, she seemed to have something stuck on her chin. Upon a closer look, the receptionist saw a... hair. It was small and it looked out of place since it was black.

"You have something there..."

Unconsciously pointing at her own chin, the receptionist gestured for the young woman to do the same on her face. Rossweisse immediately blushed and hastily removed the hair. It was then that the receptionist noticed that Rossweisse seemed to have a funny smell.

Deciding that it was best not to ask, the receptionist turned around and ignored that the chest of the young woman seemed a little bigger than before with a part of the fabric soaked. It must've been her imagination.

"You are leaving?" Nora spoke.

"You wanted to leave this place to me, right? I will not disappoint you." Rossweisse said. "If I cannot handle this, how can I expect to be able to stand up by your side no matter what."

Giving the youth a wink, Rossweise pointed at him.

"I expect that as soon as I finish this, you will fulfill your end of the deal." Rossweisse pointed out.

"Heh." Nora smirked. "Don't take too long. I might get thirsty."

As he said that, the youth lifted the coffee mug and began drinking.

The Valkyrie was embarrassed, but she could not look away as he drank all of the contents of the mug.

"Best milk I have tasted until now..." Nora smirked.

Since she did not hear any steps following her after she began to walk away, the receptionist had turned around to see what was going on and happened to observe the exchange.

Blinking, the receptionist had to admit that her new boss was shameless since he did not even bother hiding the meaning of their exchange.

"Ah, when I come back... Let's talk about my 'senpais' inviting you to their houses at late hours. I happen to recall that those particular times, they took a couple of days off because they planned to get some lovey-dovey sex with their man, but this 'man' turned out to be MY man?" Rossweise chuckled. "I definitely do not doubt you. After all, you have enough self-control to not lay your hands on women who have constantly tried to seduce you for a lot of time. Yet... just like you get jealous, I have the right to get jealous too, you know?"

Sweating coldly, the youth simply chuckled awkwardly.

...

...

Once he was alone, the spun the chair he was sitting on and let it spin as he sighed.

"...with this, Rose will have something to support her activities without relying on others. Something for herself... this should be enough." Nora mumbled. "I had left with her before this date the pieces of the spell I want her to work on... with her on the job, Skadi-sama and even Freya-sama might chime in, with their help, this side of the spell should be finished. I should also make that geezer, Odin to work his ass off. He has been asking too many bottles of wine and beer for free."

Stopping in place, he stood up. Nora pulled out a talisman and injected some ki into it.

"I will pass you the names of the people I met today, they will also be in the range of your spell..." Nora did not hear a reply, but he still sighed. "Sorry to make you do this."

With a bitter heart and a troubled, the youth put back the talisman. He covered his face with his hand and took a deep breath, once the hand was gone, his expression was back to normal. He smiled as the shinobis from before appeared before him and resported to him.

"Alright, next is..." Nora opened his mouth.
