Chapter 16 : The Fairytales

When Shen and Shemi almost get back into the restaurant.

"Hello there.." Said Ramus.

"Hello.." Said Shen who almost get inside the restaurant.

"Hey buddy, is this fairytales restaurant ?"

"Yes it is, do you need something" Said Shen.

"Yes..can we enter to have some food, we are hungry and i heard this restaurant is the best in this island ?"

"We are closed and my brothers is injured so please find another restaurant" Said Shemi.

"Don't be rude Shemi, the restaurant was closed but you two are welcomed to come to our house behind this building, i will serves you some food" Said Shen.

"Brother what are you doing" Said Semi.

"It's okay, i can still cook some food, and don't you remember what our father says?" Said Shen.

"Yes..never reject hungry people who trust our food" Said Semi while looking down.

"Okay let's go to our house guys" Said Shen.

"By the way my name is Ramus and this is Sam"

"Nice to meet you Ramus, Sam, my name is Shen and this my little sister Shemi" Said Shen.

"Thank you..we will be not polite then" Ramus replied.

After quick chat Ramus and Sam followed Shen and Semi to their house. The house was exactly locate behind the restaurant, it's not to big but really cozy. Soon Shen invite them to dining room and ask them to wait there while waiting for Shen and Semi preparing the food. Later Ramus was shocked to see how skillfully and elegance Shen and Semi way of cooking. Although Shen is not in his best condition his movements were so fluid and fast.

"Food was ready" Said Semi while served several tasty looking food on the table.

"Woah the aroma was very good and food presentation is very gorgeous is almost like 0painting" Said Sam.

"Look like the Fairytales Cook is live up to their names" Said Ramus.

"Thanks for your praise..please enjoy the food while hot, this is atlas shrimp with corn butter sauce, this is half roasted and fried madam fish bass from the sea around Mirror ball Island, this is chicken tiger boiled egg covered with 7 kind roasted bird skin and this is was a 10 layered caramel cake and the last one is chocolate tiramisu with mixed frozen rainbow berry cream" Said Shen.

"This is was unbelievably delicious" Said Ramus.

"Try this madam fish dish master, it's have amazingly good texture and fragrant" Said Sam.

Shen and Shemi was smiling to saw Ramus and Sam happily enjoy the food.

"By the way Shen, who is that fat guy earlier ?" Ask Ramus.

"That man name is Kepo..the biggest loan shark in this city" Said Shen.

"Did he bring you guys a trouble ? can you tell me what happen to you and your family, i am sorry to not politely asking such s private questions but maybe we can help" Said Ramus.

Shen and Shemi look at each other, then Shen was sighed and began to explain their situation to Ramus and Sam. Their fairytales restaurant was a family restaurant that have been opening for 40 years, during that time they used to be the most famous restaurant entire east blues until 5 years ago, A floating restaurant called Baratie was opened and become the famous restaurant on east blue.

Day by day Baraties make more and more impact for their restaurant, even their loyal customers begin leaving them little by little to becomes Baratie Customer. At first they don't care about Baratie, but more and more people compare their restaurant with Baratie and they began to say that Baratie is better than Fairytales and Zeff was a better chef than their father Chen at that time. Someday their father is have enough of those comparisons and he decided to challenged Zeff into cooking duel in the name of his Restaurant, Zeff agree and in the end Chen was lost.

After Chen lost, Fairytales fame is also decreased with fast speed. In just 1 year Chen became more and more depressed, cooking was his life and his best abilities but he losses, then he became to drink a lot and do gambling. At first Chen just wanted find a way to forget his depression but soon he became addicted to alcohol and gambling. He lost a lot of money and then someday he lost all of his money and he got schemed by that Kepo for loaning money until it gone up to 100 million beli with Fairytales restaurant and their house as guarante, and later he can't pay it. Shen and his siblings don't know what happen until their father accidentally died a month ago and Kepo came and make troubles in our Restaurant.

That time Shen was so angry and beat Kepo and his lackey and accidentally burn Kepo original hair and breaking all his teeth, then later Kepo try to revenge on Shen with reporting it to the city councilor, city's mayor and the judges. Sadly for Shen and his siblings, according their law the city councilor and judges decide that Shen father debt was legal and they have the contract agreement between Shen father and Kepo so nothing can Shen do against it. Later they restaurant get forcefully closed by the government until they pay the debt which the deadline was tomorrow.

But the bigger problem was Shen second brother Shin. Since kid Shin was different compared to his other siblings, he was wild kid that often to create trouble around him, but their father love him the most because his talent on cooking was very high and he often say that Shin talent potential is far surpassing him and he hope that Shin will be the heir of Fairytales and next head chef. But there was a time when their are on vacation for cooking fest representing Mirrorball City on some city island near Red Line long time ago when Shin still kid , at that time Shin was missing on the sea but 3 month later he was founded and sent by a mysterious man to his families . Since that time he always said that he wanted to go around the world to find a various ingredient and create his ultimate dish.

On the year before Baratie was open, Shin told his families that he will become a pirates to finding various ingredient for his ultimate dish and Chen was very furious and disappointed by Shin, later Chen was chase Shin out from their home and Fairytales. Then Shin live the rest of his life as local city gangster.

When his father is died and he finally found out about the situation of his families and he decided to become a bounty hunter and in just 2 month of time he has helping Shen gathering 20 million beli then pay it to Kepo, Shin asked Kepo for gave them more time to pay the loan and Kepo agreed with 1 condition and the condition is that they must have a cooking duel again with Baratie chef and both of them agreed. Without so much option left, both sibling goes to Baraties and challenge them but this time, instead of Zeff himself they dueling with Zeff young apprentice called Sanji, Shen was lost again Sanji and later Shin challenge Sanji. The cooking duel between Shin and Sanji is so tensed that even make it appear on local newspapers as main article and in the end the duel is ended with draw result.

When Shen and Shin are on the way back to Mirror Ball Island, their ship got ambushed and attacked by a strong fishmen pirates group called the Arlongs, Shen and Shin is luckily escape after intense battle but Shen got seriously injured by the pirates captain called Arlong. When they arrive back to Mirror Ball city, Shin found out that the pirates ambush and attack was planned by Kepo. Shin was furious and immediately goes to Kepo for revenge but he came late, Kepo has bribe the marine stationed captain name Hugo for sheltering him and he promised to Hugo that he will help him to make Shemi becoming his 9th wife because its been long time Hugo have eyes on Shemi. Later Shin goes to the marine station searching for Kepo and he injured Captain Hugo then got shots with anesthesia and got captured.
