DILEMMA (1)

The door creaked open and a quaint flower garden came into sight. Its wooden path led her to a garden bench, hung from strong ropes with roses clinging unto it; it also had an armrest for comfort. The garden was the perfect place to relax and gaze at the night sky. She sat on the bench, taking a sip of the coffee she had brewed for herself enjoying the cool evening breeze against her skin.

“What are you doing here?” there was a hint of anger in Sarah’s voice.

“Shouldn’t I be here?” Kirsi tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, taking another sip of the coffee before turning to Sarah. She was beginning to get offended.

“No, you shouldn’t. I suggest you leave.” with her hands on her hips and her jaws clenched, she blurted out.

“Why? This is Ethan’s home and I’m his guest not yours so if anyone wants to tell me what to do then it should be him.” Kirsi replied. There was no way she was going to leave just because she asked her to.
