Geniuses.

While classes were going on I was still mentally teaching the girls every night. Just because they were going to classes in the day doesn't mean I'd let them get out of learning even more. We would finish up our homework and then I'd tutor them in extra things. There was some grumbling sometimes but they understood it was for their own good.

This was one of the ways I had hooked Hermione into the group. My vast knowledge of magic eclipsed here by several leagues. She craved more knowledge like a drunk craves booze. She also craved friends. Her school years were rather tragic with her not being able to make friends because she was always a bossy know it all so she ended up alone and outcast. To her hogwarts was a chance to learn about magic and also make friends she never had. I would be her first friend I would also help her break some of her bad habits.

The first thing I broke her of was writing three times the amount needed for essays. I explained that this created extra work for the teachers and that if you can't explain something in the amount of space your given does that mean that you really know the materials? This shocked her. She was causing trouble for teachers and she didn't know the material? She instantly cooled that down and started writing properly though she wrote really tiny and neatly. My handwriting was fucking crap I had chicken scratch handwriting I had worked on for year to make decent.

The next thing I broke her of was raising her hand for absolutely every single question. I explained to her that teacher use it as a teaching aid too see where the class was at and to give them a chance to explain things to people who don't understand and by her constantly blurting things out or answering every question this robbed the teachers of some of their ability to teach. Once again this knocked that bad habit out but she was allowed to raise her hand three times during a class.

The last thing I helped her with was her tone. She always came off as sounding kind of snobbish when she explained things to people. She would rush the explanation and the do it herself and be like see it's easy. Which made people dislike her. I told her to calm down. Take things slowly. She started to sit next to me more often so if she was struggling with something which almost never happened I could explain it to her.

This was a blessing and a curse as she was always trying to bicker at me to pay more attention in class. I was very patient with the girl. Occulmency skills on point. I explained I had already studied ahead and that my grades at this point in time matched hers. In fact almost all of the house of Merlin were straight A students. Hannah struggled a bit but we helped her out with our study sessions. So she too became a straight a student. Even Tonks was a straight a student. Although she wanted to be lazy I would bribe her to do her best. Tickets to weird sisters concerts on the line she did her absolute best to get good grades.

Our whole house was classified as geniuses with the Ravenclaw to compete with on terms of knowledge we pushed each other to get better grades. This was a good rivalry.

On a side note I was also taking private lessons with the flamels they knew who I was as I had met with them personally. They knew tons of different things and were quite intelligent. So what happened was I would exchange information with them and they would tutor me. I had books in the system I could buy that had knowledge they never even dreamed of and in exchange they gave me hands on knowledge at things that they knew. You can only learn so much from a book. It's like trying to learn martial arts from a book you can get the practices down but without a teacher to show you if your messing up you could end up just wasting years because you misunderstood something.

So they taught me all sorts of things happily and I provided new forms of entertainment to their long boring lives. Over 600 years of studying things and even if people make progress it's slowly. My information was generations ahead of its time and they loved it. Magic's they hadn't ever even heard of were presented to them in books form.

So that was my most looked forward to classes. We of course would sometimes just sit down and chat. They had tons of goods stories to tell me about in the centuries they had lived. People trying to hunt them down for their treasures, exploring places that no longer existed, meeting famous people of the past. It was a grand thing to hear.

We all had hobbies that we took part in while we were at school. Daphne studied under andromeda for potions. Tonks worked on learning magical combat from me. Padma was studying a bit of everything. Susan was studying laws and stuff her aunt usually did. Fluer was reading up on basic enchanting skills. Luna likes to study magical creature books and eat pudding. Every single one of them was different yet the same in that they were all hard working. The rituals had helped keep them from getting exhausted so easily and the occulmency helped them to retain the information they studied and not overwork their minds.

I made them exercise regularly aswell as it would be no good to have a healthy mind but a worn out body. I also sparred with them to help improve their combat skills as who knows when they would need it.

Basically it was a fully packed day every day of learning the girls could see themselves gaining skills daily and it helped motivate them to keep going.
