Empty vessels make the loudest noise

Nix and the kids had left that early morning leaving Betty alone in the house. She decided to take a walk before she finally left to "find herself".

She just couldn't stop thinking of the happenings of yesterday, especially the surprise kisses she had gotten from Nix. Her lips itched to get more but she was relieved her senses were still in control and had stopped her from what might have led to another thing and now she had her chance to run away from him she wouldn't let it go.

She decided to take a cab to anywhere her heart finds solace.

"Going where ma'am"

"Just taking a drive"

"Okay to where ma'am?"

"Don't worry I'll take a cab"

"No ma'am just let me" the driver pleaded.

Betty didn't want to argue so she agreed

They drove far away from their hometown, she didn't want to see or hear anyone she knew. She was already aware of the "I love you's, why did do that" coming from her friend Alicia and Nix. But she neither hear any of it. Driving down to the beach several miles away. She slept in the vehicle, thinking to herself whether or not she should walk into the ocean and never return. Misery had set in deep for me, especially with the realization she wouldn't be able to kiss Nix or see the children's innocent faces lovingly smiling at me.

Thinking this over, after not a minute she stepped out of the car and walked slowly to the ocean. When she made it a few feet away from her fate, my cell phone rang. It was her friend Alicia. She thought for a moment If she should answer it, she could easily Change her mind about what she planned on doing and she didn't want that. She prepared to throw her phone into the ocean when she got another call from Alicia. By now the water was to her mid-waist. Only three more steps and she'll be gone from this miserable earth and the people who lived on it

"Fine," she said to herself picking up the call.

"Hey....why didn't you pick up the call early? Don't tell me you told him that. Where are you? Don't tell me you've done something stupid again?" Alicia ranted

She smiled after hearing her tough, yet soothing voice.

"Maybe I am," I said in anger

"But why would it matter to you?"

"Because your my best friend Betty....and I love you as the sister you've always been"

There was a long pause on the phone

"Hello, Betty"...

Nix's door flew open, nix raised his head to see who dared to barge into his office without consent

"It had to be you" he gritted his teeth. The secretary stood by the lady who had forcefully opened the door. Nix signaled to her to leave seeing how restless she was

Sasha walked up to Nix

"Long time...."

"Am not here for jokes" Sasha cut him off

"So what are you here for then me?"

Sasha smirked

"I have no use of you. I need my son".

"Your son? Which one?".

"Sajan, Nix doesn't infuriate me"

"May I remind you where you are?"

"Nix I give you a week to bring my son if not?!"

Nix chuckled

"Empty vessels make the loudest noise"

Sasha fisted her palms in anger and left
