Harry Potter: Winchester Chronicles

This is an original fic, as I couldn't find a better novel to translate so I figured why not write one myself. The world still revolves around the Harry Potter series but with original and extra plot added to it to not make things boring. P.S. This is not related to the TV series Supernatural, apart from slight inspiration for a couple of things. --------------------- "Voldermort? Who? Can't you see me fighting a literal Demon?" "Why do I have to kill all these monsters to be a wizard? I don't know it's a family tradition" "What do you mean, 'Why is Harry so buff?' How else is he supposed to fight the noseless demon?" Luke woke up in a body belonging to the youngest member of the last Winchester Family, during a 'exorcism' at that. Discovering that he had transmigrated to the Harry Potter world, dreaming of a magical future, he still couldn't fathom why there were so many inconsistencies in the plot. Not to mention his new family and his father's mysterious and weird actions, but why are there so many monsters and villains hatching a new plot every single day in this children's fiction? ---------- https://www.patreon.com/The_disciple ---------- https://www.royalroad.com/profile/481960 I will be posting this story on RoyalRoad.com

Olivia

As soon as Luke left the room, Michael couldn't help but crash back into his chair, leaning back as far as the chair would allow him to.

"Olivia... it turns out our youngest son does look like you," Michael said in a somber voice looking at the picture frame, which contained the picture of his family.

In the center sitting down were Michael and his wife. Michael who looked much happier and healthier back then still had his brown hair and on his left side, his wife, Olivia, who looked prettier than even some Veelas around the wizarding world, her jade-like skin completely complimented her dark hair and shining light blue eyes.

Olivia was carrying a newborn baby, and on either side were Ethan and Jacob who were still younger. Ethan looked as serious as ever whereas Jacob couldn't look more like a troublemaker.

The picture moved by itself in a repeated manner, where the family would look at the camera and then slowly turn their head towards the young baby who let out a cry with a worried look.

"That was what we bickered about till the last time..." Michael said reminiscing to himself, "But it seems you were right again."

Michael stood straight up, stretching his back as he went over to the edge of the room, taking out his wand from his coat, he waved the wand in a masterful manner as the corner of the wall started to dig out by itself self-revealing a small collection of books, documents, and papers.

"Training him so young... maybe I have started to feel the effects of the curse." Michael shook his head taking out a bunch of paper and with another wave of his wand, the cabinet slid back into the wall again.

With the paper in his hand, he walked back to his desk and interlaced his fingers staring at the paper. A pen floated from his desk on top of the paper and began writing on the paper by itself with Michael concentrating on what to write.

"From all the studies and experiences, I have gathered, I need to focus on making the most compatible training method for him..." Michael nodded to himself, "Mana-wise, he could use some more focus with his curious mind, I am sure they truly favor him already so he needs to learn proper control and then-"

*Bang!*

A loud noise shook the whole room as Michael turned his head towards the entrance of the room, before he could even respond another similar explosion shook the room again. Michael shook his head and waved his hands as the door opened.

"What the hell are you thinking!" Ethan came rushing in the door, his wand pointed directly at Michael, his voice loud and filled with anger, "Answer me!"

Ethan released a spell, that shot like a bullet right onto Michael's desk leaving a hole in it.

Michael snorted as with a whip of his finger, the pen floating on the desk flew at an unbelievable speed toward Ethan who immediately used a blocking spell but it was too late as the pen stabbed him right in his hands making him let go of his wand.

"You should know that throwing away my wand wouldn't have any effect on what I can do," Ethan plucked out the pen from his hand, taking out two daggers from his back, "After all, you're the one who taught me this."

Michael slammed his hands on his desk breaking the desk into two, "I did what I had to."

"Enough of that bullshit!" Ethan clenched his hands on his dagger, "You should know better than to give a child that book. Don't you realize he's too young to bear the weight of the curse?"

"Curse? You mean he opened the second chapter already?" Michael said with his eyes wide open, "That means, his mana is already denser than I previously thought, I'll need to change up the training to match his current prowess."

Ethan snorted getting ready to jump at the old man,

"Stand down!" Michael roared at his furious son, "You don't think I know what giving him the book meant?"

"Then why did you?"

"Because I had to," Micheal said, "Your brother was completely different from what the letters said about him, not to mention his curious nature. Don't you see that a kid who was barely passing 4th grade is now roaming around the house reading complex magical text?"

"Not just reading it, his comprehension seems to be better than even most adults I know."

"You mean..." Ethan still on edge couldn't help but think about what his father was saying, "But since he can read the book-"

"Yes, it means that he isn't possessed." Michael nodded crossing his arms, "But he seems to be hiding something, I just don't know what."

"And regards to the curse, no matter how hard we try to hide it, the curse is going nowhere, so it's better if he knows about it ." Michael continued, "And you should know better that Luke can handle the learning curve from what he has shown us so far, not to mention his already dense mana... if he doesn't learn to control it, what do you think would become of him."

Ethan put away his dagger looking back at Michael, "I had given up on understanding your actions after mom left us, but I'll not let you tear this family again. I won't let you abandon my brother again."

"No matter how small of a decision you make in regards to Luke, you tell me about it." He continued, "If not, I'll take my brothers with me and leave."

Behind the door, Luke accidentally overheard most of the conversation, and seeing the conversation coming to an end, he slowly tip-toed his way back to his room, 'This is clearly not the right time!'

Slowly creeping back into his room, Luke stretched his body and sat back on his chair.

"What a heated debate, I thought they would kill each other, but things seem to be too serious than what I was prepared for," Luke shrugged off the things he had heard as there was no point in over-analyzing it, with all the things going on he was already way too busy to pay attention to their motives as he was sure, over time these things would come to the light by itself.

Taking out his diary he began preparing to write down the things he had learned about the curse and what he could get out of it.

From what Ethan said to him before, there surely was a way to have the curse and not be too affected by it. So although he was a bit tensed about the curse, he wasn't too worried about its effects since Ethan and Jacob seemed just fine.

"Now that I see it, it's no wonder a lot of things are automated with runes and pre-fixed magic, even the usage of traditional and both modern weapons make sense." Luke nodded to himself writing things down, "With the information I have from the first two chapters, things do seem to make more sense, with our family's connection to demons but I still don't understand the bigger picture."

"Hmm... let's see... about the Magic Drain effect of the curse, from what I know about Harry Potter, mortality was an insignificant factor from the very first book. The philosopher's stone, which is said to add on to one's life span." Luke jotted down what he remembered from the plot of Harry Potter, although not certain of all the details he was confident that he could get his hand on the thing.

"And there's the resurrection stone, which is said to revive a loved one as well... but that's kind of a no-go with it being Voldy's Horcrux and all... not to mention the whole thing about the philosopher stone being placed inside an enchanted mirror," Luke tapped on the diary with his pen, "Sigh! So although there are certain ways to prevent any unforeseen death in general with these items, getting them and being able to use them would be my biggest issue."

"For now, let's just focus on what my family teaches me..." Luke closed his diary, "If their method isn't good enough, I'll need to find the ways to solve these issues myself."
