Harry Potter: Winchester Chronicles

This is an original fic, as I couldn't find a better novel to translate so I figured why not write one myself. The world still revolves around the Harry Potter series but with original and extra plot added to it to not make things boring. P.S. This is not related to the TV series Supernatural, apart from slight inspiration for a couple of things. --------------------- "Voldermort? Who? Can't you see me fighting a literal Demon?" "Why do I have to kill all these monsters to be a wizard? I don't know it's a family tradition" "What do you mean, 'Why is Harry so buff?' How else is he supposed to fight the noseless demon?" Luke woke up in a body belonging to the youngest member of the last Winchester Family, during a 'exorcism' at that. Discovering that he had transmigrated to the Harry Potter world, dreaming of a magical future, he still couldn't fathom why there were so many inconsistencies in the plot. Not to mention his new family and his father's mysterious and weird actions, but why are there so many monsters and villains hatching a new plot every single day in this children's fiction? ---------- https://www.patreon.com/The_disciple ---------- https://www.royalroad.com/profile/481960 I will be posting this story on RoyalRoad.com

Daddy's boy pt.1

Luke had a late night, with him studying a potion book subtly named 'Beginner Potion Guide For Dummies!'. Despite its condescending title, the book was perfect for a beginner with no knowledge of making or even knowing what Potions are.

After giving up on opening the Winchester Chronicles in the meantime, Luke started following his usual schedule, which primarily focused on gathering at the very least basic knowledge on things he could get hands-on.

With his earlier motivation being just curiosity and wanting to learn more to prevent any future disasters from occurring, now that motivation was further fueled by wanting ways to remove the curse for good, not to mention, what seemed to be inevitable fights with monsters and demons.

Among all the subjects he was going through, potions seemed to be his weak point as he had trouble understanding a lot of the subject matter. Sure on the surface it was just basically throwing particular herbs and materials into a pot and brewing it with magic, which could be summed up to just following recipes.

But with no way of using magic and not even knowing how to do so, there was no way for him to have a practical experience, so only relying on theories, made it a very annoying subject to tackle with no frame of reference in his mind.

So the best he could do was remember basic potion recipes and try to ingrain different ingredients and their effects onto his brain.

Luke was in no way a genius, in fact, he would fair no better to most people when it came to such stuff, but with him having a second chance and better perspective towards life, he knew better than to waste his time as a young child and regret it in when he grew older.

"Ouch!" Luke woke up frightened and alert as he fell to the ground from his bed, he looked at Michael who was standing next to him with a wand in his hand, it didn't take a genius to figure out who made him fall from his bed, "What is it?"

"I remember telling you about our training and it's time to do exactly so," Michael replied his voice stern and his demeanor the usual.

"Today?" Luke waved his hand slowly climbing back to his bed, "You just mumbled on about training yesterday, and didn't even tell me to prepare for it."

Still sleepy Luke closed his eyes but feeling the stare at the back of his head he continued in a mumbling tone, "Can we do it tomorrow, I had a long night."

"Seems like defiance runs through all my children," Michael turned around which made Luke feel a bit better as he closed his eyes again in peace when suddenly he felt a tug on his ankle and before he could even be annoyed at what was happening, he was pulled from his bed getting dragged on along by his father.

"Ow! Shit! Sto- Stop! Be careful with the stai-- stairs! Ouch!"

Michael continued walking as if he didn't hear a thing dragging along his youngest son out of the house until they reached outside.

"Luke!" Ethan ran over to him and helped him up while Jacob stood there holding his laugh as best as he could,

"Wha- What's going on?" Luke asked looking at his angel of a brother who was helping him up, "Why are you guys up so early in the morning?"

"We are always up by this time," Jacob said, "It's you who's always sleeping in late."

"We usually start training early in the morning," Ethan said dusting him off while shooting a glare at Michael, "I'll be waking you up from now on, so don't fret."

Michael snorted, as he spoke out, "Gather in front of me!"

Luke following Ethan stood in front of their father still groggy, as Jacob whispered to Ethan, "Why's the old man here all of a sudden?"

"I am here to look over your training from today on like the good old days," Michael replied seemingly hearing him, "Let me see how capable you've become!"

Jacob became alert standing straight like a soldier in training, sweating a little on the side. It was a first for Luke to see the class clown of a brother he had in such a state making him a little amused, 'So my dear brother Jacob, wants the approval of his daddy,'

"Cough! Daddy's boy!" Luke said out loud for Jacob to hear.

"Tch..." Jacob clicked his tongue at his brother in annoyance as he mouthed, 'I'll kill you...' while gesturing his hands slicing through his neck.

"Enough fooling around!" Michael said, "Let's begin with the basics, each one of you would come and attack me one at a time so I can assess where you're at in terms of your training. The rule is simple, you can use any attacks you want whether it be weapons, traps, or magic but you'll only have 5 minutes to make me take even a single step. I, on the other hand, will only defend and not attack."

"Sounds like a good deal!" Luke could hear Ethan grumbling as he cracked his knuckles but before he could say anything Jacob had already stepped forward,

"I want to be the first one to go, Dad!"

"Good!" Michael said as both Ethan and Luke stepped a couple of meters away from the both of them.

'Truly a daddy's boy!' Luke yawned sitting on the grass with Ethan by his side looking over at what was about to happen.

Jacob went over to the black chest that lay beside the house but before he could open it, Michael's voice rang in his ears, "Don't waste your time with wooden weapons, pick the one you're used to."

Jacob looked over at Michael and then over towards Ethan who nodded at him, shrugging he went for the briefcase lying right next to the chest and opened it. Shoving his whole hand down inside the briefcase, he proceeded to pull out a heavy sword that was almost as tall as he was.

"How big is the space inside the briefcase?" Luke asked to which Ethan replied, "It's big enough to hold around a hundred different weapons and even some potions."

"Isn't that too small?" Luke asked, from what he remembered from the previous movies the briefcase shown there was big enough to put hundreds of magical creatures in them alongside, a separate habitat for each of them.

"It costs a fortune to afford briefcases with tons of spaces in them unless you can create one for yourself which already takes up a lot of time and proper skill to add that many Extension charms with precision," Ethan continued, "And you'll need proper permission from the MACUSA or any other authority to create or even buy such briefcases, with evidence of what you're trying to use them for."

"That seems lame and too complicated..." Luke replied,

Ethan just smiled looking at his dejected brother as he turned over to look back at the battle that was about to happen.

"Are you ready, dad?" Jacob asked carrying a heavy sword on his back and a wand in his hand.
