In the evening, Nicolas Flamel triggered the alchemical Portkey inside the training ground and returned to his hut. 

After leaving Flamel's hut, Lynn came to Professor Green's residence. "Teacher, I have some ideas on how to improve your magic-dampening rod!" Lynn knocked on the door and said to him.

Hearing this, Professor Green was stunned at first. He didn't believe that Lynn could improve the dampening stone, which he had invented decades ago, after only learning alchemy for over a week. However, he didn't think Lynn would lie to him. So, Professor Green motioned for Lynn to show the results.

Lynn raised his left hand, and a ball of flame with black runes flashed from his palm, a strange aura spreading from the magic-dampening flame. Feeling his magic power slightly suppressed, Professor Green couldn't help but exclaim, "This is... the power of the Dampening Stone?! Lynn, you actually integrated it into your magic flame?!"

"Teacher, this is the secret method taught to me by my master," Lynn explained. "This flame is called the Magic-Dampening Flame. I combined the power of the Dampening Stone of alchemy, the dampening runes of array alchemy, and the magical power of the blazing flame to form this special flame."

Professor Green reached out to the flame, feeling its burning sensation and power to suppress magic. He sighed, "I didn't expect Flamel would teach you this secret method. Integrating the power of magic dampening into magic is the first step for you to perfect the magic-dampening rod?"

Lynn shook his head. "Not only that, teacher, look!" As he said it, he judged Professor Green as a friendly force in his mind, and the magic suppression on him by the Magic-Dampening Flame disappeared instantly. With the change of Lynn's mind, the suppression of Professor Green's magic power flickered on and off.

Realizing this, Professor Green asked in disbelief, "Lynn, can your Magic-Dampening Flame distinguish between enemies and friends?!"

Lynn nodded. "Yes, it can judge the wizards within its influence range as I wish and suppress the magic power of hostile wizards!"

Hearing this, Professor Green's body trembled slightly, his eyes seeming a little moist. "It can actually be done to this extent. If my magic-dampening rod could have distinguished between enemies and friends back then, I, with full magic power, could have had the ability to protect myself against Grindelwald, whose magic power was suppressed, even if I couldn't defeat him!"

Professor Green understood that the ability of the Magic-Dampening Flame to discern enemies from friends was Lynn's improvement on the magic-dampening power he had invented. Lynn continued, "If I can thoroughly study this power in the future and apply it to the magic-dampening rod, then even if it cannot seal a wizard of Voldemort's level, it will be enough to change the dynamics of offense and defense between both sides!"

As he spoke, Lynn took the magic-dampening flame back into his body. Professor Green grabbed Lynn's shoulders, believing his decision to accept Lynn as his apprentice was correct. "Good boy! You go back and rest first, and let me think about improving the magic-dampening rod..."

Lynn agreed and returned to his residence to rest. Professor Green stood in place as night enveloped the manor, the white moonlight illuminating his surroundings. He was silent for a long time before finally moving.

With a wave of his wand and a loud crack, Professor Green appeared outside Flamel's hut. Nicolas Flamel, unexpectedly awake, waited for him at the door. "Wallison, I guessed you would come."

Green looked at Flamel, his tone complicated. "Master, the secret method..."

Flamel shook his head. "Back then, you had not yet mastered any non-verbal and wandless magic and could not meet the requirements for learning this secret method. You were not talented in alchemy, nor willing to practice your magic power. It was not until that incident that you gradually met the requirements. But, would you still be willing to learn this secret method now?"

Green smiled bitterly. "Indeed, even if you are willing to teach me now, I am afraid I am not willing to learn it. After all, even if I can learn the secret method now, so what? It is still impossible to save her! The hope of the future, then leave it to the future people!"

After speaking, Green fell silent again. And Flamel did not continue. The two stood silently at the hut door, looking at each other in silence.

When the sky gradually brightened, Flamel suddenly spoke, "Do you think that what I promised Dumbledore at the beginning was too early?"

Green was stunned. "Are you talking about bringing the Philosopher's Stone to England and giving it to Dumbledore last year?"

Flamel nodded slightly. "To be honest, I originally told Dumbledore that after he used the Philosopher's Stone next year, he could destroy it, because we have lived enough and there is nothing much to miss in this world..."

Hearing this, Green was shocked. "Master, you..."

Before he could finish, Flamel raised his hand, interrupting Green. "But now, Lynn, the alchemy and magic genius who has been extremely rare in over 600 years, has been brought to me by you. Perhaps he needs the power of the Philosopher's Stone..."

Three days later, it was time for Lynn to return to England. After respectfully bidding farewell to Flamel, Lynn and Professor Green used his provided international Portkey to return to the door of the Leaky Cauldron in London.

"You don't need my help to buy your textbooks for the next school year at Hogwarts, right?" Professor Green smiled after seeing Lynn arrive. 

Lynn smiled, shook his head, and took out the Hogwarts parchment listing the required books for the year. Gesturing to Professor Green, he said, "Of course not."

"Very good," Professor Green replied. "Lynn, is there any gift you want? A parting gift from me, anything is fine, including Muggle things!"

Hearing this, Lynn lowered his head, pondering. The next school year was when Harry Potter would start at Hogwarts. And the events there would include Quirinus Quirrell, possessed by Voldemort, as the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor; a troll in the dungeons on Halloween; Voldemort hunting unicorns in the Forbidden Forest; and the Philosopher's Stone being hidden at Hogwarts, with the protections eventually being breached.

Although Lynn could avoid him, being a Rowle would definitely make him a focus for Voldemort. In that case, what Lynn needed most was likely something to protect himself!

Thinking this, Lynn looked at Professor Green. "I want a gun from the Muggle world!"
