Ch. 07 It's Party Time Bay Bay.

As I sat there like a nervous wreck thinking what would be the reaction of my family about my decision to go to Hogwarts, grandpa broke the silence and asked in a serious tone "Why is it that you want to go to Hogwarts Aditya Chatterjee?".

I was confused as to why he used my full name I looked around the dining table and everyone gave the same look and I understood why he used my full name because it was not the decision of Adi but that of the future head of the Chatterjee house, my decision hold a great weight to it, it would dictate how the house would work in the coming years.

I cleared my throat and took a deep sigh and said "I want to expand my horizons a bit and it is said that Hogwarts is the no one school in the world and I am especially want to do an apprenticeship under professor Filius Flitwick he is said to be best charms and runes professor there and if I have a better education I can make our family even more prominent and not just in India but in the world Grandfather"

Hearing my reasoning grandfather said, "If you choose to follow this path we will support you in any way we can you don't have to worry about anything I will write a letter to the Ministry of magic in England I know for sure that Cornelius would love that you would be attending school in England".

I gave him a surprised look and said, "You know the minister grandpa?".

"I know him he is a spineless coward and an idiot but holds much power in England through bribes and the daily prophet is his propaganda tool"

"So if you are going to go to Hogwarts then you would be needing more lessons in the department of manners and ballroom etiquette," said Maa

Father said, "And I would now be personally be training you in hand to hand combat and real fighting situations".

grandpa chimed in "You would also need to increase your occlumency training and before you go to Hogwarts you should also be able to get a better handle at your magic flow"

It was at this point I had a question in my mind I never watched my grandpa with a wand so I decided to ask him "Grandpa where is your wand?" what my grandpa said kinda shocked me.

"I don't need a wand for day to day use, I have mastered wandless and countless magic in most of the area the only time I whip out this bad boy is the time when I seriously want to use magic", he showed me his wand which was made of acacia wood and had deep violet hues in the cracks. After everything was said and done everyone went into their rooms.

With the dawn of a new day, all of my training and studies were all cracked up to an 11, no one showed any remorse in my training and I also got two new teachers, my new teacher who would be teaching me Manners and Dancing and how to carry myself in social situations her name Miss Payal Pal, she was very strict and believed that everything must always be done properly and in a graceful manner.

And an unexpected teacher was my uncle who taught me how to play the violin which I found he was very good and I loved playing the violin because it kind of relaxed me after all the day's tasks.

Kalki and I were making a new kind of potion it would be used to make your body strong so that you can exert yourself more without tiring yourself that much and the potion would also enhance the muscles and strengthen the magic vessel.

The potion was a bright red and smelled pretty disgusting I decided to not be a baby and chugged the whole thing in one go and sure enough, it was disgusting, it felt like acid was diluted with salt water, but it, in turn, gave my body a boost and Kalki said that effect of this potion would last about 45 days.

After the potion making Kalki and I were working on our project and it was kind of like stuck in a rut we couldn't find a solution to our problem it was until my uncle told me about his discovery from the Amazon he said that the wizards there used a spell called 'de som' in this spell only two spells were used sonorous and Silencio it would make a tunnel of sorts through which sound would propagate, hearing this I was immediately off to the lab working on my project has a breakthrough.

I had made great strides in occlumency my mindscape was now almost complete it looked like that of the Gonda fort but it was still a work in progress it will take much time to complete my landscape.

It was now 11 March 1990 my birthday today I was about to make my debut in society for the first time needless to say I was nervous but my occlumency training was coming in hand I had an expression of aloofness on my face. Grandpa had said me to wait in my room he will send Gul to pick me up.

So I waited in my room and I could hear people had started to pour into the house it was only getting louder by the second.

Gul appeared in front of me and said " Young master, please master had asked for your presence". I asked Gul "How do I look?" I was wearing an azure colour 3 piece silk suit with a grey silk tie I also had an emerald cufflink and a dull purple colour handkerchief, during this time I had also grown in height and was sporting a new haircut I had also gained some height I was about 4'9" tall now and had a ripped physique.

Gul looked at me and said, "Young master looks splendid many young ladies are going to go crazy over you young master".

"Thank you for the compliment Gul now let's go everyone is waiting".

And the mc will be in Hogwarts by Chapter 10 so I wanted to ask which house should I put our mc in I am more leaning towards the Slytherin house but your suggestions would be helpful.
